"At Nick Fury's private resort," Gwen answered her father-in-law on the phone, while Jeff looked at his fellow cops before answering.

"Tell Nick Fury I'm coming later; there's something I want to tell to all of you." Jeff slowly looks down as he responds to Gwen in the phone call.

Gwen can hear something odd about her father-in-law's voice, and Gwen wants to know what's happening so she can be aware.

"What's going on with dad?"

Jeff doesn't know if he has to inform Gwen, but soon or later everyone will know. Gwen patiently waited.

"Cassie is dead; she was murdered. Make sure Scott is calm and give him water. In case he needs it, I'm coming. Don't tell anyone yet. I will deliver the news once I get there."

Gwen's gasp can be heard from the phone call; she can't believe what she's hearing.

"Dad, do you have any idea who did it?" Gwen asked in a worried tone. The news was so unexpected to her.

"Not yet, but we are still in case and I'm coming. Make sure to tell Nick Fury I'm coming."

Soon Jeff ended his call between him and Gwen, and as he slowly walked to Cassie's dead body, he sighed.

Cassie is just too young.

Soon, Kristoff arrived, breathing heavily. He just came from running from his office to the hospital just for Cassie. Jeff recognized him quickly, and it has been a long time since Jeff saw Kristoff.

Kristoff can't help but break down into tears seeing that his ex-girlfriend, whom he is still in love with, has already passed.

He runs to the cold corpse and hugs it, crying that the only girl who makes his heart run faster is gone.

VAMPIRE FOREST

Soren is the first one to notice Nicole separated from them. He used his weather manipulation to create a tornado from the air that made some of the vampires get trapped inside before he followed Nicole without a second thought, while Nicole kept following a girl she believes is Cassie.

"Nicole!" He rushed himself to follow, and at the same time, he made sure no vampires were following them behind. He was also worried about her at the moment when she separated herself from the others.

Nicole's heartbeat is running faster, but she feels like something is wrong. She saw Cassie. She can't mistake the person that she saw as her sister, but she's bleeding. She looks around and still sees her.

"Cassie!" She ran to see her.

As Soren sees her keep walking in a far direction, he doesn't have second thoughts about keeping following her to make sure she's not going to get in danger.

As Nicole finally reached the girl, the girl turned around to her, and she was bleeding. Nicole was speechless.

"Who did this to you?" After three seconds.

Soren managed to tap Nicole's shoulder as Nicole turned around and saw Soren as the heir of Asgard to check who Nicole was talking to. As they turned around, no one was there.

Nicole felt like she was having a warning sign.

Meanwhile, Hestia takes a short break while battling with the vampires while everyone isn't looking. Apollo approaches Hestia with a worried look.

"You okay? That male vampire makes you uncomfortable, right?" Apollo shot an arrow in his right side without looking; he got a headshot to a vampire who tried to sneak in his right side.

"Look, you should have to tell your brother about what happened."

Hestia shook her head. Mike and Liam are like closest friends, and Liam's favorite's Walker is Mike. Besides, Hestia doesn't think someone will believe her, and people know Hestia wearing some revealing clothes for her age.

Little did they know Artemis heard them and wondered what they were talking about. "You won't understand my point of view."

"Not because someone almost took advantage of you, it doesn't mean your brother will judge you." Artemis's eyes are wide after hearing the conversation from afar.

Hestia releases fire from her palm and throws it to the vampires who try to sneak behind her as it screams in pain.

Artemis hides so she can listen more, hoping they can talk more, but nothing comes out as Apollo and Hestia both fight some vampires.

Artemis turned around, and the vampire was already facing her, and as the vampire grabbed her neck, holding her neck to be choked, Artemis used her free hands to get her bow and arrow ready, but the vampire quickly noticed this.

The vampire grabs her weapon and throws it away. He smiles as Artemis is turning blue, trying to remove the strong grip around her neck.

She's turning blue due to losing her breath. Suddenly, an arrow hit the vampire in the back of his head, and he got burned as the arrow had a fire of its own as the vampire exploded. Apollo ran to Artemis and caught her when Artemis was about to fall down.

"We got you." Artemis looked at Apollo without responding as Apollo talked to her, and Artemis held on to him. Apollo held her hand as their fingers interlocked each other's.

A vampire tries to attack them while they aren't looking, but suddenly Raffaele quickly passes by and grabs the vampire away from them.

"Come on, let's see who's fastest,"

With a grin, pushing the vampire to the ground.

He grins and grabs the vampire by the neck and uses his speed to spin around, performing a tornado for a little before throwing the vampire away in the ground.

DJ teleported beside Raffaele; she was holding two daggers as the two looked at each other before the vampire called a backup and attacked them. Raffaele and DJ quickly teamed up.

"Where's the portal when we need one?" Raffaele asks as he and DJ team up against the vampires.

DJ throws her dagger behind Raffaele as the vampire tries to approach him without his knowledge. It was a headshot. "I'm sure she's going to open the portal to somewhere safe."

Talking about Hecate, soon Nicole and Soren arrived, joining them as the four of them fought some vampires.

JJ Rogers, the youngest child of Steve Rogers, decided to create a giant water shield, trapping everyone except the vampires inside.

"They are multiplying too." JJ said to his older brother Alexander.

They noticed the vampires are also multiplying themselves as well.

Soon Hecate arrived as Lucas looked at her. "Is the portal ready?"

Hecate nodded as she was also thinking of something else, but she decided to stay focused on their goal, which is to escape the place, yet they have to escape the vampires first.

"We can't be separated right now; we are in this together," Blaze said and Alexander nodded as DJ soon made a clone of herself from her powers.

There's a moment of silence and they give each other a stare, like they have telepathy to each other, knowing what to do soon.

JJ lets go of the shield he builds and they all attack together as one soon, leading to victory as some tired vampires are in the ground as Ziggy quickly uses a spell to tie in the ground after a massive fight.

There's some burning trees; they didn't have time to rest as Little as they followed Hecate.

FURY PRIVATE RESORT

As they arrive back at the party location they smile at each other because they are complete when they arrive back and Rory is the first one to notice something is wrong with the avengers.

"What's going on?"

Nicole, Alya and Casey turned around and noticed Scott was crying while Hope was comforting him as the three sisters ran to Scott.

"Dad are you alright?" Casey asks her dad.

Alya and Nicole looked at Jeff, who was slowly handing them a plastic zip bag with Cassie's bracelet with blood made by Nicole when she's a little girl. Nicole didn't know what to believe as she slowly took the zip bag as her tears slowly fell down in silence.

PADILLA FOREST MANSION

John started to wake up in a king bed as he looked around and saw the person who saved him. "Who are you?"

"My name is not important right now; the important thing is I saved your ass before the police came," Lucifer said, grinning, but John glared at him.

"I ask who are you?" Once again, Lucifer didn't answer John as he slowly offered him a meal on a wooden food tray. Lucifer gave him a smile, while John gave him a glare.

Lucifer turns around and continues what he was previously doing, having fresh air from the opened window.

UNKNOWN PLACE

Mei is walking around into a place where people won't see her as her eyes start to glow brightly white as negative energy is coming out of her.

She screamed in rage as she still remembered about a mysterious person who told her about her real dad.

FLASHBACK

GLAND G'S SHELTERS FOR HOMELESS

A guy gives her a brown envelope as she slowly takes it and slowly opens it, revealing her father's picture.

"Mr Martin Li is your father, he was also known as Mr Negative and you are his only child, which makes you his heir to his wealth."

"Is he really dead, or are you just hiding him?" Mei asked as she remembered news about Avengers killing Mr. Negative for good.

Her eyes wanted to be watery, but she didn't show it. She wanted to know what happened to her dad as the guy held her hand to calm her down.

"If you were me, I wouldn't trust your mom. She's the one who gave away your dad's hideout."

"You grow up fatherless because of them; they didn't give you a second chance to be with your dad, so if I were you, I would get revenge for my dad."

FLASHBACK OVER

UNKNOWN PLACE

"You all, piece of shit! You're all going to pay," she blasted some walls around in anger as tears fell to her knees, and all she wanted to do was get revenge.

ONE WEEK LATER

ST. RAYMONDS CEMETERY

Shade and Wade arrived at the location as Wade slowly stopped the car after parking it. "Well, that's a long shit of traffic; at least we aren't late."

Wade toasts the key to Shade as Shade quickly catches it and puts it in his pocket. "There was an accident, dad, of course it will cause some traffic, and whose funeral is this?"

"Cassie Lang"

"Ant man's first born?"

"She got murdered." Shade was shocked. He can't believe what he just heard from his dad Wade.

Before he could speak he turned around after feeling someone was approaching them and it was Stephen Strange with someone else. He didn't notice who it was as Stephen began to speak. "So Wade, this is your son. I remember him when he was small."

"Well, time really flies, is it like Mr Strange?"

Stephen nodded and said, "Anyway, Shade, it's nice to see you again. I don't know if you remembered me putting you in your crib and giving you toys to play with, but I'm glad to see you again."

Wade chuckled as he remembered Stephen giving Shade toy cars as he remembered Stephen wanted to be a father too that time.

"Well, after waiting, I finally have three kids, two girls and one boy." Stephen smiles and as Ziggy smiles besides at Stephen.

"And this is my eldest Ziggy, Ziggy this is Shade, Wade Wilson's only child."

Ziggy and Shade smiled looking at Stephen before looking at each other and froze at their place.

FLASHBACKS

SIXTY-THREE AVENUE

Shade noticed a reckless and speedy driver from afar. He didn't waste any moment. He ran to the girl as fast as he could. As soon as he reached her, he quickly grabbed her left arm and pulled her closer to him. As the reckless and speedy driver almost hit them, Ziggy accidentally fell on top of him as the driver started to drive away, leaving the scene.

Shade's blue eyes met Ziggy's brown eyes. They looked at each other for a while but then snapped back to reality and helped each other to stand up. "Are you okay, miss?" Ziggy nodded.

"Keep safe next time, okay? Many people here are reckless," Shade said to Ziggy.

He didn't notice his wrist watch suddenly fall and break. Shade looked at the car and noticed it was the car of his target.

She noticed her phone was on the ground. "Good thing you saw that. Thank you so much."

She kneels down to get her phone from the ground without her noticing; Shade had already left to chase the car that almost hit them.

"Thank you-" she said once she turned her head back on the guy, but he was no longer there.

"Thank you for saving my life." she continued as she wondered what the guy's name was.

She saw a broken wrist watch on the ground and she knew it wasn't hers.

She picked it up and wondered where and when she could see him again.

FLASHBACKS OVER

They can't speak to each other but they look at each other while their Dads talk to each other.

Two of them aren't talking until Ziggy clears her throat. "Hey Shade... Can we talk alone?" Shade nodded. Soon they went away from their dads.

She soon opens her black purse and reveals his wristwatch.

"You accidentally left this behind and it was broken, so I decided to find an expert to fix this."

Shade gasped; he thought he lost the wristwatch his mom gave him before she went away. He slowly took it from her and smiled, "You don't know how much this means to me; it was a gift from my mom last time I saw her."

Meanwhile, Maxine was doing all she could to comfort Casey, but she kept crying. At the same time, Maxine noticed Cassie's biological mother, who is now showing up after leaving Cassie behind.

"Bea"

Bea looks at her sister as Maxine points from afar, and she also notices Maggie Paxton, the ex-wife of Scott and of course, the biological mother of Cassie.

"I thought she's in Argentina."

Bea and Maxine both looked at each other they have strong feeling that the funeral will be ruined.

The ceremony is about to start in a few minutes.

Meanwhile, MJ and Peter both approached where other people were gathering around for the ceremony while MJ was feeling dizzy. She had been having morning sickness since early that day. She feels like she wants to vomit at any time. The last time she felt this was when she was pregnant with Arachno, Arachna and CJ.

"You okay?" Peter held her hand and squeezed it and MJ nodded before looking at him.

Peter smiles at her but then let her talk "Peter I think I'm pregnant again."

Before Peter could talk they heard a loud noise. "Scott!"

Maggie was out of her place, running towards the ceremony. Sharon and Bucky were the first people who went to try to stop her.

Soon Sharon was holding Maggie back, trying to forbid her from making a scene at Cassie's funeral. "You let me go! You bitch!"

Maggie barks at Sharon.

"Hey! Don't you dare talk to Sharon like that!" Bucky barked back angrily towards Maggie.

Bucky defends the mother of his two children as Maggie tries to push Sharon out of her while Sharon is trying her best to hold her back.

"I don't care! I want to talk to Scott!" Maggie barks back to Bucky while Bucky's metal arm slowly draws a fist as Maggie tries to push Sharon; soon she pushes Sharon on the ground.

Bucky quickly runs to Sharon and looks at Maggie. "Hey you don't have to do that!"

People from far away gasp when they finally notice what's happening. Raven and Rocket are standing next to each other.

"Who's that?" Raven asks.

"Cassie's biological mother." Rocket answered her and they looked back at the scene where Maggie is making a scandal.

"Well, where has she been all this time?"

"She left Cassie and Scott when she's a kid."

"And now she's here to get the best concern mom award?" said Raven bitterly.

Casey, Hope, Nicole and Alya were holding Scott, giving him signs that he doesn't have to talk to her right now, but Scott shook his head. "Let me talk to her; she's still Cassie's mom."

Scott calmly walked towards Maggie, his ex-wife and the one who gave birth to Cassie. They had up-and-down relationships as a married couple, but Scott doesn't want to argue with Maggie specifically about Cassie's funeral.

Wanda tries to stop Scott for a second, but her dad Erik, also known as Magento, stops her. "He knows what he's doing; at least he can make peace with the mother of his firstborn."

He whispers to his daughter's left ear, and Wanda nods. The last time she saw her mom alive was seeing her parents arguing to each other like they were close to having divorce in front of kids.

Scott finally approached Maggie. "Maggie, please not here at our daughter's funeral." Scott received a big, hateful slap in the face on the right cheek.

This makes Sharon and Bucky back away from the ex-married couple. There was a moment of silence.

Gwen leaned to Miles's left ear."I think we need to call dad right now."

To her husband as Miles nods, slowly grabbing his phone from his pocket, and excuses himself to be somewhere no one can see him.

"Scott, why did you let this happen?!! You let her die!"

"You left her For him. Didn't you?"

Maggie Sob and she knew that left her daughter to Scott when she chose another man over her marriage. "I left her to you because I thought you wouldn't let anything bad happen to her."

"Everything happened too fast; no one predicted this; no one alright, Maggie? If you are angry, I'm angry at myself too because I wasn't there to save her!"

Scott saw and took a deep breath. He saw Nicole was about to approach them, but he gave her a sign of no.

"But let me slap this truth for you. I was there for her when she needed a mom besides her when you weren't."

"But I promise to you that I will find who did this and make them pay." Maggie tears fall down from her eyes, but instead of comforting Scott for the loss of their only child together.

She drew a fist from her left arm. "If you can't find the killer, then I will take Cassie's corpse with me and transfer her to a new cemetery away from you."

Soon Jeff arrived and Miles point at Maggie Jeff went to Maggie and assist her to leave.

ONE HOUR LATER

"What do you mean you two only sign up divorce papers without going inside of the court without asking the court who will have Cassie?" Scott sighs and nods as Nicole asks her dad.

"Dad I don't want her to take Cassie from us, we are Cassie's family."

"I understand she's upset but once we find out who did this I'm hoping she will see and understand that Cassie loves us." Nicole said holding Scott.

"She can't have Cassie. She left Cassie at a young age. I won't let her take her," Alya said angrily as hope tried to calm her down.

"She's still Cassie's mom," Hope said to Alya. She doesn't want a war between this family.

"Let's hope this investigation won't take long," Casey said with a sigh.

WINTER SOLDIER'S GYM AND CAFE SHOP BUILDING THREE

"So no parents?" Rocket asks Raven but it wasn't in a mean way.

"Look, I don't mean in a rude way." Soon Raven calmly answered Rocket.

"Yeah I have no parents and don't worry I don't think you ask me in a rude way but yes I'm an orphan." Rocket and Raven exchange smiles at each other.

"May I ask a question?" Raven nods as she drinks latte.

"What would you do if you finally met them?" This caught Raven off guard and made her freeze.

Rocket just waits for her to answer. He drinks his coffee as Raven doesn't know what to say at first but she confidently looks at Rocket and simply answers.

"Of course I will be mad because they left me behind but at the same time I want to know what happened. I want to know what really happened and if I get the reasons I will decide to forgive them or not."

Rocket nods his head understanding her "That's right everything happened for a reason and who knows what's your parents reason and let's hope what their reasons won't end up hurting your feelings."

Meanwhile, Erik kept spoiling his grandkids Anya, Rosabelle ,Aether along with Raffaele, Violet and Erebus, chuckling, loving getting spoiled by their grandpa. "Get everything you want, and I will pay for it, trust me."

Erik watches his grandkids run to the cashier and Wanda facepalm as Tony grins at her when he is standing behind her. "Honestly Wanda I don't blame him, grandparents gotta spoil their grandkids."

"Really dad? I ask you before hanging out with them no spoiling them. I just said that like 20 minutes ago" Wanda has an annoyed face but Magento just grinned.

"And I didn't agree with you talking, but I didn't agree, and besides, I only see them when I'm available, okay? Now let's spoil them and shut your mouth there, sweetie." After Erik says this, Tony tries not to laugh while Wanda tilts her head to her head.

"Easy there, Wanda; jeez, you remind me of your mom." Erik was trying to hide his fear against his daughter when Wanda tilted her head.

Wanda turned around and saw Logan, Ororo, with Jean and Charles. Soon Tony excused himself to Magento as he went to Matt.

As the Maximoff and Romanoff cousins finally ordered what they wanted they turned around and saw Logan,Ororo with Jean and Charles talking to Wanda.

"Wooo, is that who I think it is?" Raffaele asks in surprise.

As Rosabelle and Anya nod confirm it to Raffaele , Crystal Chuckled "Charles is Wanda's mentor when she's a kid,”

All eyes on Crystal as Crystal continued.

"Storm is Pietro's Godmother while Logan is Wanda's Godfather."

"And of course Jean is Wanda and Pietro's cousin on their mother's side." This makes the cousins stunned

"Gosh, that's horrible.” Liam Said as Mike Response.

"I know right I hate killers and rapists"

Apollo remembered the night Mike try to force himself to Hestia despite that Hestia show no interested at him, Hestia was quiet soon Apollo stood up angrily at Mike

"You are such a Hypocrite." Hestia froze. Liam, Arachna , Arachno and CJ look at Apollo and Mike.
