(GRACE'S POV)

I don't know how or why my little sister fell in love with Miles Quaritch. My sister was a kind young woman and she fell in love with that nasty old man. I was never okay with him being in the same room as her. I noticed the longing looks he gave her whenever he saw her. When I found out they were dating I wanted to make sure she never wanted to talk to him again. I even had a plan on how to get her to hate him. Then they got engaged, got married and then had a daughter together. I raised Amanda ever since she was a newborn baby. Sitting inside this cell with Norm and Jake, I had a lot of time to think about everything. I noticed Jake was so very upset with a tear-stained face. Right before we were thrown into this cell his sister and daughter were dragged away and taken somewhere else. The soldiers laughed and mocked Jake as he cried and begged them to not take his sister and daughter away from him. He is a father and a brother and the pain he must be feeling must have been unbearable. I then thought of Amanda again. I always felt a more motherly love towards her than any kind of sisterly love. I doubt I will ever be a mother so Amanda was special to me. She gave me the chance that I would never have again. I wiped a few stray tears that fell down my face and took a deep breath.

(PARKER'S POV)

I was upset with everybody right now. Penelope Zdinarsk and Xavier Chacon were traitors and were standing out of the prison cells free by the orders of Miles Quaritch all because he was scared of Alicia Zdinarsk. The mention of that man's name made me even more upset. His smoking hot wife could've been my wife. But this old man managed to grab her attention. I was now talking to him when Xavier Chacon bumped into me.

"Sorry Selfridge I-."

He didn't get to finish his sentence  because I slapped him in the face as hard as I could. He dropped the paperwork he was carrying and was now trying to pick them all up. Xavier looked shocked and everyone else froze. Penelope walked over to Xavier.

"Parker why don't you calm down."

"Shut up you stupid f"!$("; blonde b;"+."

I was knocked to the ground. Penelope and Xavier were holding back Alicia Zdinarsk. She was yelling a variety of very colorful words. She only calmed down when Xavier held her in his arms and kissed her neck.

"You had it coming you m!":$; f*:#($- b'*$;."

"Z-Dog, calm down."

Even when he tried to sound like the authority here I started to finally lose my temper.

"I'm starting to get really tired of your attitude Quaritch."

"Like i'm scared of you Parker. A little bit of power and you think you own all of us."

"I can have every single one of you fired and off of this planet."

"You know Parker you should use nicer words."

"Shut up Penelope."

"Don't talk to my sister like that. One thing you won't do is make threats at my little twin sister and boyfriend."

"Zdinarsk stop babying her. She's only 5 minutes and 47 seconds younger than y-."

I didn't get to finish because she pulled out her knife and pointed it at me.

"Slice it the right way and it cuts off like butter. And I am not talking about your throat."

At this point I noticed a lot of the men started to leave. This woman scares half of the people here. Penelope and Xavier had to drag Alicia away from the room.

(MILE'S POV)

I don't know what's gotten into Parker. He does realize that Z-Dog can and will kill him.

"Parker, shut up already."

"Don't tell me to shut Quaritch. I hate to imagine what Amanda will do if she finds out what you've been doing behind her back."

Everyone froze and became quite very fast. Because they knew to never put my wife's name in their mouths unless they wanted an early death. I wanted to put a gun to Parker's head right now for threatening me with my wife.

"Why did you just bring my wife's name into this?"

"Ohhh I'm so scared of you. I can have all you fired right now. I bet your wife would be devastated if she found out about your affair w-."

I slammed him into the wall and hissed at him. He struggled but he was too weak to actually escape my grip.

Paz Soccoro was nothing but a drunk mistake. I wanted nothing to do with that woman. Then she told me that she was pregnant. I told her I wanted nothing to do with that boy she gave birth to. I threatened to ruin her entire life if she ever told Amanda, my beautiful and wonderful wife, about our affair. I don't know how anyone found out about it. But that woman was nothing but a drunken affair that I wish I could take back. I started to tighten my grip on his neck.

"Listen to me Parker, my wife and daughter mean more to me than anyone else on this base. I won't hesitate to make your death look like an accident. So if you want to keep your life intact then I suggest that you keep my family's safety out of your mouth."

I threw him onto the ground and stormed out of the room. I had to go find my wife and daughter. They are the only ones that can calm me down right now.

(MANSK POV)

I walked out of the room after hearing that Miles Quaritch cheated on his wife out of a drunk affair. He threatened Paz Soccoro that he would ruin her life if she ever told Amanda about their affair. Then a boy was born out of that affair. Once I was in my room I started crying. I regret working with the RDA. I wanted
to switch sides or at least die fighting to be a better man. I loved Amanda, she is my friend. When Amanda first arrived on Pandora and it was common knowledge that a lot of people had a crush on her. (Including me). But I made a decision that if I couldn't be in her life as a lover than I would want to be in her life as a friend. And that was good enough for me. I just know that Amanda will be devastated when she learned that Miles cheated on her and had a baby with a different woman. She doesn't deserve that type of pain. And the worst thing about it is that Paz Soccoro had no idea that Miles Quaritch was a married man who already had a family. I talked to Paz and even met her son. He was such a sweet little boy. And then I heard about what Lyle did to Anna Sully from Xavier. I wanted to kill him. When I told Walker this she already gave me a few ideas on how to make Lyles death look like an accident. I knew then and there that I didn't want to stay on the RDA's side anymore. Walker told me that she felt the same way that I did.

I stood up and looked out the window. There was something special about Amanda. She had a way of convincing people to stay loyal to a certain side with only a few simple but very wise words. I made my decision and now I have to figure out the best way to protect her. My loyalty lies with Amanda. I just hope it's not too late to switch sides.

(ANNA'S POV)

I was laying down on my bed in the safe room Amanda made for me. Jade was asleep next to me. Amanda told me she made me this room to protect me and to make sure that Lyle Wainfleet never finds out about the baby. I was almost three months pregnant. I smiled as I turned and looked at the link pod she managed to set up for me. I plan on linking to my Avatar when I got done taking a nap. I was really exhausted mentally and emotionally from all of the stress that has been happening these last couple of months. I closed my eyes and hoped that whatever I woke up to that I would be able to handle it.
