You walked alongside your fellow Avengers, your family, toward the Quinjet in your new gear. Tony had upgraded everyone's costumes to better armor everyone up and protect you all from the dangerous radiation.

Your suit was a bit more bulky but you could still move like before. Your ax was now more sturdy and your armor was lined with F/C light for effect. Your pistol was also upgraded to avoid any explosions.

You all stood there in your new gear as you mentally prepared yourself for the final battle.

Kamala: Wait.

You all looked at her.

Kamala: Aren't you going to say the thing?

Cap: What?

Kamala smiled like a little kid as she leaned in and whispered to Cap.

Kamala: You know. "Avengers Assemble!"

Tony: Yeah, we don't actually say that.

Y/N: It's just a marketing thing.

Natasha: Just be cool, kid.

Kamala slowly nodded.

Kamala: Got it.

The Quinjet flew through the ruins of San Francisco as you looked out the window. Standing by you was Steve who was looking at what he caused. You looked at him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: You saved more lives then we lost. You did the right thing.

Cap looked at you and suddenly saw your mother standing there with a smile.

Mom: A part of being a hero...

Y/N: Is making the hard decisions.

Cap looked at you and smiled.

Cap: Kid, you're more like your mother than you know.

You smiled back at him as he turned to the cockpit.

Cap: JARVIS, you got the fortress yet?

JARVIS: Mapping radiation signatures...now.

You all watched as JARVIS scanned the area. You used your eye to help out and you noticed the faint outline of a large base on the water.

Y/N: Someone's been busy.

Natasha: They're right above your heat signature, Cap. That must be the source of AIM's power.

Cap: Nat, take us down.

You nodded and followed everyone else to the back of the jet. You cracked your knuckles and turned to Tony.

Y/N: Hey.

Tony looked at you.

Y/N: Thanks for coming back.

Tony smiled as the doors opened.

Natasha: Kamala and I will take out the main control tower.

Y/N: Right.

You were about to turn back but Kamala looked at you.

Kamala: Y/N!

You stopped and turned around.

Kamala: When this is over, I need to tell you something.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: Why not tell me now?

Kamala smiled as she turned back to the controls.

Kamala: Because I know you're going to get through this.

You smiled and looked forward before jumping out. Everyone landed on the platform as the waves of the bay crashed into the pillars below. Overhead, Natasha and Kamala flew off to take care of the tower.

Cap: Thor, Tony, take out as many generators as you can. We stop that signal, we stop those Warships.

Thor and Tony nodded and flew off to do their part. You and Cap then looked at Hulk.

Cap: Hulk...

Y/N: Destory everything you see that isn't us.

Hulk: HULK, SMASH!!!

Hulk rushed forward as Cap turned to you slowly.

Cap: Why?

Y/N: Why not?

Cap: Fair point. Let's go.

You nodded and followed Cap towards the base. You both hit a pad that suddenly launched you up toward the next platform that was hovering over the water. You both stood there for a moment before you shot out a line for the next platform while Cap had to take the launch pad.

You both reached the platform as one of the towers erupted into flames. You and Cap both rushed forward and you swung over to the next platform while Cap ran among the wall.

You landed on the platform and immediately got to work at destroying all the bots in sight.

Tony: One tower down!

Thor: Pace yourself, Stark.

Tony: Hey, some of us don't have a thousand years of blowing stuff up to look forward too, Goldie Locks.

Natasha: Aw, he missed you Thor.

You stabbed into the last bot and swung over to Hulk. He grabbed you and tossed you up into the air. While you were up there, you opened fire on any remaining bots. Hulk caught you and gently placed you down.

Y/N: Thanks, bud.

Thor: So, I noticed that you had an ax, Young Y/N. I assume you took some inspiration from your favorite Avenger?

Natasha: Not a chance. He took the gun thing from me.

Tony: What about the armor? That's all Stark.

Hulk: Strong like Hulk!

Cap: He fights like me. You can't take that away.

Kamala: Wait. Y/N had most of this stuff before you guys showed up again. And everything else was given to him by his mom.

Tony: Yeah well, who's your favorite Avenger?

You stayed silent.

Y/N: Really?

Thor: Indeed.

Natasha: I'm kinda curious too.

Y/N: You guys have to be joking. You really don't know my favorite Avenger?

All: No.

Y/N: My mom! You damn dorks.

Tony: Yeah, that's fair.

You and Cap moved onto the next platform and Hulk smashed into the reactor. You and Cap looked around and spotted the next one.

Y/N: Let's go.

Cap nodded and you both rushed toward it.

Thor: More generators down.

Kamala: No Inhumans around.

Cap: Have some faith. They have to be here somewhere.

Cap and you spotted the next set of enemies and you smirked. Cap threw his shield at you and you caught it. You then attached a line to it and spun it around, destroying everything it hit. You then tossed it back and gave a mock salute.

???: I was wondering if my friends, The Avengers, would make an appearance.

Y/N: Tarleton?

???: Brings a tear to my eye to see you all assembled once again. You're making this easier for me by offering yourself to the slaughter.

You and Cap stood there for a moment before you both looked back at the trail of destruction you left behind.

Y/N: Uh....yeah.

You and Cap turned back around just as one of the bots tried to attack you. You caught it's fist and slammed it to the ground before you shot out a line and attacked the next one with your ax. You then noticed the purple glow.

Cap: What the hell is this?

Tony: Purple glowing robots?

Cap: Tarleton.

Y/N: He has the same power I have. Eh, kinda. He can remote control tech. Take those ones out first.

Cap nodded and charged forward at the purple glowing bots. You followed after him and slammed your ax into one. Your eyes went wide when you noticed your own sparks seemed to fuse and fight with Tarleton's.

You stepped back and watched as the bot twitched and dropped to the ground lifeless.

Y/N: Woah. That's new.

You looked at your hand and smiled as you pulled out your gun. You opened fire on the purple glowing bots who all dropped when you hit them.

Y/N: So it cancels out. Good to know.

You and Cap turned to Hulk who had leaped forward and smashed into a spinning fin. He then leaped and smashed into two larger bots and he contiued on his rampage.

Y/N: Thank you!

You shot out a line and swung up to the next platform with Cap following.

Cap: Your time is up, Tarleton. We're coming for you.

Tarleton: Optimistic til the end. At least you'll die with a smile on your face.

Y/N: Hey, Tarleton?

Tarleton: Leviathan.

Y/N: Dumbass say what?

Tarleton: What?

Y/N: Ha! That's twice now!

Tarleton: I think I'll enjoy killing you the most.

You smiled under your helmet as you reached the last platform.

Cap: Avengers, on me.

Hulk kept charging forward, clearing a path for you. As you and Cap followed, Tony and Thor flew down to trail over you.

Tony: I bet they wished they had a Gamma monster on their side.

Kamala: Uh, they do. Abomination?

Y/N: That big dude Hulk fought back at the Archive when....oh wait. You weren't there for that.

You and Cap followed Hulk as he smashed into one of the labs. You entered the room and looked around.

Phil Sheldon: The Airships are emitting a strange dark mist.

You and Cap noticed the large screen on one of the walls which was showing the news. You both walked over to it to see Phil Sheldon reporting from New York as the airships sprayed down D.A.R.K Terrigen.

Y/N: No.

Phil Sheldon: Everyone is starting to panic! They're running! And screaming! The mist seems to have an effect on people. Like it's triggering something in them!

There was suddenly an explosion overhead of the reporter.

Phil Sheldon: I can't believe it. AIM is opening fire on the US Airforce!

He started to cough as did the camera man.

Phil Sheldon: We need to get out of here! Run! Run!

The screen glitched out and turned to static. Purple energy suddenly surrounded it and the screen showed Tarleton. Or, what used to be Tarleton.

Tarleton: It wasn't supposed to end like this...Captain.

Cap: It doesn't have to, George!

Y/N: No, no. I'm pretty sure we still need to kick Tarleton's ass.

Tarleton: Don't call me that! He failed! MODOCK won't.

Y/N: Ew.

Cap: You're calling yourself MODCOK now? Is this how you live with yourself?

MODOCK: No. We can't fix this mistake. We can only erase it.

Cap: No.

MODOCK: Your sacrifice will be remembered, Captain. Leviathan.

Y/N: I'm coming for you.

You stepped back as Cap slammed his shield into the screen which shattered it. Cap sighed and touched his com.

Cap: I'm guessing you all caught that.

Natasha: Let's take out that signal tower.

Kamala: And his face!

Y/N: Agreed.

Natasha: We can't get to the last transmitter in the Quinjet. Too much ground fire.

Y/N: Leave that to us. Do what you can for now. We'll try not to fall to our deaths.

Natasha: Good plan.

You and Cap followed Hulk to the next platform that was covered in robots to smash up. You leaped up and slammed your ax down which sent a few bots over the side and into the water. You then raised your ax and swung it into another before you activated your gloves. You slammed your hand down and the strings all shot out to the nearby enemies.

MODOCK: Kill Captain Rogers! Without him, they're crumble.

Hulk grunted and Kamala laughed.

Kamala: Hey! I think I actually understood that one!

Tony: Woah! There's kids on the channel! Watch your mouth, big guy.

You smirked and opened fire on the drones overhead before you threw your ax into an Adaptoid. You pulled out two knives and charged forward with them in hand to slice down anyone else in your way.

MODOCK: This is futile.

Y/N: Nah uh!

MODOCK: I am not going to argue with you, child! You are leading everyone to their deaths just as they lead your mother to hers. And for what?! No one will even know you're gone.

Tony: Seesh. He really has the whole villains monolouge down.

Kamala: Five years of practice.

Y/N: What no pussy does to a mother fucker.

Thor: They sound like you, Stark.

Natasha: We'll work on it.

You laughed and threw your ax at the door which opened it.

Y/N: Got it open!

The door was suddenly shut.

Y/N: Nevermind!

Natasha: I'm working on it.

Just then, the platform behind you slowly rose up revealing two Adaptoids. From the skies, however, Tony and Thor showed up and joined in the fight. You smiled and charged forward to cut down your foes.

As you fought, you focused on destroying everything you could. You stabbed your ax into the Adaptoid and used whatever strength you could to sling it toward Hulk who grabbed it and crushed it.

You all stood beside the others as a Dreadnought covered in purple energy dropped down from a ship.

Cap: Guess the gloves are off now.

Y/N: They are?

Kamala: Were they ever on?

Natasha: Keep them busy. I'll get the door.

You nodded and charged forward and swung yourself up to fight the Dreadnought. You slammed your ax into the robot before you opened fire onto it. You leaped away and swung away as it fell to the floor. You jumped down and smirked as the doors opened.

Natasha: You have to hurry!

You nodded to Cap and the two of you charged forward towards the doors.

Y/N: Keep them busy!

You and Cap made into the door before it closed. You and Cap sighed and turned back to the room.

Y/N: Welp. Here we go.

You shot out a line and swung forward through the room while Cap had to work his way around. You landed at the end of the room and turned around to see that Cap was still a ways away. Well, at least you can rest for a bit.

You were suddenly hit against the head by an unseen force. You flipped up and grabbed your ax as Kraken stepped forward with her blade out.

Kraken: Leviathan. I was waiting for you.

You groaned.

Y/N: Seriously?

You blocked her blade and pushed her away before you pulled out your gun. Kraken moved to attack but you shot her shoulder which caused her to stagger.

Y/N: I'm not dealing with you right now.

You opened fire which caused her to stagger back more and more before she fell off the platform. Cap finally made it to you and looked around confused.

Cap: Did I miss something?

Y/N: Nope. Let's go.

Cap nodded. You both headed forward and hit the platform that launched you through the window. As you did, an Airship appeared and you both yelled out. You grabbed onto the the bot as Tony and Thor came through and attacked the ship.

You and Cap fell on the pipe below.

Y/N: Oh God.

Cap: Let's...let's just go.

You nodded. While Natasha and Tony worked to free the Inhumans with JARVIS' help, you and Cap rushed to the last tower. You both slowed down and looked at the huge tower.

Y/N: Oh.

Cap: Up we go.

You and Cap headed forward and began your climbed up the tower. You shot down several drones that flew towards you and Cap. You shot out a line and grabbed onto Cap to pull yourself up to the top of the tower. You made it to the top and you spotted the core. You and Cap looked at each other and nodded. You pulled out your gun and Cap readied his shield.

You opened fire as Cao threw his shield and the core erupted into flames. The tower shut off and you smiled as Cap reported in.

Cap: That's the last core. The transmission should be down.

Natasha: No. I'm still reading a signal from the evacuation sight.

Y/N: God damnit.

Cap and you walked to the edge of the tower and looked down at the evacuation site down below.

Cap: That's the signature that was causing the Earthquake.

Y/N: God damnit!

Cap: Whatever is down there, MODOCK doesn't want us getting to it.

Suddenly, several rockets fired off from the defense system.

Y/N: Oof.

You and Cap jumped from the tower just as the rockets flew at it and blew it up.

Cap: Shit!

Your eyes went wide as you swung yourself to the ground.

Kamala: Did he just swear?

Y/N: Captain Steven Rogers! You watch your damn mouth!

You and Cap charged forward as everything around you went to shit. Airships were dropping into the base and the water, explosions everywhere, and bots shutting down.

Y/N: Well, this looks like things are going well.

You and Cap spotted Hulk and followed after him. You both leaped after Hulk who landed in the hole that lead to a platform over the evacuation site. Followed by you were all of the others as well.

Tony: What are you thinking, Cap?

Cap: That transmitter was a decoy.

Y/N: Because of course it was. Tarleton is still transmitting somehow.

MODOCK: You struggled against the unstoppable tide of progress, Avengers.

You all faced forward as MODOCK emerged from the space below. Purple energy traveled all around him and he looked even uglier in person.

Natasha: This just got a whole lot weirder.

Thor: What has happened to his face?

MODOCK: You can slow me down but I have enough mist to blanket the world!

A warship arose from below and Tony aimed at it.

Cap: Avengers, we can't let those ships leave the bay.

Hulk and Thor rushed off to stop the rising ships while you turned to Tony.

Y/N: Hey, Tony? Do me a favor and take out those thrusters.

Tony: Thought you'd never ask.

Tony blasted forward as robots appeared all around you. You smirked as you pulled out your ax.

Y/N: Bring it on.

A bot charged at you but you blocked it's attack with your ax. You then drove it right into it's chest and threw it off the platform. Kamala smashed a few more and turned to you. You rushed to her and she caught you before she threw you into a crowd of bots. You activated your strings and tore them apart before you landed.

Y/N: Nice one!

Tony flew around and fired off shots at the thrusters on MODOCK's chair before they overheated and erupted.

MODOCK: All this wasted effort. It will make no difference. Inhumanity is the blight of this world.

From his head, a purple laser fired off and hit Tony. He went flying off and crashed into the side of the site.

Tony: Ow. That hurt a little.

Cap: I'll take it from here. Everyone else, fan out and hold off Tarleton's forces.

You nodded and went off to fight more bots, but instead you found Kraken standing there.

Y/N: Oh, come on!

Kraken: This isn't over.

You sighed and blocked her attack. You spun around and swung the back of the ax into her knee before you spun in the opposite direction and slammed your foot into her helmet. Your sister fell down but the leaped back up to attack again.

Kraken: You will die here!

Before she could reach you, she was suddenly hit out of your view and down into the site by a large hand.

Kamala: I got her!

You stood there for a moment before you nodded to yourself.

Y/N: Okay then.

Cap threw his shield at MODOCK which knocked him down.

Cap: He's down! Assemble on me!

You and Natasha moved to his side and charged forward.

MODOCK: Not quite yet.

Suddenly, a purple force field appeared around MODOCK which sent the three of you flying backwards. You all hit the ground in pain.

Y/N: Ah! We need a plan! Anyone?!

Thor: Aye. I'm on my way!

Thor flew in front of MODOCK and lifted his hammer into the air. You watched as he aimed his hammer at your foe and a powerful blast suddenly appeared and rained down on Tarleton who cried out.

Y/N: The Bifrost.

You used the chance to swing up and open fire on Tarleton.

MODOCK: No!

Y/N: Hey, Tarleton! I'm coming for that ass! Gonna eat it like Shrimp Fried Rice.

MODOCK: Silence!

Y/N: <Slurping noises>

MODOCK: You will pay for this annoyance!

Y/N: Bet!

You fired one last shot which hit the center piece of MODOCK's head thing.

MODOCK: AHHH! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! You can't help but hurt others! Only I can stop you!

You landed next to Cap and watched as something much larger appeared. Much, much larger. Your eyes grew wide at the sight of a giant figure emerging from the bay. Everyone regrouped to you and Cap as you watched the humanoid figure.

Cap: What the hell is that thing?

Thor: A Kree Sentry.

Y/N: Okay. Gonna ask again. The hell is that?

Tony: Cap, I'm getting the feeling that that gem in his head isn't just to look pretty.

You looked at the gem that you had shot to see that it was cracked, but not broken.

Natasha: I think we got bigger problems.

Tony: Yeah! On it!

Tony flew up and created some distant between himself and the figure. It moved to attack but Tony unleashed his Unibeam which distracted the Sentry. The Sentry then grabbed a nearby pipeline and used it to smack Tony out of the air.

Y/N: Tony!

Thor flew up next.

Thor: You cannot win!

He readied his hammer but he was instead knocked out of the sky by the Sentry's laser eyes. Thor landed next to the Quinjet where Kamala was ushering the remaining Inhumans to safety.

Kamala: Come on!

Tony: Kamala, heads up!

Kamala looked over to see that the Sentry had turned it's attention on her. You watched as she dodged the beam but instead landed in front of more AIM bots. You shot out a line and swung yourself over to her.

Tony: Big guy, Kamala and Y/N need help.

Hulk stopped smashing the airship he was on and looked back to see you and Kamala standing side by side. He slammed down on one of the bots and threw it away as you helped Kamala to her feet. Hulk went on his rampage as you looked back at the Sentry.

Y/N: Jesus.

Kamala: What do we do?

Before you could answer, the Sentry looked at you and fired off another beam. You grabbed Kamala and leaped out of the way of the beam. Instead, it hit Hulk who was knocked down. Thor and Tony moved into to attack the Sentry again while Natasha and Cap dodged any debris heading their way. Tarleton used this to his advantage and instead trapped Cap in a field of energy.

MODOCK: Losing your leading worked to stop you once. Let's try again.

Natasha: You can try.

She brought out her pistols and opened fire on MODOCK as she walked forward. MODOCK was hit by every single bullet and ended up losing his grip on Cap who broke free and landed on the ground. MODOCK let out a cry and the Sentry reacted.

You watched as it fell against the walls of the site and it suddenly hit you.

Y/N: It's tech.

Kamala looked at you confused.

Y/N: The Sentry. It's tech! That's how MODOCK is controlling it!

MODOCK: I tried to get you to see reason. If you wish to stand with your Captain, then you will DIE TOGETHER!A

You and Kamala watched as MODOCK flew up into the air and disappeared into the Sentry's head. Purple energy began to spark from the large hole and the Sentry reactivated. It turned around and fired off a beam at Widow who rolled out of the way.

From behind you, Hulk charged forward and jumped towards the Sentry.

Y/N: HULK!

Hulk landed on the left eye and began to beat down on it. You watched with wide eyes and a racing heart as Hulk seemed to make some progress.

MODOCK: This ends now.

Your eyes grew wide when you watched Hulk get blasted off the eye by a beam. Hulk crashed into the ground but the beam didn't stop. Slowly, he began to transform back into Bruce.

Kamala: HULK!

Y/N: BRUCE!

You and Kamal raced to help him as Thor crashed down. His hammer landed somewhere away from him. As you and Kamala ran through the ruins of the site, you wondered how this would all end.

With a bang?

Or with a whimper?

No. You shook those thoughts from your mind as you finally reached Hulk. You were going to survive this. With everyone. You and Kamala finally made it to Bruce as the Sentry turned it's attention back to Tony.

Kamala: No!

She rushed over to Bruce and kneeled down to look at him. It looked bad. Before you could do anything to help, a large shadow appeared over you.

MODOCK: Don't you understand?

You and Kamala looked up to see the Sentry's fist about to smash down. Kamala grew her hands and stopped it while you looked around.

MODOCK: I was supposed to control Terrigen. Replace the superpowered. Instead, I created something...Inhuman!

Kamala: No! This isn't how you make things right! We...we deserve a CHANCE!

MODOCK: I know you think you can use this power for good. But you're no hero.

Y/N: Then I guess it's a good thing I never felt like one.

Your eyes landed on what you were looking for and you went to grab it.

MODOCK: You're just a mistake.

Kamala struggled to hold onto the Sentry's hand as she looked over to the defeated Bruce. She recalled the beginning when it was just the three of you. How he was there. How he cared. Even after everything, he was here. So were you. So was everyone. She wasn't going to give up. And neither were you.

Kamala suddenly found the weight on her lifted when the Sentry was hit by something. Her eyes opened and she watched as Thor's hammer flew around. Her eyes watched it as it flew past her and landed in your hand. You smirked as F/C energy surrounded you.

Y/N: Mistake or not, I'm still here.

You looked at Kamala and smiled.

Y/N: Now, show him why you're a hero.

Kamala smiled and nodded before she turned back to the Sentry.

Kamala: Embiggin!

You watched her grow larger than before. Large enough to stand toe to toe with the Sentry. You smiled as you shot out a line and swung yourself up to rest on her shoulder, Thor's hammer in your hand. Kamala punched the Sentry and you cheered her on. She moved to punch it again but it caught her fist and shoved her aside. She landed on what remained of the Golden Gate Bridge and you gripped the hammer.

You shot out a line as the Sentry grabbed Kamala and slammed her down again. You swung around the two and slammed the hammer on the Sentry's shoulder which caused it to lose it's grip. Kamal got back up and punched the Sentry again as you landed on her shoulder.

Kamala grabbed the Sentry.

MODOCK: I'm the good guy, Kamala!

Kamala: Good isn't a thing you are!

She smashed the Sentry's head between her hands and grabbed it. She turned around and slammed it onto the bridge which implied it.

Kamala: Go get him, Stings.

You smirked as you shot out a line at the Sentry. You landed between its eyes and lifted the hammer. From the sky, lighting struck the hammer and you watched as it slowly turned F/C. You then looked down at the Sentry and slammed the hammer down which shut it off.

Y/N: The hammer is yours, Thor.

You let go of the hammer and it returned to it's rightful owner. You then pulled out your gun and cooked it as you aimed it down through the hole.

MODOCK: You think this will honor your mother's legacy?

Y/N: No. Not hers.

MODOCK: Then whose?!

You smiled.

Y/N: Mine. You say us Inhumans are sick. That we're violent. Well, guess you were right about that second part.

MODOCK: You are a fool.

You looked down at Tarleton and took aim.

Y/N: Yeah, well....Checkmate, Asshole.

You pulled the trigger and the F/C coated bullet soared through the Sentry. Finally, it hit it's target. The gem in MODOCK crooked crown. Now with no power, MODOCK's arms let go and he fell into the sea below. As he fell, he saw something.

He saw your mother standing beside you.

Tarleton: I....I see it now.

He crashed into the radiation filled water as you shook your head. Too much energy used.

Kamala: What is happening?

You turned around as Kamala began to stumble.

Y/N: Kamala?

Kamala: Oh no. No no no. Not again.

She suddenly began to fall back and you rushed forward without a second thought. You leaped off the Sentry and dove for the human sized Kamala. You grabbed her and held her tight as you shot out a line that swung you both back onto the bridge. You tumbled a bit before you came to a stop near the edge.

Kamala was out cold in your arms, and you were right behind her. The last thing you heard was thrusters.

You groaned when you felt yourself wake up. You turned to your side and heard voices. Your head hurt a bit but besides that, well, you were in pain.

Bruce: Hey.

You slowly opened your eyes to see Bruce sitting beside Kamala who was also in a cot.

Kamala: You're alive!

Kamala quickly sat up and looked at the scientist as you laid there and watched. He was okay. Thank God.

Bruce: Take it easy.

You smiled as Bruce place a hand on her shoulder. You then watched as Cap made his way over.

Cap: You got heart, kid. Great job.

You smiled even wider when the others walked over.

Tony: Yeah, we need to work on that....passing out thing. But you did good.

Thor: Indeed.

Natasha: Good? That was badness.

You smiled as you slowly sat up. You sat there quietly as you listened. You looked down and noticed that your hand was now covered in bandages. That's what you got for mixing the God of Thunder's powers with yours.

Bruce: Hey, can you guys give us a moment?

Y/N: Yeah. It's kinda packed in here.

Everyone looked at you as you raised a hand.

Y/N: Plus, too many voices right now.

Everyone smiled and the others headed back to the War Table as you moved to see Kamala and Bruce. Bruce looked up at you and smiled.

Y/N: Glad to see you're alright, Uncle Bruce.

Bruce: Likewise, Y/N.

You smiled and looked at Kamala.

Y/N: And I do believe that you have something you need to tell me once all of this is over.

You winked at her and walked over to the others.

Bruce: Wait.

You stopped and looked at Bruce.

Bruce: This goes for you too. Have a seat.

You stood there for a second before you walked over and sat next to Kamala. Once you were situated, you found her hand bumping into yours. You smiled and held hers as Bruce sighed.

Bruce: You know, this whole time I thought I was mentoring you. I'd given up. And, I guess what I'm trying to say is...thank you.

You looked at him and nodded. Kamala smiled and thought of something.

Kamala: Can I ask you for a favor?

Bruce nodded.

Kamala: I..uh...I need to talk to Y/N first but after that....can you cover for me? My dad is probably freaking out.

Bruce smiled.

Bruce: Of course. So, uh, I think I should....find something else to do. I'll keep everyone away.

He winked at the two of you and headed off. You sat there in silence for a moment before you looked to Kamala.

Y/N: I know a place we can talk.

You both stood next to each other in the hanger of the Chimera as you watched the clouds.

Y/N: So, it's all over, huh?

Kamala: Yeah. But, we're still Avengers. We'll still go on missions and oh my gosh it just hit me that I'm a super hero.

You smirked as you nudged her.

Y/N: Yeah. You're pretty...Magnificent.

Kamala looked at you and smiled.

Kamala: And you're Legendary.

You gave it some thought before you smiled.

Y/N: The Legendary Leviathan. I like the ring to that.

Kamala: The Magnificent Ms. Marvel. Kinda fits, don't you think?

You nodded.

Y/N: Yeah. I guess so.

You both returned to silence before you cleared your throat.

Y/N: Look, before you tell me what you need to tell me, can I tell you something?

Kamala nodded.

Y/N: This isn't easy cause I'm not very good at my emotions or anything. I'm still working on it. But, um....

You took a deep breath as the events from the last two weeks flashed through your mind.

Y/N: Thank you so much.

Kamala looked at you to see a tear rolling down your cheek. But, you were smiling.

Y/N: Thank you for giving me my family back.

Kamala gently grabbed your hand.

Kamala: You know, I told you that I'd make you cry tears of joy.

You both laughed as tears contiued to fall from your eyes.

Y/N: That you did.

You both looked at each other as you smiled. Kamala then took a deep breath.

Kamala: Okay. My turn.

You nodded.

Kamala: I....I'm just going to come out with it, okay?

You raised a brow and turned so that you were fully facing her. Kamala hyped herself up before she closed her eyes and let out a breath. She then opened her eyes and looked up at you.

Kamala: These last few weeks have been some of the best in my life. Not because I got to do cool things, but because I got to do them with you. You were with me from the start and you kept your word. You stumbled but you got back up and helped me. You've done so much for me.

Y/N: Kamala...

Kamala: So, I'm just going to say it and I hope this doesn't go bad. Y/N....I love you.

You could swear that your heart skipped a beat at her words. You looked down at the shorter girl and smiled.

Y/N: Okay.

Kamala looked at you confused.

Kamala: Okay?

You smiled wider as you leaned down and did something that you have been dying to do for a while now. You kissed her. Kamala was caught off guard at first but soon, she was returning the action. The two of you stood there in front of the sunrise as you shared your special moment.

You separated and looked at her.

Y/N: I love you too.

Kamala: <Awkard laugh> O-Okay.

You laughed a bit before you both heard something from the hanger. You both turned to see Thor awkwardly standing there next to a tipped over bucket.

Thor: Uh.....oops?

Natasha: Damnit, Thor!

Cap: To be fair, all of us are trying to squeeze behind this thing.

Tony: Don't rat the rest of us out.

Bruce: I shouldn't have said anything.

You and Kamala stood there with opened mouths before you pieced it together.

Y/N: Really?!

You heard a collective sigh and all the Avengers stepped out from behind the crates they were hiding behind. Kamala went complete red in the face as your crossed your arms.

Y/N: You have got to be kidding me.

Natasha: Sorry! It's just...

Tony: We've been waiting for this and we were going to see it, God damnit!

Cap: Tony...

Tony: It's been a will they won't they for God knows how long, Steve!

Cap shook his head and turned back to the two of you.

Cap: Congratulations on your new relationship. I'm oozing forward to seeing it blossom.

Thor: As am I.

Bruce: Uh, yeah. Me too?

You just sighed.

Y/N: Typical, embarrassing family.

But it was yours.

And you wouldn't trade it for the world.
