I pass the bus stop.
Again, some will give me a scornful look.
I almost slip. My eyes fall on the leather dark blue converse.
I have learned a long time ago that what is expensive and branded may not be of high quality.
Why do people notice first what I'm dressed in, what I hold in my hand, and what I have thrown over my shoulders?
Only after all the analysis will notice my face.
Why do people crave first-class clothing, delicate things?
To show the world what they have. What they can afford.
They think they are something more. . .
At least they stroke their ego.
I've been in this vicious circle all my life.
It's sick.
It's pathetic.
Wealth and money will not make you happy.
I regret myself for not understanding it by now. . .
"Man looks upon what is in sight, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16: 7
