School - A.O.S.L.I.L.P.S. (Academic Of Simple Learnings In Life Public School)

"Quinn?" My teacher's voice rung out in the heavy silence as I trudged in the class. I was absent for a week, looking after my siblings. Fortunately, I hired a babysitter, and Querida and I were able to return to school.

"Yes?" I asked in a bored tone, sitting at my desk.

"Where were you this past week?" My teacher's voice was quiet and deadly sharp.

"Oh, nothing unusual. Just trying to order my new house with my two siblings, hiring a babysitter, negotiating deals with the local Mayor, signing contracts, looking for a job, arranging my parents' funeral, et cetera." The whole class was staring at me by now. Seriously, this attention is getting petrifying. I could feel my cheeks starting to burn slightly.

"And why were you doing all this?" My teacher, Ms. Burns asked me. Her gaze softened by 350%.

"Oh," I replied, trying to sound sad. "My parents died in a car crash, so I have to order everything, since I'm the oldest sibling. The usual."

Ms. Burns ran out of the class. I buried my face in my hands, feeling depressed. I didn't even notice when one of my classmates stopped by my desk.

"You kay?" he asked. I nodded my head, then inclined it at him. "I know how you feel."

I stared at him, shocked. Then again, he was Marked, a Half-Blood, and a Cahill. Tomas, son of Poseidon, had a Phoenix as a Spirit Animal. Nothing unusual.

"My house is empty often. I bet we could...." His voice trailed off. "Lets talk about this on Skype after." I nodded slightly, once.

Ms. Burns ran in, panting. She held a piece of paper in her hand. She read it.

Dear Quinn,

We need you, now.

From: Camp Half-Blood.

So that's were I have to go now. 

Camp.
