"Steve please wait! It's not what you thought-" He slammed the door shut, the wooden door coming off it's hinges slightly. I opened the door walking into the room to see him sitting on our bed, face in his hands. "Steve, you need to listen."

"Listen to what? I don't want to hear you apologize Y/N, clearly you've fallen for someone else." He tone was strained, he was trying to contain his anger. My breathing was becoming erratic, my heart quickened. This wasn't how this was supposed to go.

"Steve, I don't love him I love you! I was on a mission you have to understand that." I pleaded to him, he wasn't saying a word to me. My vision was starting to become blurry. Tears falling down my pale cheeks.

Fury had gave me a mission to go undercover, he needed intel about the CEO of a huge manufacturing company. Fury thinks that it's being run by Hydra. So I went undercover, I went to the bar on the east and found my target sipping on a whiskey.

Things got out of hand when the man got to frisky and decided to kiss me.

And Steve saw it all.

"I was undercover, you have to believe me." I pleaded once more, giving it a final push and he just stared at the ground.

"Get out." He said barely above a whisper. "Steve, please don-."

"I said get out!" He stood abruptly from the bed and towered over me. My hands were shaking and tears flowed from my eyes. "I don't need anymore of your excuses, go back to Mr. Big Shot, you seemed to be having more fun with him." I only nodded my head, not being able to look at him.

I grabbed my purse that I had thrown onto the desk and opened the door. Before leaving I turned to look back at Steve, "I love you, and only you Steve. I just want you to know that."

I took a final glance at him before shutting the door behind me and walking towards the stairs. Tears were still streaming down my face, I don't know where to go now. Steve and I had lived together and he'd just kicked me out.

I rummaged through my purse finding my phone thinking of only one person who could help me. "Hello?"

"Hey, I uh- I need a place to stay tonight." I drawled out hoping he'd catch on.

"What's wrong with where you're at?" I could hear music in the backround, he must have been working in the lab.

"I don't think I'm allowed to be there anymore." I sighed sniffling, I heard him sigh on the other line as well. "Sure kid, you can stay as long as you need."

I nodded my head even though he couldn't see. "Thanks Tony, I don't know what I'd do without you."
