As the two of you get inside of your house, you saw your halmoni just came out from her room, her face brighten up when she saw you with Jin beside you.

"Nice to see you again halmoni." Jin greeted her with a smile.

"Oh, Jin...It's nice to see you too." She happily said and hugged him, Jin also hugged her back.

"I invited him to join us for lunch." You said and your halmoni just happily nod agreeing with you. "I'll go to the kitchen to cook, feel at home Jin." You said and headed to the kitchen leaving Jin with your halmoni at your small living room.

"Jin?" Your halmoni called him getting his attention.

"Oh, yes?" He looked at her, they sat on the couch.

"So, tell me...how did you two became friends?" She asked him curiously still wearing her smile.

"I transferred to her school, and we became classmates..." He said and smiled as he remember the first time he met you.

"She didn't have a friend ever since she was a kid, until you came into her life as a friend." Your halmoni said, Jin looked at her, listening well to your halmoni telling your story when you were a just a kid, how you cared and loved her, and the way you pretend that you are okay even though it's not. Those tears you hide behind your smile, those scream of sorrow behind your laughter, when you lie everytime you got a bruises or cuts and you say that you just tripped on a rock. Your halmoni knows even if you didn't show it or tell her. As she's telling those things about you, tears escaped from her eyes. "Oh, sorry I got emotional.." She said and wiped her tears.

"It's fine halmoni." Jin said, holding her hand and gave her a comforting smile.

"Jin, I know this is too much to ask but you are the only person I know and sure to trust with." She said.

"What is it?" Jin asked her.

After you finished cooking the spicy naengmyeon and kimchi stew you look for a big bowl for the kimchi stew.

"Where did I put those?" You rested your hands on your waist then opened the lower compartments but it's not there. "Maybe it's in the upper compartment." You muttered under your breath and sigh. You get a chair and stood on it but it's still not enough for you to reach the knob so you tiptoed to open the upper compartment and you successfully did it but the big bowl that you are looking for is at the upper part which is hard for you to reach it, you tiptoed and stretched your right arm more hoping you will reach it. "Just a little bit..just a li--whoa!" But you lost your balance, you closed your eyes and waited for your body to meet the floor but you didn't because someone catched you.

Wait, what? You mentally asked.

You opened your eyes and saw him, your eyes meets his own dark brown orbs, your face is only three inches away from his face, your arms around his neck as he is carrying you in a bridal style, you feel like the time stops, and silence filled the air around you and only hear your heart beating fast, didn't know what to say as you are lost in the galaxy of his delectable eyes staring deeply at you, his gaze goes down to your lips then he slowly lean closer to you. You don't know what to do and what to say as your brain betrays you and stop working. All you know is that........

You want to stay like that.

As his face getting closer, you closed your eyes waiting for the next thing will happen, you feel his soft breath fanning on your li--

"Y/n? What's happening there dear?" Your halmoni's voice from the living room caught both of your attentions, you opened your eyes again and saw his face only an inch away from yours which in only just one move you could kiss each other.

Both yours and Jin's eyes widened as the both of you realized your situation. He backed away and put you down when a faint sound of footstep came from your halmoni is heard heading to the kitchen, you couldn't looked at each other due to embarrassment.

"Y/n? Jin? What happened? I heard your voice." Your halmoni came to the kitchen with a worried look.

"It's nothing halmoni i'm just trying get the bowl--oh! T-thanks." You said and pointed to the bowl which is now on Jin's hand giving it to you, you get the bowl but didn't look at him.

"Goodness, I thought something bad happened to you." Your halmoni exhaled deeply and walked near to you.

'Something', that word keeps lingering in your mind with the scene of you and Jin almost kissed each other. You mentally slapped yourself and shrugged off those thoughts away and pour the kimchi stew on the bowl.

"Can I help?" His voice startled you a bit but you didn't show it.

"Y-yes s-set those plates o-on the table." You pointed to the plates beside you and mentally slapped again yourself for stuttering.

You choose to be quite during the lunch and just listening to their conversation, Your halmoni noticed your behavior so she asked you. "Y/n, are you okay?"

You looked at them, pretending you are okay. "Yeah, I'm fine." You said and smiled at her, she just nod at you then continued her conversation with Jin, both you and Jin keep stealing glances during the lunch.

After the lunch, you start to wash the dishes, your halmoni is now resting at her room after drinking her medicine.

"Y/n" Jin called you from behind and you just hummed as a respond, you heard his footstep coming near to you. "A-about what happened lately-" he's stuttering, talking about what happened lately then you cutted off his words because you still feel embarrassed.

"Oh, about that. Well, thanks for helping me." You said and gave him a simple smile pretending that you are okay and that 'Almost-kissing-Thing' didn't happened.

"Y-your welcome. Um, let me help you with that." He stuttered a little bit and seems like nervous while rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's fine Jin, you don't have to." You said. He stand beside you.

"Y/n?" He called you again "Are you mad at me?" He asked you which made you stop from what you are doing.

Mad? Am I? You think for a second.

No.

"No...I'm..not mad at you, Jin. I mean, you helped me, so why would I?" You said still pretending you are okay. Then his phone dings up telling that he received a message, he looked down to his phone then back to you. "I need to go now." He said. Then you suddenly remember his jacket.

(A/n:The jacket that she borrowed from Jin. Remember chapter 4?)

"Wait..." You said, heading to your room, getting his jacket from your closet then back to the kitchen. "Sorry I forgot to return this to you." You said handing the plastic bag with his jacket inside.

"It's fine, Y/n." He said and gave you small smile as he get the plastic bag from you.

...

"Thanks for the lunch Y/n, it's delicious. I love it." He said, you and Jin are now standing outside of your house.

"You're welcome, Jin. I'm glad you love it." You said then he slowly step closer to you, you can't help not to feel nervous at his action towards you, but when he came more closer and hugged you.......

The warmth of his body on you made you feel calm, safe and this hug is different, it's not just a normal hug or a friendly hug. You feel this hug is like telling you that you can trust him and this made you hugged him back.

"I'm sorry." The words he whispered in your ear.

"It's alright, Jin." You lightly tapped his back, you know what was that for. You gently pulled away from the hug and gave him an assuring smile while waving. "Bye, Jinnie."

"Bye, Princess." You rolled your eyes after hearing that nickname which made him chuckled at your reaction before leaving.

Jin's POV

While i'm inside the car, looking at the view of the street, what happened lately is still playing on my mind. That moment when I catched her, when she opened her eyes and met mine, the way she softly stare, her lips that look so soft where my eyes landed on and........

I almost kissed her...

I'm really confused at my feelings right now, she's my friend but why did I do that?

"Your highness, are you alright?" I heard Mr Chung asked me.

"Mr Chung, I... I have a question." I said, ignoring his question. I need to figure out this feeling.

"What is it your highness?" He asked while driving, I took a deep breath in and out first and gathered all my guts. I hope Mr Chung can help me.

"What does it mean if you are always thinking of someone--ahh!" my words were cutted off when Mr Chung suddenly stepped on the break which really surprised me. "Mr Chung why did you do that?!" I asked him with my eyes wide while placing my hand on my heart, taking a deep breath in and out to calm myself.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry your highness! Please forgive me I didn't mean it." He apologized with a worried look mixed with fear while checking me if i'm okay.

"I'm fine Mr Chung, you just really surprised me. Continue driving." I said then he did.

"I'm sorry, what is your question again your highness?"

"Please promise me you will stay calm first Mr Chung."

"Yes, your highness."

"Okay. Um, what does it mean if you are always thinking of someone like everyday and everynight that person is always on your mind" I paused and looked at him and he nodded telling me to continue so I did "and you are always happy when you are with that person and if you didn't see that person even just a day, an hour and a minute feels like you're not complete, and your heart beats fast everytime that person came into your mind?" I said and looked at him again.

"Well, It means you are in love. Why did you asked about--" he paused then looked at me curiously "wait, is that what you feel? your highness, are you in love?" He asked me and my eyes widened again when he asked me, I looked down to my lap as i'm thinking for a few seconds about it then looked back.

"Yes, that is how I feel." I seriously said, he was surprised at first then his surprised look was replaced by a proud one smiling at me, the wrinkles on the corner of his eyes are visible, he age so much.

"So you are." He said.

"Am I?" I asked him and he proudly nodded.

"From the way you act when you are around her and the way you speak and your reaction when you are talking about her, well it tells that you are totally in love your highness." He said focusing his eyes on the road.

"I'm in love with Y/n?" I mumbled then looked down to the half heart shaped pendant of my bracelet. I suddenly remember what my mother said to me when I was just a little prince and she's still alive.

"I told you, I saw him standing here...where did the prince go?"

"Hyemi, We have to find him before the king finds out."

I heard the maids said while I'm hiding behind one of the pillars of the palace, I peeked and saw them going to the east wing of the palace, I giggled and run to the west wing, heading to where my mother's favorite spot, the palace's garden and she's right there sitting on a bench beside the small water fountain, reading a book.

"Mother!" I called while running towards her with an open arms and giggling which get her attention.

"Oh, my little prince!" She said and stand up smiling at me with an open arms, I jump to her and hugged her, then she carry me. "What is my little prince doing here hmm?" She asked me and pinched my cheeks.

"Mother, um...it's because..." I said while twiddling with my fingers.

"Jinjin?" She called me, I looked her and saw her still smiling.

"Yes, mother?" I shyly smiled still twiddling with my fingers, she stared into my eyes and sigh.

"I guess I know why you are here. Aish, you little hamster~" she cooed and sat back on the bench with me sitting on her lap. "You should not skip your class Jinjin." She said then my eyes landed on the book beside her.

"What are you reading mother?" I asked her, pointing to the book beside her.

"Oh, this one. Well, it's a love story about the two person living in a two different world." She said

"Love story? What is love mother?" I asked her while staring at the book then I heard her softly chuckled which made me looked at her with a confused look.

"There are various kinds of love Jinjin. You wouldn't understand even if I tell because your just a five years old little prince. There are so many things that you will need to know first before this, but all I can say is once you will find the one for you, the one that has the half of your heart...love appears...and remember this my little prince, you should cherish the one that has the half of your heart forever." She said and i'm just looking at her still confused.
