Prompt: You and Tony have been dating for 2 years and it's your anniversary but he's out at a party without you (when he comes home).

"Evening Anthony, or should I say morning?" You said in an angry tone while your boyfriend, Tony, came in at 2 am from a party.

"What are you talking about?" He said, slurring his words. You were so angry at him but didn't show it. If you did, you knew you were just wasting your breath. Trying to deal with Tony when he's drunk and you're tired, isn't a good mix, so you confront him but stay calm.

"You know"

"What?" He asked innocently, like he'd done nothing.

"You know what Tony. It's our anniversary, was, our anniversary. But you decided to go out and get drunk, instead of spending time with me. You've probably slept with someone as well" you replied, getting angrier at him by the second.

"No, of course not 'hiccup' I remembered"

"Sure" you said walking away from the conversation, going to your shared bedroom. You thought Tony would have followed you, but turning round, there was no sign of him. You sighed heavily as you walked into your room, falling straight on the bed. As you were already ready for bed, you got straight in and started going to sleep.

A little while later, after having no look of getting to sleep, you heard the door opening then closing. Tony was mumbling things to him-selve. As he changed in the dark, you saw his arc reactor (pretend it was before he got it removed) light up the area near him. After he got changed, he didn't attempt to get into bed with you, it would just be a waste of his and your time. Instead he went downstairs to sleep on the sofa. You would have to sort it out in the morning as the bed was cold when he wasn't there next to you. You couldn't snuggle into his side, or put your head on his chest (where you could (arc reactor)) and have him drape an arm around you, you felt, for the first time in 2 years, lonely and empty without him.

The next morning, you woke up early to make bacon and eggs. As you were cold in the night, you had on one of Tony hoodies and kept it on when you went downstairs. When you went down, Tony was still asleep on the sofa and would probably be like that for another hour or so. You got out the bacon and eggs, ready to cook them when you heard a noise coming from Tony's workshop. You went down and opened the door with your code. When the noise happened again, you saw it was just one of Tony's drode helpers banging itself against a metal desk.

You let it slide before you saw one of the suits get out the case and start shooting at you. You hid behind anything you could find, hoping Tony would come down after hearing the noises. When he did, he came straight through the door and got shot.

You shot up after the nightmare, breathing heavily. You look at your phone seeing it was 6am. Back In Black was screaming through the speakers as JARVIS bid you good morning. You went down to see Tony up, making breakfast, bacon and eggs. There was no noise like in your nightmare, just Tony, unharmed.

"Morning" he said, happily smiling even though he's had 4 hours sleep.

"Morning" you replied, "smells good"

"Thanks. I'm sorry for yesterday, I was in a bad place. I still can't believe you've stayed with me for 2 years"

"Well, believe it, Stark"

"I will, now you're here"

"I love you, Anthony Stark"

"I love you too, (Y/N) (Y/L/N)"
