Quarantine
Quarantine
**Timelines will not match up and I don't entirely care. This is a weird AU where I'm actually happy with everyone and everything lol**
The moment the news reported that COVID-19 reached New York City, Tony made every single person in the tower get tested for it. By everyone, he means anyone and everyone who steps foot into the facility on a daily basis, from the Avengers themselves to the cleaning crew. Tony was serious in making sure everyone was healthy. Pepper attempted to reassure him that the upstate facility was unlikely to get infected, but Tony wouldn't hear of it. After he double-checked that everyone got tested, news of the quarantine hit. Tony sent everyone home to their families and ensure they would still have jobs and get paid. The only people in the compound now were all of the Avengers and Tony's family. You fell into both categories as Tony's daughter with the ability to manipulate earth and plant life.
Everyone thought quarantine would be over soon, and that the team could be easily entertained the entire time. You were all stuck in a state-of-the-art facility with so many games, a gym, a pool, an underground movie theater, and just a giant common room to hang out in. You also had the last bit of your junior year of high school to finish up at home, which sounded absolutely amazing at first. Your quarantine could be a lot worse than it was.
But you were a few weeks in, and everyone was getting on each other's last nerve. School was abysmal and took so much time out of your day (teacher expected you to have no other life other than school apparently). Everyone was bored of playing the same games, watching the same movies, hanging out in the same spaces all with the same people.
You had decided to stay in your room to do school, figuring that the others would be too distracting. Oh, and your entire identity was a secret. Nobody knew who Blossom was under the mask, and nobody knew you were Tony Stark's eldest. So for school Zoom calls you couldn't have any of the Avengers popping in on your screen. They obliged (for the most part).
Today you had a chemistry Zoom call and were just logging in once it hit 11 am, the time of the meet. Your teacher, Ms. Allen, was the first person that popped up on screen, followed by your other classmates who actually decided to show.
"Good morning guys! This is one of our last Zoom calls before the end of this virtual school year, so it's not going to be too much. Just finish out strong!" You resisted the urge to roll your eyes at her perky attitude. Either she was amazing at acting sane or she really was sane. "So today we are going to do some easy stuff, just going to go over the periodic table and the categories for each element. Easy, right? Alright, let's start."
Her voice went on as you sat staring at the computer in silence. Everyone on the call was forced to keep their screens and microphones on at all times to ensure you were actually doing work. People still blatantly played on their phones or did other things, of course.
As the lesson went on, you suddenly heard a lot of screaming and yelling from outside. The entire class did too, because everyone was silent and looked at you for an explanation. It was silent for a moment on your end, and then you heard more screams.
"I have to go," you said quickly, and left the meeting without waiting for a response. You stood up from your chair so quickly it fell down behind you, and then ran out of your room towards the source of the noise. It lead you to the common room where you saw a sight you didn't think you'd ever see.
Peter was crawling on the ceiling in full Spiderman gear and had managed to get Bucky wrapped up in spider web and hung him from the ceiling. "What the fuck?!" you yelled out, which caused the screaming and movement to halt. Well, Bucky still flailed around in the strange cocoon he was in. "What-how-why- Peter?!"
The spider in question took his mask off and looked at you sheepishly. "Sam dared me to scare him," he gestured towards Bucky, "and I did just that. I got fifty bucks out of it too." You stared at the boy with an expression that said 'why?!'
Bucky made a little noise that drew your attention turned to the ex-assassin hanging from the ceiling. "He came up from behind me and just started to rapidly spin his web stuff around me then hung me from the damn ceiling!" Bucky explained (very loudly) while still thrashing about.
You looked back Peter and asked, "When is the web going to disintegrate?"
Peter looked as if he was about to answer, but then there was a small scream, followed by a thud and a groan. "Now, it seems." Peter got down from the ceiling and sheepishly offered a hand to Bucky on the ground to help him up. The offer was excepted and Bucky was up. He dusted himself off before pointing a finger at both you and Peter.
"Do no speak of this."
~One Week Later~
Today was your last Zoom call with your chemistry class. You didn't think there was an assignment, but you never know with some of these teachers. Again, you were instantly greeted with your teacher's face before seeing the other kids on the call. The number was lower than last week.
"Hey again guys! So today's call is going to start with a little casual discussion to give everyone time to join, then we'll get into the actual lesson," Ms. Allen said. She clapped her hands together. "So, first I want to know some more little things about you guys. Let's start with siblings. Who here has a sibling or more?"
Multiple people raised their hand, yourself included, and Ms. Allen smiled wider (if that's even possible at this point). "Great! Let's go in alphabetical order to talk about our siblings. Hunter, what about you?" The conversation went on and on. You had to wait a bit before your turn since your last name was 'Smith' as an alias. It was far from original but that was sort of the whole point.
You stared at some pictures on your desk behind your laptop. On that part of your desk you had a little bulletin board that you hung memories on. They were mostly pictures of you with the Avengers since you didn't have many friends outside of them. Your favorite was a picture of the team in their suits striking poses that went along with their powers/abilities. Nat hit a fighting stance, Peter was hanging from the ceiling (his feet were on the fucking ceiling dear god that kid can be scary), your dad hitting his signature pose, Steve holding his shield in front of him, Wanda created magic wisps around everyone, and so on. The picture was taken about a year ago when you had everyone. It was your favorite because it was like your entire family in a picture. Pepper and Morgan were missing, but right next to your superhero family photo you had a blood family photo.
In that one, it was Tony and Pepper in the back smiling brightly with you and Morgan making funny faces in the front, and in the background you could see Cinderella's castle. You were al decked out in full Disney gear, going from cute Mickey/Minnie mouse ears to your matching family shirts, to the Disney princess inspired footwear (in your dad's case, they were more Disney prince inspired). Sure it was cringe-worthy to some, wearing all that matchy-matchy gear, but your dad never really had a chance to be that family. You enjoyed every moment of those outfits. That picture was taken a couple years ago.
You were lost in thought when you suddenly heard '(Y/n) Smith' get called out. The person in front of you had just finished talking about their younger brother Alec and now it was your turn. "What about you, (Y/n). You raised your hand, so what's the sibling situation?" Ms. Allen asked.
"Well," you started, "I have a younger sister named Morgan. She's six years old." There were a few comments on the age gap between you and Morgan, so you decided to comment on it back. "My mom and dad had me and wanted another kid but then my dad got extremely busy with work and didn't want to leave my mom with two kids to raise alone basically so they waited. I still got to see plenty of him, but with a second kid it would've been hard," you briefly explained. They didn't need to know all of the specifics of your dad's job.
Ms. Allen nodded. "Thank you for sharing. Do you have a photo of her?" she asked. You nodded and pulled a picture of you and Morgan off of the bulletin board and showed the class. It was you and Morgan smiling with ice cream in your hands on the Santa Monica pier. That was a more recent vacation. "Wow, she looks a lot like you. Alright, Terry Snow?"
The next kid started to go on about his older sisters Lizzie and Emma, when suddenly more noise came from your house. Again, just like last time, everyone got quiet and looked at you. It was a girl in your class, Mel, that spoke up. "(Y/n) what is going on at your house?" she asked. Everyone nodded, showing they were wondering the same thing.
"Honestly," you sighed, "I have no clue. I'm really sorry about this." The noise got louder and you realized that the people were coming into your room. Of course, the realization came too late for you to leave the meeting, and your room door burst open. The biggest problem was the fact that you could see the door and anything outside of it from your computer since it was almost directly behind your desk.
First Sam ran inside screaming and covering his head, with Bucky following with a Nerf gun and a strap across his chest filled with Nerf bullets, then Steve following him and yelling for Bucky to stop, and then Thor walked in laughing about the whole thing.
You looked at the group in shock and anger, completely forgetting about the people on your screen. "Guys what the hell? Get out of my room! Take your damn fight somewhere else!" Your yelling got everyone's attention. Sam ran over to you and picked you up like a sack of potatoes, ignoring your protesting, and carried you.
"You can't get me with (Y/n) as my shield!" Sam taunted Bucky. The latter got annoyed and loaded the Nerf gun back up. He started to fire at Sam, hitting you most of the time, and Sam ran back out of your room with you screaming over his shoulder. Steve and Thor followed, which left the people on your Zoom call in utter silence as they tried to process whatever just happened.
It was a minute later when the entire group ran past the door, and they all heard you screaming at Sam, "Put me down Sam Wilson or I swear to god I will have weeds grow out of your damn nose!" The entire group passed by the door, with Tony Stark ending the line of people. He glanced into your room and saw the Zoom call still on, so he walked inside.
Your class and teacher just stared at Tony in silence. He got to the computer and waved at the people. "Sorry about that!" he said, then left the meeting.

A/N: sorry this took so long, but i have finally posted another imagine! They will be coming in slower but I'm trying guys, because I want to make sure you have content from me :)
So this one was really fun for me to write, and it took me until my third try to get that way lol. Seriously, writing is a bitch sometimes, ya know? The above picture was what I saw scrolling through Instagram and that's where I got the inspiration to write this. I literally saw that pic like an hour ago and then pulled this out of a magical hat.
Also I might be getting a part-time job (got interviewed today), so that on top of online school and learning how to fucking drive, my time for writing is going to interfere with my time for sleeping. I hope you guys understand my writing is taking a hit, which I really don't want but don't have a choice, but I will keep trying to get stuff out. I have some prewritten chapters for Trust out so I might be posting those more than on here, so if you want you can read that!
Quick question cause I want to get to know my readers a bit more: what career field seems interesting to you?
My Answer: I want to be an actress, a writer, and/or fashion designer. None of those are practical but who the fuck cares?
Bye Lovelies!!!!!!!!!
