Tony doesn't die in this and nor does Nat, her and Clint just get the stone.

~Y/n's POV~

Of course mine and Steve's relationship wasn't normal but..it was amazing to me. He would always tell me how he didn't think he could love again after Peggy but after he met me he fell in love. I understood that he still loved Peggy, who wouldn't? Sometimes though, I felt like he would compare me to her and it hurt because I could never be Peggy, no matter what I did but I could try.

I curled my hair, wore red lipstick, wore longer skirts than girls my age were wearing and I wouldn't talk the way people did now. It seemed to make Steve happy, I figured if I kept doing this he would start loving me the way he loves Peggy. Bucky, Steve's best friend took notice in how I had changed. I went from teaching him the ways of the world now to asking him about the world then. He hated that I did this to myself and he couldn't hold it in much longer.

"Y/N can we talk..?" Steve said as he walked up to me. I was cooking in the kitchen with Wanda. He looked at Wanda and she nodded before walking out. "I noticed...I noticed how you changed, how you started dressing, acting, pretending to be someone..someone you aren't and it pains me to see" Steve whispered. My heart stopped and I froze. "I love you y/n...maybe not the way I love Peggy but..that doesn't matter because she's long gone now..and I'm with you" Steve added. I nodded and looked down. He said he didn't love me the way he loves Peggy. That was the only thing running through my mind. He loves her more. I could never compare to her. Never.

~a few months later~

Thanos was had came to earth. He was so powerful and so scary. I didn't know how the team was going to beat him but I knew we could. We just needed to focus. "Leave, Leave well you can! We won't have to fight. You can..you can go!" I tried yelling at the tall purple thing in front of me. "Little one, I can't leave. I'm sorry" He said. He snapped his fingers and all of a sudden Peggy was there. Not old, wrinkly Peggy, but Young Peggy. "St-Steve..am I really here?" She said softly. Steve's eyes filled with tears, his lips formed a smile as he walked up to Peggy. He wrapped his arms around her gently and hugged her. "I have missed you..so much" He whispered to her, but with my powers I could here. "I tried to move on, it didn't work, It's always been you" He added. My heart began to break, eyes filled my eyes and my breathing quickened. Peggy pulled away from the hug and kissed him gently. I let out a shaky gasp and grabbed onto Bucky for support. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Meanwhile Thanos was winning, he had left and was fighting Tony and Peter and others. I couldn't care though. I just couldn't. I sobbed into Bucky's shoulders as he held onto me. I should have known that this would have happened, in the end it's always her.

~after the snap~ ~Third person~

Steve had lost Peggy, Bucky, Sam, Wanda, and Y/n. He was sad, angry, but he had a war to fight. He was all alone, ready to fight Thanos. That's when he heard "On your left" and here came everyone he lost, expect Peggy.

~Y/n's POV~ ~After the battle~

I was exhausted but so happy to be back. Steve was leaving to go return the stones when he called me over. He had already said goodbye to Bucky, I guess it was my turn. He grabbed me gently and hugged me. I sighed and buried my head into his neck as I hugged back. I knew what he was doing. I knew it was going to hurt, but he deserved to be happy. I kissed his cheek gently before I watched his leave. In the end...it was always her.
