Make-ups

Steve:

After I left, Steve immediately felt bad. Truth be told, he had a rough day too. He was hoping to come home and snuggle with me, my positive personality radiating everywhere. So, Steve was upset when he found my curled up form, angry tears threatening to flow out of my eyes.

Steve instantly got defensive, wrongfully taking his anger out on me. And he saw how it didn't end well. After I stormed out, he asked Bucky what he should do.

"Leave her alone for the time being." Bucky said simply. His experience with ladies back in the day had actually come to some use for Steve. Steve knew he had hurt me and made me upset; I was pretty sensitive as is.

Of course, when night time came around and I wasn't home, he began worrying.

where are you?

I looked down at my phone, opening the text.

"Steve?" My friend asked. She leaned over my shoulder, "hmph-ing" to herself.

"Should I reply?" I whispered, looking up at the movie for a split-second.

"Might as well. Don't want him to go all super-hero on us." She mumbled.

I chuckled, nodding.

at y/f/n

I pressed send, leaning my head on Y/F/N shoulder. I began to drift asleep, snuggling against her side.

----

In the morning, I bid Y/F/N goodbye, making my way back to Stark Towers. It was around ten when I arrived, greeting JARVIS happily. I managed to get into the kitchen without seeing Steve, pouring myself a much needed cup of coffee. I lightly sipped it, leaning against the counter.

"Y/N?" Someone whispered. I turned my head to see Steve standing in the doorway.

I nodded, taking another drink of my coffee. Steve walked toward me, his body very close to mine. I looked up through my eyelashes, staring into his eyes with a blank face. He sighed, resting his forehead on mine. An arm sneaked it's way around my waist, but I couldn't find the voice to protest.

"I'm sorry. We both had a bad day and I was an idiot to take mine out on you." Steve whispered, pausing. "Do you want to talk about it?"

I let out a small laugh. "My day? It's a little late for that, Steven." I muttered.

Steve frowned, taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry, doll. I got you these..." He paused, quickly running into another room. He returned with a bouquet of daises and white roses; the same bouquet I received on our first date. I blushed, taking them from him with a smile.

"Thank you, Steve. You didn't have to get me flowers." I whispered, moving closer to him to hug him. I wrapped my arms around him, my stomach doing flips as he scooped me up.

"I barely slept without you, by the way." Steve whispered. I smiled gently, kissing his cheek.

"Well, I'm still tired. You up for some cuddling?"

Steve laughed, pecking my lips. "That's all I ever wanted."

Tony:

Tony didn't realize what he had done wrong until he got home and thought it over. He was too angry about that deal, which, in all honesty, wasn't even that good of a deal. Of course, when he realized that I had indeed been sexually harassed, he was furious for not stopping it earlier. If a guy even looked at me with the smallest bit of lust in his eyes, Tony was on him in a second.

The first thing Tony did was call and text me a billion times. I didn't answer. I had turned off my phone, because at the moment, I was crying on Natasha's shoulder at SHIELD. I knew she had been training and called her, sobbing, pleading for her to come pick me up.

"Honestly, Tony can be so delusional sometimes." Natasha muttered. She had offered to cut off his balls, but I insisted it wasn't necessary. All I wanted was someone to cry on, and she happily provided that for me.

"You can stay the night." Nat offered. "Fury wouldn't mind."

"Then Tony'll worry and have the whole city on a lookout for me. It's best if I just go home." I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

She nodded, giving me a hug before sending me on my way.

I arrived home fairly quickly; Nat likes to speed. She gave me a worrying glance that I responded with a raise eyebrow.

"It's Tony, Nat. I got this." I winked, walking inside. JARVIS greeted me, informing me Tony was in the living room. I walked in, setting my bag down, going straight to my room. I knew Tony's eyes were following me, but I couldn't find the courage to look back.

A small knock on my door caused me to jerk my head up. I stood, slowly shuffling toward the door.

I hesitantly reached for the knob, twisting it and opening the door enough, just so he could see my face.

"Can we talk?" He asked, his expression easily letting me know he was just as upset as I was. Tony was normally amazing with girls.... in bed. He wasn't used to an actual relationship; he was getting used to things.

I nodded shortly, stepping out from the door and shutting it behind me.

"I know I'm an asshole, firstly." Tony mumbled. "I was too busy with that stupid deal... it wasn't worth it, fighting with you, it sucks. I also want to say sorry about those perverts. If I had seen it, Y/N, they wouldn't have gotten far. I love you, baby. I don't want anything to hurt you."

I sighed, a small smile on my lips. I searched his eyes for something... and all I found was sadness. I walked toward him, wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him toward me. He let out a sight of relief, holding me tight in his arms.

Though I was originally pretty upset, I realized there were worse things that we could be fighting over.

Tony pressed a kiss to my temple, leading me back into my room. We snuggled up together, falling asleep in each others arms.

Bruce:

Maybe I had overreacted, but I allowed myself to be upset just this once. Bruce and I hadn't spoken since I burst out of his lab, but I was about to change that. The silent treatment wasn't my thing.

"Bruce?" I called out, sticking my head in Tony and Bruce's lab.

"He's in his room!" Tony called back. I nodded to myself, speed-walking to Bruce's room. I didn't bother to knock; I walked straight in. No point in hesitating.

"Bruce?" I muttered.

He was laying in bed, a book on his chest. He peeked behind the cover, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh... hey?" He asked cautiously.

"I'm not here to yell at you, if that's what you're worried about." I mumbled, sitting on the edge of his bed. "I just want to talk."

Bruce nodded, sitting up and setting the book on his nightstand.

"I reacted like a kid yesterday, so I want to discuss it as an actual adult, now." I laughed quietly. "I just miss you. I feel like you spend a lot of time with your work, and I understand you love it. I just wish I didn't feel like I was second to it."

I looked up slowly to see Bruce's reaction. He seemed upset, almost angry with himself. We sat in silence until he pulled me into his chest, kissing my head.

"You don't come second to science, at least not in my books. I'm sorry you feel that way, honey. I promise I'll try and spend more time with you." He whispered.

"Maybe you could show me some of your sciency stuff." I giggled. "It's the best of both World's."

Thor:

Everyone knew Thor loved Loki, and they accepted he would never really reprimand Loki for New York. Even I accepted it. But when it came to the point where I came second to his murderous, psycho half-brother, well.... it was enough.

I probably shouldn't have yelled and stormed out. I could have just stayed and worked it out, but I needed to cool off. So, I called up my sister, and we went out for dinner. It was nice; I hadn't gotten to see her for a while, and it was nice to talk... well, rant.

I had gone home after dinner, dropping my purse in the kitchen and grabbing a glass of water.

I heard two voices come closer, and turned my head to eavesdrop.

"She seemed very upset. Now, I'm not sure where she is." Thor spoke. "Do you think she shall return?"

I heard another voice sigh. Loki.

"She is simply upset, Thor. You do speak of me a lot. I know I am not liked. Show her you love her."

I blinked, raising an eyebrow to myself. I did not see that coming. There was more whispered before Thor entered, surprised at the least to see me.

"Y/N?" He questioned, walking toward me.

I offered a smile, sipping my water. I set it down, placing a hand on my hip, the other relaxing at my side. Thor walked closer to me, taking my small, fragile hands in his large, rough ones.

"I want to apologize about yesterday. I was foolish and selfish. Please forgive me, my dear."

"I didn't realize Loki was that good of an advice-giver." I teased, giving him a wink. Thor blushed, looking guilty. "I'm teasing, sweetheart. I forgive you. Just don't yell at me, okay?"

Thor nodded, pecking my cheek. We walked hand-in-hand, passing Loki. I turned behind my shoulder, smiling and sending Loki a wink. Loki smirked, turning to return to his room. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.

Clint:

After what I had said and left, Clint had thought it all over. The last thing he wanted was our relationship to end. So, he set out to make things right. The first thing he did was cancel the mission he was supposed to go on. That was a start.

The second thing he did was find me; that was a key element in his apology. It wasn't hard; he found me at my friends house. The drive home was awkward and quiet. I continued to look out the window, not speaking one word to him as I got out. I was still processing the fight, even though it wasn't all that bad.

"Y/N." Clint called out. I turned around, resting my back against the door. I sighed nervously, raising an eyebrow.

"What?"

"How am I supposed to apologize if you just run away?"

I gave him an unamused expression. He held his hands up in surrender, walking toward me.

"Alright, sorry, sorry." Clint paused, walking a few more steps to reach me. "Listen. The last thing I want is to end this relationship because I'm an idiot. I didn't realize you missed me. I'm not good at this, y'know."

I raised my eyebrows. "Really? You have me pretty convinced."

Clint chuckled, stuffing his face in my chest. I rubbed his head comfortingly.

"And, baby?" I asked.

"Mhm?"

"You better have canceled that damn mission."

Natasha:

It didn't take me long to realize Natasha was simply jealous and missed me. I let her relax and sleep over her anger. In the morning, I made us breakfast, creeping into our room and setting our food on the nightstand. I kneeled on the bed, shaking her lightly.

"Nat... babe, wake up."

She groaned, turning so her back was facing me.

"I made us breakfast." I whispered. She groaned again, sitting up. Her fiery hair was everywhere, yet still elegantly framing her face. Natasha gave me a small smile, happily accepting the eggs on toast. I watched her for a few moments, thinking how to bring up the fight.

"Are you mad at me?" I muttered, taking a bite of egg.

She remained silent, looking at her plate.

"No." She whispered. "I was just looking forward to seeing you. And then you went out with another girl, and-"

"Nat, you're the only girl I'll ever need in life. You know I love you, and besides. If you're ever lonely, just tell me. I'll be at your side in a second."

Nat smiled, blushing as I pecked her cheek.

"That was easy." I thought.

Bucky:

Steve had heard us fighting the minute he woke up. Once he heard me slam the door and leave, he emerged from his room to help Bucky.

Bucky was a mess. He instantly fell terrible and thought I had left him for good. He was crying when Steve saw him.

"She's going to leave me. I'm an idiot." Bucky muttered.

"No she isn't." Steve smiled sadly, wrapping an arm around Bucky's shoulder.

"I yelled at her. She hates that! Y/N was only trying to help... and..."

"Buck, it's alright. I'll call her, ok?"

Bucky managed a nod, staring at his feet in shame.

Steve had called me, and I answered with a bit of hesitation.

"Hello?"

"You alright?" Steve asked.

I sighed. "I guess."

"Bucky is a sobbing mess, Y/N."

My stomach dropped. He was crying, over me? I felt tears of my own start to show.

"Why?" My voice cracked.

"He thinks you're leaving for good. Can you just come back, if you aren't too upset? I hate seeing you guys like this."

I smiled at Steve's concern. "Yeah. Alright, I'll be there soon."

I hadn't gone far. I just took a walk around the block to cool off. It took me a few minutes to get home. When I did, the first thing I saw was Bucky slumped over on the couch, Steve whispering to him.

"C'mon, Winter. You think you can get rid of me that easily?" I said quietly, a nervous smile painting my lips.

Bucky looked up quickly, standing in less than a second. He immediately reacted; pulling me into his chest.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He whispered.

"Shh." I hushed him, rubbing his back soothingly. "Baby, it's ok. I'm not leaving you. I just don't like when you yell at me, that's all."

"I'm sorry." Bucky repeated. I peeled away, looking in his eyes.

"Hey, look at me." I spoke softly. "I love you, James. It's alright."

Bucky smiled sadly, nodding his head. "I love you too."

"Now gimme a kiss, ya' goof." I giggled.

Loki:

It didn't take long for Loki to chase after me.

"What point of leave me alone don't you get?!" I screamed.

Loki opened my door, busting in.

"Get out!" I sobbed, grabbing my pillow to chuck at him. He easily dodged it, walking toward me with caution.

"Just... get out." I mumbled, my argument weak. Loki watched as I slumped over, sobbing loudly.

"Y/N..." He whispered, kneeling in front of me. "My love, look at me." His voice was quiet and soothing; I couldn't help but look up into his emerald eyes.

"What? Come to yell at me some more?" I retorted, though my voice was quiet and un-intimidating.

"Quite the opposite, darling." Loki smiled softly. "I've come to apologize. I was wrong to yell at you. I suppose I am just a bit upset."

"I'm sorry for not listening to you rant. I know I do it too." I whispered back. I leaned in, pecking his lips. Loki hummed in approval, smiling against my lips.

"Is this fight settled, my love?"

I giggled, resting my forehead on his. "Yeah, silly."
