Thor flew up into the sky before he was hovering over the Chimera. His eyes glowed a bright blue as lighting began to surround him.

Thor: You should know, I am not in the best mood!

He slammed down onto the ship where he destroyed the drilling Dreadnought. He slowly stood up and groaned. It has been a while.

Kamala: Wait, is that, Thor?!

Tony: Holy crap, Thor! Where have you been?

Thor leaped into the fight where he began to smash any bot or soldier in his way.

Thor: I was serving the commoners when it began to rain metal from the sky.

Natasha: It's unbelievably good to see you.

Tony: Bit dramatic, don't you think?

Natasha: Doesn't matter. He's here now.

As Thor helped deal with the drilling bots, you made your way to Kraken. Your coms were damaged so you couldn't hear anything. You had no idea where all this lighting came from, but you honestly didn't care. You reached out your hand and recalled your ax as you stood across from Kraken.

Kraken didn't say a thing. They just looked over to their right.

Kraken: That's where it happened, isn't it?

You looked to where they were looking. Where Hailey was hurt. Where you failed.

Kraken: Seems fitting that you die here as well.

The pulled out their blade and held it up. You did the same with your ax. Without a word, the two of you lunged at each other. Your blades clashed just as lighting struck.

Thor destroyed another dreadnought with the help of Tony.

Tarleton: So, the false god returns. Why? You did what you were supposed to do, Thor. You gave up your power. You should've stayed forgotten.

Thor: Never when mortal are in peril. Where do you hide, Doctor. Can you not face me?

Tarleton: Look around. I'm everywhere.

Thor flew up and spotted Hilk who was smashing a mech.

Thor: Oh, hello.

Hulk turned and spotted Thor. He then grabbed the mech and threw it at the God of Thunder who simply moved out of the way.

Thor: Just like old times. Seems he missed me as well.

Natasha: AIM dropships inbound.

Thor spotted them.

Thor: I see them.

Natasha: Focus on those mechs. Kamala, you alright?

Kamala: Yep.....nope. There's a lot of them.

Tony: Wait, isn't Y/N with you?

Kamala threw a bot to the side. She scanned the area, but she still couldn't find you.

Kamala: No. Kraken showed up and now he's fighting them. I, I can't find him.

Tony stopped mid flight and looked around.

Tony: What do you mean you can't find him?

Thor: Y/N? Is young Y/N here?

Kamala: Can someone please help him?!

Tony: Calm down. I'll look for him but dealing with these dreadnoughts is first priority. Natasha, go help the kid.

Natasha: On my way. Hulk, you got this?

Hulk: <Roar!>

Tony flew across the deck in search of you. Meanwhile, Thor and Hulk worked together to deal with the dreadnoughts while Natasha headed to Kamala's location.

You blocked another one of Kraken's attacks before you kicked them away. You then threw your ax which they blocked before you recalled it. They leaped at you but you managed to block their attack again.

They were faster than you. A bit stronger too. But, you were an Inhuman.

Sparks began to dance around the ax before you released a powerful burst of energy that sent Kraken staggering backwards. You then coated your fist with the sparks and slammed it right into Kraken's gut before you sent them flying with your ax.

Tony finally spotted your but got an alert on his feed. AIM was attacking the engine room. Not good.

Tony: Kamala, Natasha, I need you two in the engine room. I found the kid and Kraken.

Kamala: Help him.

Tony: I will. Take care of those AIM jerks down below.

Natasha: On it.

Tony landed beside you as you held your ax.

Tony: There you are. Everyone was worried sick.

Y/N: Stay out of this, Tony.

You stepped forward but Tony grabbed your shoulder. You shrugged it off just as Kraken got back up.

Kraken: That was a mistake y0u fool.

While their suit was messing up with the voice modifier, you managed to catch a female's voice. So, Kraken was a girl, then.

Tony: Kid, let me help.

Y/N: She's mine!

You charged forward and clashed blades with Kraken again. You kicked her backwards and charged forward again. She blocked your attack and sliced your chest before she sliced your arm again. She kicked you which caused your to stagger a bit. It was still enough for her to grab you and throw you onto the deck.

Tony flew in and tackled Kraken to the floor. He fired off a blast which hit her and gave you the chance to recover.

Tony: Kid, you're going to get your ass kicked. Let me help.

Y/N: Fine!

You activated your sparks and gripped your ax again. You leaped forward but the entire ship shifted and began to lose altitude. You managed to catch your footing just as Kraken lunged at you. You acted quickly.

You lifted your ax and hit her helmet on the backside of the blade. Kraken went rolling away, while her helmet flew off. You and Tony stood there as she slowly got back up. White hair now flowed freely in the wind. She slowly turned around, and Tony's eyes went wide. Even now, he knew exactly who she was.

Her mother's eyes gave it away.

Tony: N-Nikki?

You looked at him confused. Who was Nikki?

Y/N: You know her?

Tony looked at you and back at Kraken.

Tony: Kid, remember when I said you mom had three kids, that one of them died. Her name was Nicole. We called her, Nikki.

Your eyes grew wide and you looked back at Kraken. At your sister.

Y/N: What? You mean....but you said she died.

Tony: She did. Right before you were born.

Nikki held up her blade and pointed it at you.

Nikki: This isn't over. Face me.

Tony: Kid, what the hell happened to you?

Nikki: What? Why do you talk to me like you know me, Stark?

Tony stepped back and looked at you. You just stood there. For so long, for five years, you thought it was just you and Hailey. This whole time, you never even knew about your other sister.

But here she was.

Alive.

Your enemy.

Nikki: Whatever. None of it will matter once I kill you and take Leviathan in.

Y/N: No. Not gonna happen.

Tony looked at you as you stepped forward. You gripped your ax and held it up.

Y/N: Sister or not, you're not killing anyone. I will take you down.

Nikki grinned, but it quickly faded when her com went off. She growled as she looked back to you and Tony.

Nikki: It's your lucky day. Til next time, Leviathan.

She was suddenly teleported out of your view leaving you and Tony alone. You cried out and slammed your ax into a nearby crate before you punched another.

Tony: How is that, possible? She died. I was there.

Y/N: Yeah, well, she's alive. We can question it later. We need to....we need to get the ship back up. But, how?

Tony looked at you oddly.

Tony: Is your com working?

Y/N: No. Why?

Tony: Thor's here. He can help.

Thor? When the hell did he show up? Tony flew up and towards the action while you looked at your ax. You reached out your arm and pulled it out just as Kamala showed up.

Kamala: Y/N!

She ran to you and hugged you, relieved that you were safe.

Kamala: You're okay!

You returned the hug.

Y/N: Yeah. So are you. Come on. We need to go help the others.

You turned to leave, but Kamala grabbed your hand suddenly.

Kamala: Wait! I...I need to tell you something.

Y/N: Now?

Kamala: I might not be able to later.

You nodded and turned back to her. This was it. She was finally going to say what she held inside right now in case this was it.

Kamala: Y/N, I...

The ship shifted again and began to take a nose dive toward the city. You grabbed Kamala and dug your ax into the ground as the ship began to fall from the sky.

Y/N: What the hell?!

You and Kamala managed to get your footing again but you couldn't hear a damn thing due to the wind. You looked at Kamala and saw that she said something, but you couldn't hear her.

Y/N: What?!

Kamala tapped her ear piece but you pulled it out and showed her that it was broken. She blushed at her unheard words before you spotted Thor flying up.

He held his hammer firmly and lighting hit the thrusters the ship began to lift up enough to get airborne again, but you did hit the top of the Empire State building and totally hit the AIM logo on the old Avenger's tower.

You caught yourself from falling back before you turned to Kamala. The wind was still too much for you to hear anything, so you and her just stood there.

Y/N: I need to go look at the command room.

Kamala: What?!

You just left.

Thor: Have you all completely lost your senses?!

Tony: Ah, the prodigal son returns.

Everyone was gathered around the War Table when Thor walked into the room, clearly angry. You were still MIA in the command room, but Tony told everyone that you needed your space.

Thor: You almost obliterated all of Manhattan!

Natasha: Whoa, "Holier-than-thou", where were you when the world went to hell?!

Thor looked at her.

Thor: Coming to terms with my failings. Not making new ones!

Bruce: Alright, alright, alright...everyone just, take a breath.

The three adults looked at him, rolled their eyes, and returned to their places around the table.

Bruce: We planned on interrupting the AIM Experience. Showing the world what Tarleton was doing. These Adaptoids of his, they harvest their power through torture of these Inhumans.

Natasha: They expose them to near lethal amounts of D.A.R.K Terrigen.

Tony: Yeah, and that is only step one. Georgie is planning a war.

Everyone grew quiet and the doors opened. You stepped in, still in your gear, and stopped when everyone turned to you.

Bruce: And what's worse is, Kamala and Y/N found evidence of what really happened to Steve and Maria.

Thor looked at Kamala who was very much fangirling at the moment of meeting Thor.

Kamala: Hi.

Thor smiled as he remembered her from five years ago.

Thor: "Every hero has to start somewhere".

Kamala: You remember me?!

Thor: Aye.

He then looked back at you as your helmet deactivated. For the first time since AIM's attack, everyone saw your face. You looked sick, and weak.

Thor: Young Y/N. You have grown since we last met.

You just nodded. You were tired. Feedup.

Thor: Show me this footage.

Kamala nodded and walked to the table.

Kamala/Tony: JAR...

The two looked at each other and Tony nodded.

Kamala: JARVIS? Are you done?

JARVIS: I have broken the encrypted so there is more to see.

The hologram switched to show the footage again. This time, there was audio.

Steve: George! We have to shut down the reactor.

Maria: It's pulling us toward that heat signature!

George: I've tried, but there's no way of doing it without damaging the crystal!

Steve and your mom looked at the crystal. Your mom turned to George.

Maria: Then get out of here. And seal that door!

George: What?

Steve: George...go!

You watched this footage with the others. This, this can't be right. There was no way.

Steve: Head to the command deck!

George: What?

Maria: EVACTUATE NOW!

George stumbled back and ran off screen.

Tony: No. No no no, Cap, what are you doing?

Y/N: Mom...

Maria: Steve, if this is really it then I....

Steve: I know. I love you to.

Maria nodded and turned towards the crystal. Her and Steve looked at each other and shared a nod before they charged at the crystal.

George: No! What are you doing?!

Tony: Just stop.

Y/N: What the hell?

George: You'll kill us all!

Cap, your mom, and Tarleton all let out a cry as the screen turned to white.

You all stood there, stunned.

Bruce: Cap and Leviathan smashed the reactor.

Everyone was silent.

Y/N: They....They had to have had a reason. Right?

Bruce: What reason? Hundreds of people were infected. People died, Y/N.

Tony: Just...take it easy.

Bruce turned to Tony, starting to get mad.

Bruce: Take some responsibility, Tony!

Tony: There's the Bruce I know. Thorw everyone under the bus, why don't you?

Natasha: Now's not the time.

Tony shook his head as Natasha stood between him and Bruce.

Tony: No, now is the perfect time, Nat. He's been wanting to do this since Golden Acres, haven't you? Haven't you?

Bruce stayed silent.

Bruce: This is our fault. All of ours. How do you not get that?

Tony: What I get is that you actually believe all the crap you said at the hearing.

Bruce: What I believe is that we're dangerous.

Y/N: stop.

Tony: You really think the world is better off without us?

Bruce: Yes!

Y/N: please, stop.

Natasha shook her head and headed toward the door.

Natasha: I'm outta here.

Thor followed with a laugh.

Thor: You have all not change.

Y/N: don't leave.

Bruce pointed to Kamala who was starting to grow worried.

Bruce: Look at her. She can't be fixed. She can't be cured. Her or Y/N. I ran the tests. I checked their DNA over and over again. You and I created the PERFECT disease.

Y/N: guys....

Tony: No, actually? I do the job. I make the tough decisions.

Bruce: DON'T!

Tony: I stand by the people who made me who I am.

Bruce's eyes began to turn green as you found yourself gripping the front of your jacket. Your breathing was growing ragged and tears began to form in your eyes.

Bruce: I'm warning you.

Tony: What's the matter, Bruce? I'm making you angry?

Bruce began to grow and his clothes began to tear as you placed a hand on the table.

Y/N: someone...

Tony: See. That's your problem. Always running away from who you are. What you are! Maybe that's why Monica got the better of you.

Tony activated his helmet as Hulk let out a roar. Kamala stepped back as you dropped to your knees. You couldn't breathe. You...you couldn't breathe.

Hulk: ROAR!!

Hulk grabbed Tony and slammed him into the railing on the deck.

Tony: Oof! I was just agreeing with you, big guy. That Banner is a coward!

Tony blasted Hulk in the face which caused him to stagger back and drop Tony. You gripped the table as you struggled to breathe. Kamala ran between Hulk and Tony with her hands out.

Kamala: Guys, don't do this! This is exactly what Tarleton wants!

Tony: I'd stay out of this one, kid.

Tony blasted off toward Hulk, but he grabbed a large crate and used it to smack Tony away.

Kamala: No no no!

Tony: You getting old, bud?

Hulk leaped to Tony and began to beat down on Tony.

Tony: Or <hit> are you <hit> just getting <hit> soft?!

Tony reached out his arm and a piece of his Hulkbuster armor connected itself to his hand.

Tony: I'm done being your punching bag.

Tony used the large fist to punch Hulk away. The giant ended up flying through the command deck window where Tony followed. It was just you and Kamala now.

Kamala held her head as she stared at the broken glass. Her attention turned to you just as you fell to the ground while holding your chest. Her eyes went wide and she rushed over to you as you gasped for air.

Kamala: Y/N?!

She sat you up as you tried to calm down. This was too much. Tarleton, your mom, the fighting. It was too much in too short of a time.

Kamala: Breathe. Just, take deep breathes.

You listened to her and slowly began to calm down and catch your breath. You closed your eyes and leaned against the table as the cold wind from outside filled the room.

Kamala: Are you, alright?

Y/N: yes <clear throat> Yeah. I'm...I just needed to....calm down. That hasn't happened in a while.

Kamala helped you to your feet. Together, you both walked over to the command deck window where Hulk and Tony disappeared to.

Kamala: I guess that's it, then. We'll all alone.

JARVIS: Not quite, Ms. Kahn.

Y/N: JARVIS. I'm guessing you can keep this thing in the air?

JARVIS: For quite some time, yes.

That's a relief. You shook your head and headed back down to the lower level. Kamala watched you for a moment.

Kamala: Where are you going?

You stopped and turned around.

Y/N: To my room. I.....I can't do this, Kamala. Not anymore.

Kamala: What?

Y/N: This....all of this....it was never about us. It was never about the Inhumans or what happened on A-Day. Kamala, this, right here, this is the Avengers. A group of people who can't put their differences aside when the world really needs them. This wasn't about helping anyone.

Kamala walked over to you and looked at you confused.

Kamala: Then...what? All that we did, after everything, you don't think that they helped us because it's what they do?

Y/N: Cap and my mom were the only ones who actually gave a shit about innocent lives. Everyone else, this was only about them getting back on their fucking pedestal! They don't give a fuck about us or the other inhumans! If Tarleton never crossed them, they wouldn't even have joined us.

Kamala flinched at you anger but you just throw your hands up and turned away.

Y/N: I'm staying here. Everyone would be better off if I never leave anyway.

Kamala: What? Y/N.....

She quickly placed a hand on your shoulder and stopped you.

Kamala: You don't...you don't really think that, do you?

Y/N: Yeah, I do. Hailey would be able to walk, Nadia wouldn't have been alone, and none of this would've happened. This is all, my fault. I'm not some superhero, Kamala.

Kamala: But you've saved me. More times then I can count. You helped me bring everyone together. W-We did so much in the last two weeks! How can you blame yourself for all the good we did?

Y/N: Good? Good?! Look around, Kamala! The helicarrier is a fucking mess, we almost killed countless innocent lives thanks to a half-assed plan, and no Avenger is left to even save the day! Not that they would anyway! No, they're the Avengers. They don't come in until the damage is done. If they were there before all this shit happened, my mom would still be alive! So, you know what? You're right. It's not my fault. It's theirs!

You shook your head and contiued walking to the rooms. Kamala followed as she tried to reason with you.

Kamala: Y/N, you can't honestly believe that! They're your family.

Y/N: They were. A lot can change in five years.

Kamala: Regardless....

Y/N: Kamala!

She froze when you snapped at her. You took a deep breath and turned to her.

Y/N: Look, I just....I want to be left alone. Sorry, Kamala. I just can't.

Kamala: Y/N....

You turned and left. You entered your room, and locked the door. Kamala stood there, alone, as she slowly raised her hand to her chest. She then whispered what she wanted to say back on the deck.

Kamala: I love you.
