Twins (Thor) Part 2
Twins (Thor) Part 2
You don't remember much from when you landed in front of Heimdall back on Asgard. There were flashes of memories, like Heimdall calling for guards to come and retrieve you and bring you to the healers. In any other circumstance you could heal yourself just fine, but you were drained of energy from battle and being transported across the rainbow bridge.
Now, however, you were regaining your energy and consciousness. As you opened your eyes you saw that you were in the healers room in one of the recovery beds. Heimdall stayed true to his word, which was no surprise. There was a brief thought of why you weren't in your own room to recover, but that thought was thrown out of your mind when you saw Odin sitting at your bedside.
"Father? What are you doing here?" you asked, immensely confused. Unknown to you, he had been by your side ever since the guards placed you in the bed to be healed, leaving once and only once.
He looked caught off guard when you called him out, but recovered. You watched as he looked around the room and looked to see what he was looking at. You caught sight of some guards in the room with you two.
"Give us the room," Odin commanded to the guards. "No one is to enter, either." There was no hesitation from the guards. They simply nodded and left the room.
Now you were even more confused. This was not the same man that you left behind years ago. "Father, what is wrong?" you asked. The curiosity was killing you.
After another look around the room from Odin, he looked back at you and sighed. Right as you were about to ask another question, a green shimmer surrounded Odin and revealed the brother you had been mourning for over a year.
"Loki?" you asked, your voice quiet and shaking from the shock. He looked at you and gave you a genuine smile, one you don't remember the last time you saw. "Oh my gods!"
You sat up from the bed quickly and brought your arms around Loki, him doing the same. The two of you got along so well when you were younger and it was the worst feeling in the world hearing about the path he had gone down, ending in his death.
But now your younger brother was alive and in front of you. You certainly weren't prepared to wake up to this surprise.
Just as quickly as the happiness came, the betrayal came soon after. You pulled out of the hug and started hitting his arm. "How could you do that to me!" you yelled in between hits through gritted teeth.
"Ow, ow, okay I get it!" Loki said while grabbing your hands to stop the hitting. You huffed and took your hands back so you could cross your arms. "I'm sorry I lied to you about dying... twice, actually."
You rolled your eyes. "Do you know how horrible I felt when I heard you had died fighting the Dark Elves and I hadn't gotten a chance to speak to you since... since the day the Bifrost was destroyed..." you shook your head in anger and pushed away any tears that dared drip down your cheeks.
Loki knew you too well, however, and knew you were just trying to be angry to shut out the sadness. He pulled you into another hug and whispered, "I missed you, too, (Y/n)." Even though he was the youngest, he sometimes acted like an older brother when Thor was out doing god knows what (yes, technically Thor was a few minutes older).
That made you think. "Wait," you said and pulled out of the hug. Loki sat down next to you and listened. "Has Thor been alerted to what's happened to me? I hope he's not thinking I'm dead or anything..."
You looked and saw Loki nod his head. "Yes, he came not too long ago to update me- well, Odin, on the situation and mentioned he couldn't find you and assumed you had passed. At first I wanted to make him think you were dead as a lovely jest, but then realized that isn't what our dear Odin would do, so I told him the truth."
You let out a sigh. "Good. I'm glad he knows I'm not dead any longer," you said.
Even though you hadn't said anything about it, Loki knew you well. "He's here if you'd like to visit with him?" he offered. You nodded and the two of you stood.
Loki had some green magic surround him again and soon you were staring at the face of you fatter instead of your 'late' brother. He started to walk out, but then stopped and turned to you.
"If you decide to go back to Midgard or go out and keep fighting, I won't stop you," he said. You chose not to respond and let 'Odin' leave the room.

A knock at the door startled Thor from his thoughts. "Come in!" he called from where he was seated on his bed and staring out of his bedroom window.
He looked over at the door as it opened and a smile spread across his face when you entered, a smile already on yours. "(Y/n)!" He got up from his bed and hurried over to pull you into a bone crushing hug. "My gods I thought you had died when the floating land was obliterated!" he yelled happily.
After another few seconds of hugs, the two of you separated and Thor explained what had happened to you. Everyone, other than the valiant warrior, had gotten through the fight. A lone Ultron variant had caused the land to start dropping early and Thor had to act quick.
"I feel shame that I nearly killed you," he finished and you gave him a small smile. "Father told me you were alive and recovering, and that it'd be best if I leave you to regain your strength."
You wanted to laugh when he said 'Father' but knew this wasn't the time. Thor deserved to know that it was truly Loki on the throne, but that was for Loki to tell, not you. Yes, he was your twin, but you weren't really ready for Thor to go and attack Loki for his lies right now.
"Well you don't need to feel so shameful for this, for it wasn't your fault. I wouldn't blame you if it was anyway," you said. Thor smiled and was grateful at your words.
The two of you sat in a comfortable silence for a moment while you pushed back the urge to ask him how Nat was doing. That woman had really made quite an impression on you, something that wasn't very common.
Just like Loki, Thor knew you what you wanted to ask without you saying a word. "Lady Natasha is wonderful, and was very upset when you went missing after the debris cleared," he said.
You nodded and felt a pang in your heart. "Have you returned to Midgard at all since coming back here?" you asked, curious to see if she knew the truth.
Thor shook his head. "I have not. I wanted to see you before I left Asgard again," he explained.
The way he phrased that left you to believe that he wasn't going right back down to Midgard. "So what's next for you then?" you asked him.
He sighed and looked out his window. "My path could go many directions. I don't believe the throne is for me any time soon, but I might go around the realms... do whatever I need to, you know? Close to what you were doing before we had located the scepter."
As he spoke, you nodded, and wondered what was next for you. Ever since Loki first 'died' you had been fighting around the realms to try and keep peace, but it was only an escape. It was an escape from the truth. It remained that until you went to retrieve the scepter.
Now, Loki was alive and the scepter no longer existed. Thor was going to go out and fight the battles you had been fighting. Where did that leave you? You could go with Thor. He's your twin and you couldn't just walk away from him again.
But that wasn't the life you wanted.
"Thor," you said suddenly. He turned to you with a 'hm' and waited for you to keep going.
When he realized you weren't going to keep going, he figured what was going through your mind. "They would like you down on Earth. Not just the people, but the Avengers as well. I think Lady Natasha would be most happy if you returned," he said.
You smiled at your twin and then pulled him in for a hug. "This will not be the last time I see you, Thor."
He laughed. "It better not be."
The two of you pulled apart and you hurried up and out of the room to go tell 'Odin' about what you were going to do. People over out of your way as you rushed down to the throne room. Once there, the guards opened the doors up for you and you managed to slow down enough to walk towards the throne.
'Odin' looked up at you and then gestured for the others to leave. They were gone by the time you reached the throne. Knowing the truth, you didn't even bother with the formalities.
You also couldn't stand to call him father. "Loki, you can drop the disguise," you said quietly. With a quick glance around, he dropped the illusion and became your brother again. "I'm going to Midgard. Not for a fight or anything, but to exist. I only went off around the realms, fighting as a way to distant myself from losing you.
"But now that I know the truth I can't seem to get myself to go back out there. Thor plans to do that anyway so I thought I'd find a different way to distract myself. And maybe that way just so happens to be through Thor's friends," you rambled on.
Loki stood and walked down to pull you into a hug. "I already know this isn't goodbye, but I don't know when we'll see each other again."
You pulled away from the hug and Loki sighed away the emotions. "Besides, I don't think Thor would last another long period of time without hearing from you. Do you know how many times I'd hear him complain as myself and as Odin? It was exhausting," he said.
The two of you laughed. Then, Loki looked at you with questions in his eyes. "Now, tell me about the girl."

Natasha was in the middle of training the new recruits outside on one of the lawns when a sudden beam of rainbow light came hurtling down from the sky 100 feet away from them. The recruits looked stunned at the display, but Natasha knew exactly what it meant.
However, she expected Thor to come out of those beams, not you. So imagine her surprise when you were there, dressed in your Asgardian armor, when it all cleared up.
The two of you smiled at each other. Natasha really wanted to run up and tell you how glad she was that you weren't dead, but not in front of all these people.
Instead the two of you walked up to each other and had small greetings. "Lady- Nat, it's good to see you again," you said, quickly correcting yourself.
She smirked. "Glad to see you're not dead. You know, Thor was devastated when he thought he had killed you," she said.
You shrugged. "Well, luckily I was able to talk to him about that. I also heard something that was very interesting."
Natasha raised an eyebrow and asked, "Oh? And what was that?"
"That a certain someone missed me very much. Any idea as to who?" you asked, knowing full well it was her and that she knew you knew that. This was a lot more fun though.
She titled her head to the side and moved her hand up to rest under her chin as she hummed in thought. "I'm not sure. Let's go inside and figure out who it was," she said.
You nodded, accepting the offer, and follows behind her as she walked inside. She yelled for the Captain to watch over the recruits for a moment. He offered you a wave as he jogged by. Then, you and Nat were inside.
"So," Nat asked as the two of you walked side by side. "How long are you staying? Tony can get you a room set up for you for as long as you want."
Pretending to think on it, you titled your head. "Hmm, it depends on what the person who missed me has to say. I have no need to be back in Asgard right now or in the near future, so I'm good to stay here for a while. But again, it depends on the person who missed me."
Nat did the same as you, tilting her head and pretending to think. "That's a good thing to factor in. I'm sure whoever it is wouldn't mind you staying for as long as you want," she said, and the two of you turned down a hallway with many doors along the sides.
"Is that so?" you asked, and saw Nat leading you to a specific room.
"That is so," she said. She opened a door with one hand and then pulled your head down to hers with the other to kiss you. The two of you went into her room (you figured that out pretty easily) and you kicked the door shut with your foot.
You'd stay for a while.

A/n: okay so I feel a little weird with that ending, but I kinda like it cause it feels right for Nat to be bold like that and for Thor's twin to also be bold. But yeah, that's what I've got! I wrote part 1 so long ago that I completely forgot the story ideas I had for part 2 lmao
BUT here's what we've got and I don't hate it.
AND CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE LOKI SERIES??? OH MY GOD???? I LOVE IT! Literally Loki has been one of my favorite characters for so long and EPISODE THREE SPOILER: the fact that it finally mentioned his bisexuality??? HELL YEAH I FEEL LOVED!
I got a job, too, and my second day is today which is stressful. I have this thing called anxiety, you know? It makes it very difficult for me to confidently say that I'll figure things out as I go along because I don't even know how to get into my job this morning! Woohoo. I also have no idea how to get my uniform and all that stuff so this will be fun.
ANYWAYS thanks for reading and I hope to see you next time!
Bye Lovelies!!!!!!!!!!!
