Chapter Sixteen

*Zuko's POV*
It had been three days since Elizabeth called herself "Princess". I had left it for the others to deal with her. All I was waiting for was for Armelle to wake up. She could make everything right again! I hated this, not being able to do anything, having to sit around uselessly and wait. It was horrible.

I was currently laying down on a bed in my room. Well, it wasn't really my room. We all decided to go down a hallway and find a room to stay in. The place we were at sure was strange. You would be walking along, just looking around, and every door you tried was locked. But then, out of nowhere, a door would open and whatever you needed, say, a bathroom(Sokka said that happened to him) or a bedroom(that happened to all of us). Katara even found a kitchen, and Aang found a training room fully equipped to what he needed to continue training the elements. To be honest, I didn't see what he was supposed to do. There was obviously a bigger power in work than the Fire Lord, and he definitely couldn't beat them... I mean, who could? Maybe Armelle knew a way...

Sighing, I rolled over in my bed. If only Armelle would wake up! I was getting more stressed and anxious by the day. There weren't many distractions here, and I didn't want to face Elizabeth. I just couldn't, not when she didn't even know who I was, or who she was...

Okay, now I really needed something else to do. Standing up, I decided to take a walk. Perhaps this place could give me a distraction....

*Elizabeth's POV*
Once again, I was sitting on my bed, trying to remember. I had to have other memories!
The girl and boy in blue had tried to convince me of several things: such as my name, and where I was from, and other things that made no sense. I boy shook my head to them and refused to talk. I don't know why, but sometimes my mind got all weird- it was like there was something else that was making me be stubborn and refuse to listen to the other people here. Wherever here was...

Sighing, I got up from the bed and went over to a desk across the room. There was a notebook and a pen set out. Wait, I thought, what the heck is a notebook and pen...?
Whatever... I picked it up and drew a line in on the paper.

I started to feel weird again... But it as much stronger! Shaking my head, I tried to make the feeling go away, but it was no use. There was a force that was taking over me, something strong. My body went rigid, and my arm holding the pen started moving over the paper. I couldn't move! My arm was moving on its own, and I couldn't control anything!

After a few moments of the sound of the pen scratching over the paper, I collapsed to he ground, ripping the page of the notebook as I fell. What was happening?!

My mind started burning, as horrendous images of war and torture and suffering flashed through my head. Tears started streaming down my face and onto the ground at the terrible feeling it gave me. My whole body was aching and my head hurt.

"No... Make it stop..." I managed to whisper. I could talk!

Realizing that I could make noise, I screamed. The things going through my mind...

*Zuko's POV*
I was walking along the hall, and I heard someone scream, loud and full of terror. It sounded like... Elizabeth!

I started running down the hall, reaching the lounge room where everyone else was now. They all looked disturbed, for they must have heard it, too. After a pause, there was another scream. Now I was sure that it was her!

I sprinted down get hallway, the gang following after me. Elizabeth's door swung open, and all of us rushed in. She was laying on the ground with a piece of parchment beside her. Her head was in her hands, and she looked truly frightened.

Moving across the room, I kneeled down beside her.
"What's wrong? Why were you shouting?"

"The people... The suffering... The pain... Make it stop!" There were tears running down her face, dripping onto the carpet.

Katara was standing beside me as she picked up the paper. Her expression morphed into one of  shock as she read it. Her face had gone pale.

"Well?! What does it say??" Toph asked.

"It's from... Alpha, Armelle's eldest brother. It says, 'I may not be able to read your minds while you are there, but I have a active link to the stupid Earth girl. She's the first to suffer, the first of many. You all are next. Even you, Gamma. Beta and I are coming. From, Alpha'"

I turned to Elizabeth. "What are you seeing?"

"War. Suffering. Bloodshed. Torture. Pain." She whispered.

"They are coming for us, aren't they?" Aang said solemnly.

"What are we going to do?" Sokka asked.

"What we need," I looked up at Katara, "is Armelle."

"Well, there may be a way... But it may be useless." She glanced at the gang, then at me. "She may be able to hear us. Let's try talking to her."

And there you go!
Hello, purple ducks! I am so so so so sorry for not updating. I'm doing this all on my iPod now since wattpad on any computer is utterly useless. I wouldn't have been able to update this at all for who knows how long if I didn't have access on here.
Anyway, I'm going to try to continue this. Like, nice updates that aren't months apart.

So! Yeah! Pretty much, I'm back in business! :D
Oh, and I'm going to be posting a new story soon, I think. Probably.

Okay! And thank you so much for sticking with me and waiting! I love you all!

~Nat
