(TRUDY'S POV)

I was so excited for this girl's night. Amanda and Penelope said that they were bringing a new girl with them. I had a few different snacks and drinks: cheesy chips, pretzel sticks and because Amanda is a person who believes that everyone should eat healthy I also got fruit slices. The only drinks I got were water and sweet tea bottles. I couldn't wait. I heard a knock on the door and opened it. I saw Amanda and Penelope with Jake Sully's sister. I motioned for them to come. Once they did we all hugged each other. I turned and looked at Anna. I tapped on Amanda's shoulder.

"Amanda can you translate for me? I want to talk to Anna?"

"Of course I can."

I turned to look at Anna.

"Hi Anna, my name is Trudy. You probably already met my big brother , Xavier. I'm excited to become another friend to you and if you ever need help with anything just ask me."

Amanda translated everything for me. Anna smiled and started to sign back to Amanda. When she was finished Amanda looked at me with a smile.

"Anna said that she is also excited to get to know you and to become your friend. She also thanks you for your offer and will definitely tell you if she needs help with anything."

"Okay, now let's get this girls night started."

-two hours later-

(PENELOPE'S POV)

We were all laughing like crazy now. After playing many games, eating all the snacks, and drinking almost all the water and sweet tea we were now telling each other stories about our families.

"Penelope no way you sister did that."

"You can bet your heart she Trudy. She told that man not to mess with me and you know what he did. He called her a m:;!;:( f)+&'( b"$#_."

"And then she broke his nose."

"After she destroyed his car to bits."

Amanda chuckled causing us to look at her.

"Okay Amanda, do you have any overprotective husband stories you would like to share?"

She placed her half empty bottle of water down on the table and turned to Anna. She signed something to her and then looked at us.

"What did you tell her Amanda?"

"I just asked her if she was willing to hear a funny protective story. And she said yes as long as I translated for her."

Me, Trudy, and Anna were paying attention waiting for Amanda to start talking.

(AMANDA'S POV)

I sat down and took a drink of my water. I took a deep breath before starting to talk.

"Okay this happened about a week after me and Miles first got married. We were taking a small walk together in the hallways when a newbie approached us. At the time we had new recruits arrive a day before this happened. He was a young man with tan skin, brown hair and green eyes. He knew who Miles was but didn't know I was his wife because every now and then we will get a newbie who doesn't bother going to the briefing because he or she doesn't think they need to."

I began to chuckle at the memory.

"Well this newbie probably thought I was a secretary because at the time I was twenty four years old. He had a smug look on his face and thought he had a chance with me. I noticed Miles was starting to get tense and he started to go into over-protective husband mode and looked like he was about to rip this boy's head off. He started making inappropriate comments and that was really making his temper rise. He then tried to grab my arm and make me go with him. Well that made the teapot tip over. Miles grabbed that boy by the throat and hissed at him."

"He hissed?"

"Yes he did girl's. Well let's just say that boy was dishonorably discharged and was blacklisted so bad that he wasn't ever going to have a future anywhere ever again."

I finished talking and signing and looked at my friends' faces. They were all trying to hold in there laughter and were trying hard not to laugh at the top of their lungs. Which didn't last long because soon Trudy and Penelope were both laughing like mad people and Anna was chuckling to herself. I yawned a bit and stood up stretching. It was almost time to head back to our rooms. I stood up and stretched.

"Girl's I have to go back to my room."

Penelope pouted.

"Why do you have to go so early tonight Amanda?"

"Because I am a mother Penelope. And I have to pick my daughter up from my sister's room tomorrow. Penelope, Trudy let me tell you girls something. If you are ever blessed with the chance of becoming a mother when you hold your firstborn child you are going to fall in love in a whole new way. Firstborns have a special and strong hold on their parents hearts. And Belle is my firstborn. I will see you all again tomorrow. Okay."

I walked out the door and headed towards my room.

(ANNA'S POV)

I watched Amanda walk out and leave. I noticed what time it was and noticed that we had to leave. I grabbed my pad of paper and pen and started to write something. I handed it to Penelope.

"Can you and Trudy walk me back to the room I share with my brother and niece please?"

I noticed Trudy ask Penelope something and Penelope handed her the paper. Trudy nodded and both her and Penelope stood up. Trudy wrote on the back of the paper and handed it back to me.

"Of course we will walk you to your room, Anna. We are friends now and friends look out for each other."

I smiled as me and my new friend's walked together. I felt safe knowing I have people who can protect me when my brother can't.
