Amberly never knew her birth parents, her adoptive parents say they only knew her mother, they also said, 'God knows who her father is' but they normally only said it too themselves, never in front of Amberly.

Amberly walked down the sidewalk, her red hair swaying as she walk, her glasses slide down her nose slightly, so she pushed them up, her best friend Ri, walked beside her, Ri's blonde hair was up in a bun, in school they're known as the 'hot duo' they always laughed and said 'thanks, but no, there are hotter people in this school' but the guys never stop.

Amberly and Ri walked into the compound and was greeted by Peter, aka her pa.

"Hi Mr. Barnes-Parker" Ri smiled and Peter smiled back.

"Hi Ri, Amberly" Peter greeted them both.

"Ri, my parents aren't even married, stop calling pa Barnes-Parker" Amberly giggled.

"I know, that man is planning something, I know it, when and if he proposes I'm slapping him, then kissing him" Peter said and Amberly laughed, so did Ri.

"Ok pa, you do that" Amberly playfully rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"You go now, Buck is coming home soon, Ri can stay like normal" Peter smiled and walked away.

"Your pa is so nice" Ri told her 'friend'

"He is, but annoying" Amberly smiled at Ri.

"You have amazing parents" Ri said as she opened the door to Amberly's room.

"I suppose"

"Am, your parents save the world and people everyday" Ri said and sat on Amberly's bed.

"That's why I'm worried, I'm worried they'll get killed" Amberly sighed and sat down, "I'm worried one day, they'll go out to protect the world, then ever come back"

"Amber..... I- I'm sorry, I suppose I should have considered your point of view" Ri hugged Amberly.

"Its fine Ri" Amberly looked at her and smiled, their faces inches apart.

Clint suddenly fell from the vents.

"Ow..." Clint rubbed his head and sat up.

"Hey old man" Amberly rolled her eyes and went to go help him up.

"Hello" Clint smiled and stood up.

"What were you doing?" Ri asked.

"I was running away from Tony" Clint replied with a smiled.

"Why you runnin' from grandpa?" Amberly asked.

"I told him Peter is a better cook" Clint replied.

"Ohh, but Tony can't cook, why is he-"

"CLINT!!" Tony shouted and slammed the door open.

"Time to go! I'll see ya later!!" Clint jumped into the vents.

"Oh, hey Am, hey Ri" Tony smiled.

"Hey split personality" Ri smiled back, and Tony rolled his eyes walking out.

"He has split personality" Ri rolled her eyes and Amberly nodded in agreement.

"He sure does" Amberly agreed with Ri.

"Hey Am"

"Yea?"

"Do you think Lily is nice?" Ri asked.

"Sure, she gives me cookies every Monday her girlfriend baked" Amberly responded and looked at Ri.

"I see" Ri nodded in understanding. 

"Hehehe" Amberly giggled.

"Why are you giggling?"

"Cuz I can"

"I see, you do you" Ri hugged Amberly.

"I will~"

Ri laughed and layed down, "Can I tell you something?" Ri looked at Amberly.

"Of course" Amberly smiled.

"I- um... I'm" Ri sat up.

"You're scaring me, what's wrong?" Amberly asked worried.

"Promise you won't hate me?"

"I promise, Ri"

"I'm... lesbian" Ri looked at the ground.

"Really..?"

Ri gulped, "Yes"

"Thats why you were so scared, Riley, I will always be there, I don't care you're lesbian, you're still the same person" Amberly hugger Ri.

The two hugged for a few seconds before pulling apart.

"Thanks" Ri smiled.

"Now, I want pizza" Amberly smiled.

"Lets go then" Ri stood up and Amberly did the same.

The two went out and got pizza, they came back with a mad Peter.

"Annnd where were you?"
