2 hours had gone past and it felt it had been an eternity since the last time Steve has spoke. My mind rushed with possible outcomes of my actions of the past. Did I say something that must've hurt him? I walked out of my room to the living room,since I lived by myself I was only in my bra and pj pants.  As I made it to the living room my eye caught a glance of a head on my couch,like the back of someone's head then the head was no longer there. I watched it as it faded away. Trying to shake it away maybe I was hungry,I was probably hallucinating. But I'm not gonna eat at this hour so I decided to sit on my couch.

Opposite me i can see two green eyes glaring back at me then fading away again. It was dark so that was the only I could see. Relax Valkyrie, your probably tired,  I should probably sleep. i thought to myself.
"Theres no point of doing that darling" a voice spoke. The voice I haven't heard in years. I suddenly see a body figure resting on the couch all dressed in green with black hair resting on his shoulders  "Hello Loki" I said sighing "may I ask why the sudden sigh" he said in a low voice. " well it just so happens that what ever your doing is not working" I responded quietly looking back at him. "And what might be the problem with a friendly visit" he said with a grin

" I appreciate the visit but i don't need any" responding with anger. He walked close to me still sitting down on the couch he tilted my head up staring at his bright eyes which turned blue. "And why's that Barnes" he said with a voice that I'll never forget. "I said stop calling my that,it Valkyrie,Barnes is my last name you Reindeer,you didn't answer my question." I said with even more anger. He tilted his eyebrow up and whispered feeling his faint breathe on my neck. "I found him" a chill ran down my spine. I looked at him again "your joking right?" he shook his head in response. "But how he's dead Loki, there's is no possible way he's alive"

He sat next to me with his head facing the floor "captured" was all he said "captured?, you mean like a back from the dead captured?" Still confused frowned my eyebrows. He nodded his head. " you may of heard of these terms:
"Longing,
rusted,
furnace,
daybreak,
seventeen,
benign,
nine,
homecoming,
one,
freight car."
He said distinctly. "How do you know what they mean?" Almost crying. " I heard a guy saying them when he was captured" he said tapping his knees.
"Since when did you go places" I said sarcastically
"I find my ways Valkyrie" he said angrily. I can't be,I know he's dead, well I didnt see him die but I heard he was dead, It was in the newspapers, in the streets. No there is no way he's alive. "I don't believe you" I said quietly silencing the awkwardness. "Well suit yourself princess" he said standing up "but don't assume that everything I say is right Val" he said confusing me. " your never right loki you always tell lies" he smiled " let me promise you I'm not lying this time" he said leaning to kiss my cheek. "You fool" I said back "well I'm the trickster" he said fading away.shit! Loki's illusions.

I lay back on the couch with my head resting on one of the pillows of the couch. My mind still confused, I thought long enough thinking if I should believe loki. Well if he's alive then proof is what I need to get.

I'm really sorry my stories keep getting short, I'm trying to write longer then usual but I end up writing short stories. So yea hope you enjoy this one it's probably too obvious of who Loki's talking  about.
