Imagine 59: Bucky

A/N: dedicated to @jetblaack hope you enjoy girl! sorry its so late!

I leaned against Tony's shoulder, giggling and snorting a bit. I'd be lying if I said I took alcohol well; I did the complete opposite. After two shots, I was tipsy. Another two drinks, I was drunk.

Tony thought it was hilarious. We were on the same number of drinks, yet he was only slightly buzzed.

"C'mon, let's get another drink for the lady!" Tony called out, gently clapping my shoulder blade. I cheered drunkenly, throwing my head back with a laugh.

Tony laughed and took my drink from the bartender, sliding my way. I sloppily grabbed it from Tony, some of the contents spilling from the sides of the glass.

"Easy there, sweet cheeks." Tony chuckled, steadying my hold.

"Tony, maybe that's enough for her." A new voice said sternly. I turned around, my eyes slowly trailing up a very toned chest.

"Bucky!!" I squealed, lazily throwing my arms around him. "That's a... a very tight t-shirt." I murmured, one of my fingers drawing circles on his shoulder.

He chuckled and helped me to my feet, glaring at Tony. I snorted a laugh, a childish grin painting my face.

"Yeah, y-you tell him!!" I giggled, praising Bucky. I watched Tony scoff and down my margarita, turning back to the bartender. Bucky sighed sadly, pulling me along.

"C'mon, doll." He frowned. I scoffed, my intoxicated mind quickly changing emotions.

"Get your hands off of me!!" I squealed, shoving him away.

I pressed my hands against his chest, falling backwards. I scraped my elbow, pouting as blood prickled on my skin. I whimpered, my teary eyes meeting Bucky's.

"Ow." I murmured. "I cut myself." I informed Bucky, as if he already didn't see me fall and scrape myself.

"I saw, are you alright?" Bucky kneeled down in front of me, reaching his hand out. "Can I see it?"

I hesitantly stuck my elbow out, biting my lip. The pain diminished my drunken demeanor, though it wasn't completely gone.

"Hmm..." Bucky said quietly, holding my arm lightly. "I can fix this. C'mon, Y/N, let's get you back home and I'll help you."

I nodded, standing, mumbling a thank-you as Bucky helped me stumble to a taxi. The driver chuckled as I stumbled into the car, falling onto Bucky's shoulder.

"Where to, buddy?"

"Stark Towers- Y/N, c'mon, doll. Stark Towers, please."

The driver, an older man, smiled and nodded, starting the car.

I groaned as Bucky did my seat-belt for me, as I was obviously not in the right state of mind to do it myself. My head lulled to the side, falling on Bucky's shoulder.

"You're so..." I paused, hiccuping. "You're really handsome."

Bucky laughed shyly, shaking his head. "Thank you, Y/N."

I whined, furrowing my eyebrows. "Am I not beautiful?!" I cried out, resulting in a laugh from both the driver and Bucky.

"Doll, you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

I giggled, smiling proudly with a knowing "hmph".

"Here we are. Have a nice night, you two." I heard the driver speak.

Bucky thanked him, unbuckling my seat-belt. I whimpered as Bucky got out of the car, moving to my side.

"C'mon, let's get you inside and treat that arm." He cooed, gently pulling me out of the car. He paid the driver and helped me back inside, leading me to the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet lid, swinging my feet. After lightly washing my cut with water, Bucky grabbed a bottle of peroxide, a box of band-aids and a small packet of anti-infection cream.

"Can I see your arm?" He asked. I nodded, extending my arm slightly.

Bucky sent me a reassuring smile, taking a cotton ball and dabbing peroxide on it.

"This may hurt a bit, ok?"

I nodded and allowed him to press to the cotton ball to my cut. After a few moments, it stung like hell.

"Ooow!" I screeched, pulling my arm away from him.

"I'm sorry. Here, let me put a band-aid on it for you, alright? So the bleeding will stop?"

My now-tipsy state of my skeptically handed over my arm, allowing Bucky to stick the band-aid on my elbow. I sighed happily, looking up Bucky with a smile.

"Thank you."  I mumbled, growing tired. My eyes fluttered shut, and the next thing I knew, I was awake in my bed, a raging headache pounding in my temples.

I sat up, looking around the room.

On my coffee table sat a glass of water, pain killers and little slip of paper. I greedily chugged the water after taking the medicine, un-folding the note.

y/n,

hope you're feeling better. you were pretty drunk last night. thanks for calling me, and i quote, "very handsome." i also didn't know you liked my tight t-shirts, but i'll make sure to wear them more often.

sincerely, bucky

I groaned crumpling the note up. My cheeks burned with embarrassment. I made a metal note to never drink with Tony again, and walked out into the living room for some breakfast.

Bucky sat at the island, absentmindedly sipping some water. Before he noticed me, I spun on my heel and made a bee-line for my room.

"Hey, Y/N." He called out. I swore to myself, turning around.

"Morning." I winced as I spoke, sighing in pain. "Thanks for the ibuprofen, by the way."

Bucky chuckled and stood, stretching his back before standing in front of me.

"Even when you're hungover, you're still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

I blushed. "Even when you're being a sarcastic asshole, you're still very handsome." I teased, rolling my eyes.

"You feelin' alright?"

I shrugged, walking over to the couch. I fell on my back, arms draped on my stomach. "Better. I took the medicine so I should be good soon."

Bucky sat by my feet on the floor, his head falling onto my ankles. "Remind me to never drink again. Especially around you, or with Tony."

Bucky raised his eyebrows, a knee-weakening smirk on his face. "And why's that?"

"Cause Tony doesn't-"

"No, I meant me." He interrupted.

"Because if its anything like last night, I'll only embarrass myself even more."

Bucky laughed, patting my knee. "It was adorable. I learned a few things, anyway."

"God, I didn't slip about my crush on him, did I?" I asked myself, mentally face-palming.

"Like what?" I asked innocently, turning my head to the side.

Bucky moved so he was kneeling in front of me, arms crossed in front of my face. "I learned that I need to man-up and tell you how much I really like you."

My eyes widened, a blush basically slapping me across the face. I sat up slowly, tilting my head to the side. "Oh, wow, uhm.." I paused, pursing my lips. "I feel the same way."

Bucky grinned and took my hands in his, laughing happily. "So it wasn't just the alcohol talking? You really do think I'm handsome?" He joked.

I laughed, stretching my back. "No, you idiot."

I slanted my head forward a bit, softly and shyly connecting our lips together. Bucky quickly recuperated, one hand resting on my knee, the other around my neck.

I hummed softly, pulling away and resting my head on his shoulder. Our arms wrapped around each other, snuggling together closely. The warmth radiating from Bucky's body lulled me softly, a comforting feeling I could definitely get used to.
