Obviously this has Endgame spoilers. Also, this is basically a part two to the one where Peter snapped instead of Tony and Natasha survived and this is basically the story.

"So how are you still alive?"
Clint asked a week after finding out that his best friend was still alive.

Everyone in the room turned to the two.

"So, before we left, Danvers gave me a bit of advice. She said that the Skrulls will help us and I knew that one of us had to sacrifice themselves so I contacted them and one of them agreed to switch places with me."

"Is that it? I thought it would have been more complicated."
Tony said.

"Nope. It was simple."

And that's how Endgame should have happened.
