Why do you like me? I'm a monster 

You were introduced to the Avengers about six months ago and it's been a wild ride. You started to spar with Natasha and Steve while Tony working with the technical side of your power. 

Why you were introduced to the Avengers, is because you can manipulate electricity. You've caused multiple power outages and had difficulty controlling it, so Tony had been working on not causing the entire building to shut down. 

It had been difficult for you to get over the fact that Hydra had taken over your life and body made you into someone who caused people's lives to be more complicated. 

Being in the tower made life a lot easier but the nightmares and flashbacks made it somehow worse. It's like no matter what, what happened haunted you and there was no way to get out of it. 

Wanda had immediately bonded with you since you were both the subjects and results of Hydra experiments. Whenever you had a nightmare, she would be the person you would run to crying, and she would ease your fears enough for you to get some sleep. It was something that helped Wanda as well. There was something about helping you, made her feel better. 

Wanda had grown to care about you, and you cared for her. You were scared to get close to people because you'd actually been known to shock people when you get too nervous. 

One day when you were sparring with Steve you shocked him and sent him flying across the room causing you to run out of the room in shame. Wanda was there to comfort you but you were scared for her to get close to you. 

The next day you shut yourself in your room, not wanting to hurt anyone, especially not Wanda. 

There was a gentle knock on your door and you just looked at the door, not moving from fetal position you were in on your bed. 

"Come on y/n, please let me in." Wanda called through the door and you realized that she was going to come in either way. 

"Come in." You quietly called and she opened the door. Her features immediately softened when she saw your state and closed the door behind her. 

Wanda walked over to your bed and sat down next to you. "What's wrong?" She asked as she rubbed your back gently. You recoiled from her touch and she sighed. "Please talk to me." She whispered and you finally looked at her. 

"I'm going to hurt you if you come any closer. I'm going to hurt you like I hurt Steve." You whispered and she sighed and shook her head. 

"You could never hurt me." She responded and you almost laughed. 

"Yes I will. Why do you like me? I'm a monster." You whispered and she just looked at you. 

"When I first joined the team I thought I was a monster too but you get through it. Hydra is at fault here, and you can't keep thinking about it. You have to get past it. You are amazing, kind, generous, and I-I love you." Wanda said and you looked at her, not knowing what to say. "I mean it's okay if you don't feel the same y/n/n, I just want to make sure you're okay." She added and you smiled gently at her. 

"I feel the same Wanda." You whispered and sat up a little more, feeling nervous, afraid you're going to shock her. You didn't want to hurt her, but you wanted to kiss her, more than anything. 

"You're not going to hurt me, trust me." She whispers as she closes the gap between you and her, softly placing her lips on yours. 

You smile into the kiss as she pulls you closer. When the two of you pulled away, she leaned he forehead against yours. "Well there was a spark there and it was not a harmful one." She whispered, making you laugh gently. 

There was a knock on the door making both of you jump. The door opens to reveal Steve and he just looked at the two of you. 

He clears his throat causing Wanda to laugh a little. "Can I help you Captain?" She asks and Steve smiles a little. 

"So are you two a thing? And how long?" Steve asked and Wanda looked back at you. 

"Well...I guess we're a thing. We both kind of really like each other. And just now." You responded, looking at Wanda, with a small smile on your face. 

"Well I owe Natasha and Barton 20 bucks each. Oh and y/l/n, Tony wants you in the lab. And about yesterday, it's okay. It didn't hurt that much, and Wanda, we have a sparring session in ten." He said before walking away causing both of you to blush. 

"Well I guess there was a bet." Wanda laughed and looked at you. 

"I guess so, but I'm happy this happened." You whispered and smiled gently at her. 

"I am too." She said before kissing you gently again. 

"Mr./Miss. y/l/n, Mr. Stark would like you in the lab." FRIDAY echoed through the room causing both of you to groan. 

"I'll see you later Wanda." You said before kissing her cheek and running out of the room. 

Wanda smiled and put her hand on her cheek where you had kissed. "My princess." She whispered before walking out to get ready for the sparring session with Steve.
