MADISON GATES had the blood of a treasure hunter pulsing through her veins. Or, as her late dad would call themselves, a "treasure protector." She didn't want to admit it to herself but after graduation, she was lost on where to go in life. Until one night everything changed.

HENRY SINCLAIR wanted nothing more in life than to help his country. He was a month shy of graduating high school when his father was elected by the American people to become the President of the United States. During those four years in office, Henry hid away who he was and became the person the country wanted him to be.

JADE ANDERSON was a tech wizard which had her on the FBI watch list. She also had been the loyal best friend of Madison Gates since seventh grade. Always right there in her shadow and there for when she needed her- no matter the cost.

LYDIA SINCLAIR was 'America's Sweetheart' and had secured that title since her dad started his presidential campaign. Coffee Addict. Animal Activist. A girl with a crush on her brother's best friend.

FINN MATTHEWS had a rough upbringing. Raised in foster homes since he was a toddler after his mom (battling with an intense drug addiction) was deemed unfit by the court to raise her son. Fate brought him to the Sinclair family and only fate would be enough to tear them apart.

CAROLINE PHILLIPS wasn't happy with the girl she saw when she looked in the mirror. Having the life of the Vice President's only child wasn't as challenging as Henry and Lydia's was. But she felt isolated the majority of her life- hiding away in her lab amongst her school work and dreaming of a world where she could love who she wanted to love.

TOGETHER they find themselves continuing the hunt that was left behind by Ben Gates for his daughter to finish. They believed it to be easier than it was- each clue just leads to another clue which only circles back around. Relationships are tested. Friendships are formed- some mended. And Madison learns early on what it truly means to be a 'Gates' and how it was exactly 'that' that killed her father.

And, quite frankly, I hate speaking of TRUE politics as everything is shit and everyone can't be trusted soooo .. zip your lips on the matter unless it's the fictional political world I've created. AUTHOR'S NOTE — I can't tell you when I started planning this book, but it's been a handful of years. And, to be honest, I'm still planning this book as I write this intro. But I need to stop wasting time and put this out into the world so y'all can see it exists. This series is gonna be insane. You readers are in for such a wild ride. It has been and will continue to be my favorite story to plan. I've fleshed out these original characters of mine (not just the six main ones) so much to the point that they feel so real to me. I hope you enjoy this book and fall in love as much as I have <3 !!
