Ch. 12~Escort Part 2-Tony Stark

I wake up in the morning a little after ten. No doubt a product of my late night before. I jump in the shower and change into lingerie since I'm still feeling the afterglow of Tony last night. Feeling sexy, happy, and sure, a little silly, I grab two frozen waffles from my freezer and pop them in the microwave. I'm dancing around the small space as I make myself a cup of much needed coffee, but everything stops when I get a text.

I know it's your day off, but a high-profile client requested you. Up for some extra cash?

I sigh. It's just my boss. Knowing my rent is due in a couple days makes my choice obvious.

Yeah. Occasion?

Gala. Black tie. Dancing shoes.

I groan. Another stupid party.

Address and time?

You've got thirty minutes.

She sends the address to me and I quickly eat my waffles as I get dressed. After the shitshow of last evening, I go for one of my more conservative dresses made with a hopefully non-rippable material. I trade my lingerie for stickies over my nipples and no underwear so the dress remains smooth. Stark white with long sleeves to protect me from the chill outside, it's most likely the sexiest and most conservative dress I have. The only place skin shows is the cut out back, a little bow at the top keeping it on my body. The soft fabric clings to me and falls in supple folds to the floor just after the curve of my ass. It's one of my favorites. Very dangerous wearing a pure white dress in a busy city, but whatever. I call a cab company and carefully head down and get into the car. My phone rings and I answer it without looking, assuming it's my boss.

"Yeah, I'm on my way."

"Well that's fortuitous." Tony quips and instantly brings a smile to my face.

"Oh, sorry. I thought you were my boss. How are you, Tony?" I question, happy we have a little time before I have to go to another boring party.

"Much better now that I'm talking to you, stubborn lady. I wanted to immediately head over to you after my meeting as a happy little surprise, but I've been roped into another function." He sighs heavily and I can imagine him rubbing his pretty eyes. "I apologize."

My heart warms a little. I don't remember the last time a guy apologized for missing a date, much less one that we hadn't even set yet. "That's alright, Tony. Works out since I also have to go to work today." I inform him and hear a small hum of interest on the other end of the phone.

"Here's hoping your date will be better than the last." He says and I like him even more for not being pissy about my job.

"Well, last time I did end up having a pretty good time with someone else." I tease and hear him smile. The car starts slowing down and my own smile fades a little. "I've got to go Tony."

"Sure, sure. Tonight. Meet up with me tonight after your date. No matter the time. We can go back to that same diner if you like." Tony suggests and I pause with my hand on the door handle. I'm so flattered it actually takes me a moment to absorb his words.

"I'll call you when it's done. Promise." I tell him and climb carefully out of the car.

"Deal." He responds and we both hang up. Leaning down, I slip my phone into an ankle holder before getting out. Hey, a lady's gotta do what she's gotta do. My dress covers it anyways. I walk out towards a red head with messy curls atop his head. The minute he sees me his pale blue eyes are wide in awe. Good.

"Mr. Henway?" I ask just to make sure. He nods, seemingly having trouble finding his voice. I smile at his bashfulness and take his hand in mine, trying to ignore how I instantly wish it was rough like Tony's. "Hey sweetie. Ready to go?"

"Y-yes, William Henway. Sorry, you're just really beautiful." He tells me earnestly and my smile comes easier.

"This your first time with an escort?" I ask as he helps me into a black SUV, then slips in beside me.

"Well, yes. I wasn't the one who called. It's just...I was convinced that coming with a date was preferable." He continues cutely. Finally, a cute, seemingly nice date. About time I got one.

"Cute guy like you? Doesn't seem like you would need to pay for a date." I compliment him and he blushes, looking down at the floor and clasping his hands together.

"Uh, actually I had a date, but screwed it all up. I..." he glances at me guiltily. "I kissed another girl." He looks so glum and regretful I have to remind myself not to laugh. "I swear it wasn't on purpose!" He rushes to explain, "I was talking to this girl about a new project and got so involved in the mechanics of it I didn't realize she got so close, then she kissed me and Karen saw just...ugh." His hands delve into his mess of curls as he groans. "She'll be here tonight, so my buddies and I agreed this might make her jealous..." He stops when he sees the look on my face. Christ. I have to help this poor fuckup.

"Okay, listen closely. Making a girl jealous isn't how you win her back. Showing devotion is how you win a girl's heart. So, here's what I say we'll do. We'll go wherever this girl is and I'll laugh really loud to get her attention. When she sees us you'll thank me for talking with you, very politely, then walk over to her without breaking eye contact. Got it?" I propose and he instantly nods, hope lighting up those baby blues. The car stops and we both get out. William gives me his arm very sweetly and I take it as we walk up the black marbled steps. Briefly, I think about how kickass I probably look against this black in a white dress, then we're inside. It's very different from yesterday.

The floor is a mosaic of something I can't quite make out because of all the people littering it, but it's made from black, cream, and tan marble tiles. Drink tables line the outside of the room, draped in white cloth to contrast the black walls that sparkle in the white florescent lights. The far wall in the back is all glass to showcase what looks like a Japanese garden. Japanese maples light up the space with their vivid leaves and there's a small walk way that follows a little water feature until it's out of view. William already seems to know where to go because he gently guides me through the throngs of people, not stopping once, until we've reached the bar.

"Okay. The dark green dress just over there." He reaches up to point and I instantly snatch his hand and return it to his side.

"No pointing. I see her." I assure him, thankful the bar has mirrors behind the drink bottles. She is really pretty. Red hair, meadow green eyes bright behind black glasses, and a gorgeous green dress makes her stand out. My eyes return to William to find him fidgeting like a dog with fleas. For a moment I think of Tony's inability to stay still and smile. I reach out and brush his shoulders with my hands. "Calm down, you've got this. Relax." My voice is calm and self-assured, so after a moment William chills out. "Okay. Keep your eyes on her, discreetly, and tell me when she looks over." He nods once after taking a deep breath. I laugh, the sound easily traveling a distance thanks to the acoustics in the room. William doesn't even have to tell me when she looks at us because he stiffens like a board. I put a hand on his shoulder and he glances at me. "Thank me audibly and go get your girl." I encourage and he smiles brightly as he looks back at her.

"Thank you. Really and truly, thank you." His thanks is so adorably genuine and I watch him leave and walk right over to Karen.

"Can I get you something, Miss?" The bartender asks and I break my eyes away from them to look at her. Blonde, blue, eyed and sporting a wicked hummingbird tattoo just barely peeking out from under her black sleeve, she's cute. Elaine, her nametag says.

"Nice tattoo, Elaine." I comment and she smiles gratefully at me. "Mojito, please?" I request and she nods. A little taste of summer would be fantastic right now as the breeze outside wiggles the branches of the Japanese Maples. The two red-heads seem to be doing alright. There's lots of little touches on her end and cute blushes on his, so I'd say they'll be alright.

A slight ruckus causes me to look up at the entrance only to find a similar scene to yesterday. Tony Stark strutting in without a girl on his arm. This time he's in subtle black and gray pinstripes with a bright red and gold tie. He even has a little red handkerchief tucked in his jacket pocket. A soft chink alerts me to my drink being done and I turn only to pick it up and nod at the bartender before swiveling back to my nice view. Seems Tony's found me as well. A slow, sexy smile lights up his handsome face when our eyes meet and even though he's currently talking to a reporter, he barely looks at her. I bite my lip and shake my head at him. He's doing the exact thing I just taught William to do. Damn it. But no one is telling Tony what to do as he nods and pats the reporters' shoulder, then walks over to me as if we're the only two people in the room.

"Well, well, well. Already at the bar again? At least your dress isn't any worse for wear, unless the back has been torn out and I haven't noticed yet." Tony teases and I step out, doing a slow little turn for him. I grin when I see his face after I've turned.

"I think I'm alright. Actually, I got my date back together with his girl." I sidle up to Tony and wave a hand towards the couple, now clinging to each other the way young people do.

"Ah, how philanthropic of you." Tony comments and I look over at his smirk.

"Try not to look too pleased that I've lost yet another date, Tony." My tone is light as I joke with him, bringing my drink up to my lips and drinking the ambrosia.

He chuckles and shrugs. "I'm happy to take his place. Besides, would you rather I be dishonest?" He questions, hazel eyes twinkling.

I hum in thought for a moment. "No, your honesty is refreshing. It's one of the things I enjoy about your company." My words catch his interest and he stands up from leaning on the bar.

"Don't think I've heard that one before. Most of the time I'm chastised for it." Tony informs me and I smile softly. "Dance with me?" He offers me his arm and I've taken it before he's finished speaking. My drink is left on the bar counter. Tony's far more intoxicating anyways. He escorts me out onto the dancefloor and we garner looks from most of the room. When we assume the dancing position the looks turn more discreet, but still, my pride is definitely boosted with Tony's eyes on me. Finally, I get to feel those calluses again and I bite my lip when I feel his hand on my waist, those rough fingers brushing across my skin in just the right way to make me shiver. The mischief in Tony's eyes tells me he knows exactly what he's doing too. "Alright, honesty. You are most definitely one of the most beautiful sights I've seen in a long time. And I saw you in sweatpants." His comment makes me laugh and I bathe in glow from the smile on his face.

"I think you may have a sweatpants fetish." I inform him and he shrugs, my hand on his shoulder rolling with the movement and feeling the hard muscles there.

"Once again, it's the person in the sweatpants." He tells me and his hand on my waist tugs me a little closer as we sway. "I think it's your turn to be honest. Would you like me to ask you a question, or is there something you already have in mind?" Tony questions and I smirk.

"Actually, I've been meaning to mention something about your hands."

His eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "My hands?" He repeats as I laugh inwardly.

"Mmhmm. You complimented me, so I'm complimenting you." My eyes look to our clasped hands as I run my thumb over the length of his, then cradle that hand so I can straighten out each finger with my thumb. I feel the calluses with the pad of my fingers, thinking just how good it would be if it was my tongue instead. All the while, I'm talking to him. "It was the second thing I noticed about you. First was your handsome, sexy as fuck smile." He gives me one for that, I can see it out of the corner of my eye. "Then we shook hands and my first thought was how good they'd feel on my body." I hum when he drags his fingers down my spine. Tony curses and I hold his hand normally again, looking at his face.

His hazel eyes suddenly look more golden and molten now and the sight makes me melt a little bit. "Are you trying to give me a hard-on?" He asks bluntly and it's so goddamn refreshing. Not to mention funny.

"Happy coincidence." I smirk and he looks at me; incredulous. "Do you want to take a walk outside?" My head tilts towards the little garden and Tony follows, nodding. Feeling like Cinderella and Prince Charming fleeing from the ball, we walk to the back and slip out. Thankfully, there's a sidewalk for us to walk on so my dress won't get dirty. Hand in hand, we walk slowly down the path of maples along the small stream.

"What about your parents?" Tony asks suddenly, looking up from the path to meet my eyes.

"Well, my dad was never really part of my life. Ran when I was little. Mom did her best and got me through high school, but we couldn't afford college." I talk softly, unused to the man asking about my life. As an escort, we're taught to be whatever the man wants and that's never ourselves. Except this time. "When she got sick and had to stop working it fell to me to look after us. She didn't know it at the time, but I found her client list. I took her place in the company. I'm not sure if she knew or not, but she never asked where the money came from. She...passed away before I had to tell her." I shrug. "Cancer."

Tony nods and squeezes my hand. "I'm sorry." He tells me sweetly and my heart warms at his simple words. "I have a suggestion." He states and I perk up just as we come to the end of the path. "Let's ditch and go to my place. I have endless amounts of coffee and the comfort of all comforts; multicolored sweatpants." Tony enunciates as if that's the best possible bribe and easily brings a smile back to my face.

"Oh, I don't know Mr. Stark. This is only our second accidental meeting. Usually the third is when I'm ready for the weight of rainbow sweatpants." I tease and Tony taps a finger against his lips.

"Hmm, what if we also watched Titanic and argued throughout the whole thing?" Tony continues with his ridiculous bribes and I'm grinning like an idiot as he does. I lean in a little and let my fingers land lightly on the knot of his tie.

"I can think of a couple other things that could convince me..." I tap his nose with mine and feel him sigh. "But you had me the minute you said sweatpants." Tony's eyes widen before he pulls away to laugh, the sunny sound echoing off the buildings around us.

"Oh, god. Perfection. Christ." He breathes and suddenly moves back towards me, pressing his lips to mine. Surprised, it takes me a moment to shut my eyes and respond, fully taking his tie in my hand and keeping him close to me. His hands slide up my bare back and I can't resist letting loose the smallest of moans. This creates a ripple effect. Tony's mouth opens and hearing his little gasp before we connect our lips together again is such a fucking aphrodisiac. His hands trail down my back before resting on the top of my ass to keep me still as he grinds his hips into mine.

"Oh fuck." I break away and curse, my body hotter than if it were summer and we were standing on the beach. Tony releases me and physically takes a step away, unbuttoning his jacket so he can put his hands on the back of his head. Once I get some breath back I laugh lightly at the state of his tie. It's been halfway pulled out of its little tie bar and now forms an unshapely hump in the middle of his chest. He looks down and chuckles before fixing it. "Anyways, your place, right?" I accept his previous proposition and humor dances in his eyes once again.

"Absolutely."
