--Asgard--

"Please identify your spaceship. We do not intend to engage in war with your race." The Asgardian told Thanos who was in a large warcraft.

"I intend to engage war unless your King gives up the Space Stone." Thanos said, landing the warcraft on the rainbow bridge.

Meanwhile, Thor was inside the commanding his troops to defend the gates of Asgard. Reed, Natasha and Pietro were also present but Thor begged them to not engage. Thanos found them after he used his interrogating. Thanos was all by himself when he exited his ship.

"Stand down!" The Asgardian soldier demanded when Thanos was walking down to Asgard.

Thanos smiled as he walked towards the Asgardian soldiers. The Power Stone and  Reality Stone lit up and it created a shockwave of power towards the Asgardians. They all turned into dust and Thanos chuckled. More Asgardians were running towards them.

"Turn down your weapons. So you may have a chance of living." Thanos said

All Thor and Heimdall could hear inside the palace was the souls of the Asgardians perishing. Heimdall could sense it from inside. Before the attack, he had time to grab the Bifrost sword. The other Avengers were hiding in the hallways of the palace.

"His tearing his way into the palace. What shall we do?" Heimdall asked while he saw where Thanos was.

"We can not let him have the Space Stone. If he does, he can travel to Earth and get the rest." Thor said, as he looked at Heimdall.

"He's at the gates. There's no more time. We must stop him now."

Thanos destroyed the gates that was between him and the Space Stone. The Stormbreaker went to Thor's arm as he and Heimdall prepared for battle. Reed, Pietro and Natasha came out from hiding and joined them.

"There it is. The Space Stone..." Thanos smiled as all three stones in his gauntlet lit up, "the power to travel through the universe."

"You won't be ruling the universe today..." Thor said, swinging Stormbreaker, "Nor the rest of your life."

"The Asgardian God. How foolish of you to think that you can kill me. Try me." Thanos started running to them with all three stones prepared.

Natasha and Reed stayed behind because they would be easily killed off if they chose to fight. Pietro ran around Thanos to try and snatch the gauntlet. But Thor was going one on one with Thanos. He used Stormbreaker to fight off Thanos's attacks.

Thor brought thunder into the palace but Thanos countered it by using the Reality Stone and Power Stone to contain the power and strike it at Reed and Natasha. Thor had Stormbreaker charged up so he striked Thanos with it. Thanos flew back and got knocked into the pillar of the palace.

"You've gotten stronger, Asgardian." Thanos chuckled, as he used the Reality Stones to turn the broken stones of the pillar into spikes. The Power Stone lit up and the spikes were thrown at Thor.

Thor used his thunder to destroy all the spikes as he ran towards Thanos. Thanos used the Reality Stone to lift the ground beneath Thor up into the sky. Once Thor was up in the air, he dealt with the ones on the ground.

While he was looking at Natasha, Reed wrapped his hands around Thanos's hand to stop him from activating any of the stones. Natasha brought her guns out and started shooting at Thanos. The bullets weren't penetrating his skins, it was just bouncing off him. But the bullets that were bouncing off, were being thrown back by Pietro who was picking the bullets up.

The Power Stone lit up and it partially burnt Reed's hands. Reed retreated behind one of the pillars and Thanos took advantage of the two others. He pointed the Reality Stone ahead of Pietro and stones attached to his feet, stopping him from running. Natasha, who was still shooting Thanos, had her bullets turned into bats which attacked her. Thanos was amused as he watched the destruction that was happening.

Suddenly Thor appeared from the roof and crashed his warcraft on him. Thor charged up his Stormbreaker but Thanos exploded the warcraft and turned the destroyed parts into small ships which started to follow Thor and crash into him. Thor destroyed each ship with Stormbreaker but Thanos got close enough to use the Power Stone. He grabbed him off the ground and threw him into a pillar. The Reality Stone lit up and Thor was stuck within the pillar.

"How does it feel? To be stuck in a material that you can not break out." Thanos chuckled as he walked around Thor.

"What do you want anyway?" Thor asked, struggling to break out.

"Stop playing games with me, Asgardian. Your trying to understand my plan. I don't have a plan. I only have a vision. And that is to balance the universe and now that I have done that, it was about time powerful beings faded away from the universe." Thanos explained

"But how about-" Thor stopped talking when the Bifrost teleported Natasha, Reed and Pietro away, "Heimdall, don't!"

Thanos stopped to look at Heimdall and he threw a spear at him. He blocked the attack with his sword and Thanos seemed impressed him.

"Courageous man, but not very wise. Not my type." Thanos said

Before he could kill Heimdall, Thor broke free of the pillar and striked Thanos with the Stormbreaker. Thanos got knocked back a few pillars away which gave time for Thor to walk to Heimdall.

"Did you get Valkyrie, Korg and Miek out?" Thor asked walking towards him.

"Yes, you need to stay away from the other stones so that you can keep Thanos's plan from happening," Heimdall said as the Bifrost surrounded Thor, "It's been a pleasure serving you."

"Heimdall, no-" Thor couldn't say anything else because he was teleported someplace far away.

Heimdall sighed as he saw Thanos slowly walk towards him. The Power Stone lit up and Heimdall accepted his fate. Thanos knocked Heimdall in the stomach, turning him into dust.

"I could've used a man like him." Thanos sighed, as he looked at the destruction around him. He remembered the tale of Ragnarok in someplace. He smiled, "It's about time I fulfilled a prophecy."

The Power Stone lit up and Thanos striked the ground, exploding the planet.
