The Eiffle Tower

Anna: Paris is so amazing.

Loki: It truly is. The music, the scenery, the culture is simply beautiful. Yet none of it compares to your magnificence.

Anna: Thank you... I... How do you reply to such romantic things like that?

Loki: There's no need to, Anna.

Anna: Okay, can I just say something crazy?

Loki: Um, alright, sure.

Anna: All my life I've been afraid of heartbreak, and then suddenly, I meet you.

Loki: I'm sorry, Anna. I really don't know what is happening right now, though.

Anna: We're doing a musical.

Loki: I guess I'll let my Pirate Fairy show. Ahem...

I was thinking the same thing, because

All my life I've been called a disgrace and maybe it's the Paris talking, or the fact I love you,

Anna: Oh my gosh, you love me?

Loki: Of course I do.

Anna: I-I love you, too. I mean we should really talk, but with you!

Anna:I mean it's crazy!

Loki: What?

Anna: We were both-

Loki: Adopted!

Anna: That's what I was going to say! I've never met someone who would do a musical with me!

Loki: What rhyme's with jinx?

Anna: I have no idea...

Loki: Our vocal synchronization!

Anna: Can have but one explanation!

Loki: You-

Anna: And I-

Both: Have had experience singing!

Anna: Say goodbye!

Loki: Say goodbye!

Both: To our mistakes of the past! We don't need to kill anymore!

Loki: Wait, you killed someone?

Anna: Well... yeah, I-I didn't mean to. It was an accident.

Loki: No, it's fine, Anna. I have killed hundreds of people. Only on purpose.

Anna: Cool, cool...

Loki: With you!

Loki: Can I just say something crazy?

Anna: Of course!

Loki: Can we please never do that again? It's nothing personal... It's just you kind of froze... The Eiffel Tower and everyone on it.

Anna's eyes widened as she observed her surroundings, coming to the realization that as she was singing she had unintentionally froze the iconic tower, including every being who stood upon it- with the exception of her and Loki. She looked at Loki, awe-struck, seeing him for the first time blue... with indentations across his forehead and cheeks- in a abstract design. His eyes were no longer green but a shade of red, or orange perhaps. She shook her head, for his appearance was the least of her concern. For Odin's sake she froze the damn Eiffel Tower.

Anna: I did? Oh, I did. No... no no...

Loki: It is going to be fine, Anna. Just reverse the conjuration and everything will be fine.

Anna: But I-I can't.

Loki: Yes you can, just focus.

Anna: I never knew how to- what if I hurt you?

Loki: Anna, please calm down.

Suddenly a man appeared, wearing a French police uniform. He held his gun up at the couple, his hands slightly shaking. He spoke loudly, but his confidence didn't quite go with the volume of his voice.

Officer: Halt! You are- Wait, why are you blue?

Loki: I got caught up in the song and- that is none of your concern! Who are you?

Officer: I am an officer of Paris Police Department, there have been reports of some freaky mumbo jumbo up here and... yeah, I'm going to have to take you in.

Anna: No, you can't! This is our first date, this- this is supposed to be perfect!

Loki: Anna, let me handle this. Sir, you see my girlfriend and I were performing a musical and in the moment we accidentally froze the Eiffel Tower, I can assure you no harm was intended. If you could please just let us reverse-

Officer: How the hell did you freeze the Eiffel Tower?

Anna: In an accident when I was younger, I grew up in an orphanage and in an attempt to-

Officer: *into police device thingy* We're going to need back up...

Loki: SHUT UP YOU PATHETIC MORTAL AND STOP INTERRUPTING US! Now, Anna, please unfreeze everything before we get into a bigger confrontation with all of Paris.

Anna nodded, gazed down upon her pale hands. She closed her eyes, and after a moment of hesitation, the ice slowly thawed. The citizens who were paralyzed by the frost were released. And now, everyone was staring with fear and confusion at Anna and Loki. Anna's eyes cast down at the floor, feeling shame and guilt. As almost as if reading her mind, Loki gently placed his arm around Anna.

Loki: Anna, do not be ashamed, you did it. It's okay now. And you sing lovely by the way. I don't mean to come across as arrogant but I do believe that I was very well at performing, too. That note, where we sang "door" in the chorus, I do think that if we-

Anna: Loki, don't you see the way they're looking at us? It's like having these powers just makes me a monster.

Loki: Anna, you're-

Officer: Two random strangers, at this time, I'm placing you under arrest for... sorcery? I don't know what the heck went down but I am very sure that it's illegal. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, however, if you cannot afford an attorney one will be provided for you by the state. Do you understand?

Two officers handcuffed Anna and Loki and escorted them down the tower.

Loki: I don't suppose I should attempt to kill you now...

Officer: Nope.

Anna: And freezing you wouldn't be a great idea, either?

Officer: Probably not, ma'am.

Anna: I've never really been to big on great ideas, you know.

Loki: Neither have I.

Officer: Cap.
