The following day Nebula wasn't sure how to process things, but all her stuff was packed, and was saying goodbye to her family. Raven had informed the whole training center about the news, and Nebula was telling her whole family the news.

"Wow! You've been promoted to a Flier?! That's awesome!" Nebula's younger cousin exclaimed excitedly.

"Yeah it is, my dream is finally coming true! I'll finally be a flier!" Nebula cried out happily.

"Congrats cous! I know you're going to be the best Flyer in the universe!" Nebula's other cousin declared as she hugged Nebula.

"Hehe, thanks cous, I hope I can be..." Nebula said, she then looked over to her mom who had a look of worry on her face. "Hey mom, are you happy for me?" Nebula asked.

"Well, I'm terrified for you, but I can't stop you from going. However, remember that if things don't work out you can always come back here and help out around the farm," Nebula's mom said.

After hearing her mom say that Nebula felt very angry, as she felt like her mom was telling her she'd just fail. She felt like her mom wasn't happy for her achieving her dreams and just wanted her to be someone else. Holding back the urge to lash out at her mom, Nebula said as calmly as she could, "Oh I'm sure it'll work out for me Mom!"

She then grabbed her bags and left the house before she'd hear another word out of her mom. 'Ugh! Mom's been like this since dad passed! I get that being a Flyer is dangerous but it's what I want!' Nebula angrily thought to herself.

"Hey sis you ready!" Nori asked as she crouched down to Nebula's size.

"Yeah, let's go Nori, I need some time away from here," Nebula said, still bitter towards her mothers words.

Nori smiled as she was excited to see other Tecncars like her, if she was one. However Nori did feel the anger and hurt from Nebula earlier so she decided to ask her sister about that later. Nebula then started to get inside of Nori when her grandparents raced out of the house.

"Nebula! Wait!" the two called out.

"Huh? Grandma, Grandpa? What's up?" Nebula asked.

"Well we thought we'd make you something to help you feel at home," Her grandmother explained.

"Yeah we know you'll be gone for a few weeks for training, so we decided to give you a gift," her grandfather explained.

The two then pulled out a small box that was wrapped in a bright red bow. Nebula grabbed the box and untied the bow, and inside was a heart shaped locket that had the words, "Love is in here" engraved on it. She recognized it immediately as it was the same one her dad used to wear, it was a gift to him from her mother. Nebula caught a strong whiff of a similar scent and remembered that it was her fathers old cologne.

"This is dads! Why are you giving it to me though?" Nebula was confused about the gift as it was a part of her fathers altar.

"Well he always wore this whenever he went out on training or missions, it had also survived the wave of Reapers that he passed away in," Her grandfather explained.

"Yes, after that we believe that it's good luck and will help you through your training," Her grandmother added.

"Really... Well, thanks! I-I don't know what to say! Thank you so much! I promise I'll never take it off ever!" Nebula exclaimed as she took the locket out and put it on.

"Anytime Neb's now you go on and head out, we don't want you to be late for your first day of training!" Her grandfather first said as her grandmother finished what he was saying.

Nebula nodded and started getting into Nori, who was still excited to go to the training center to meet others of her kind.

"By Grandma! By Grandpa!" Nori called out as she started running to the training center, mainly because she still didn't know how to activate her flying yet.

The grandparents were taken aback by Nori referring to them as her grandparents. However they just assumed it was because she was younger than the other Tecncars and that she didn't know their real names. Sometime later Nori was still running through the streets of the countryside, when she heard the familiar roar of a Tecncars boosters. She looked up and saw Westflyer right above her, looking at her with a face of slight confusion. Remembering what Nebula did the other day, Nori vegan saluted them even though she had no clue what it meant.

"Westflyer sir! Nori Flyer Tecncars in training reporting for duty sir!" Nori stated while holding her salut perfectly.

"Nori no need for that, but why aren't you flying? You'll arrive at the training center much faster that way," Westflyer explained.

"Oh well, I um, I don't know how to fly," Nori explained, feeling a little embarrassed upon revealing that info.

"Oh well let me teach you how to fly then," Westflyer said, not questioning how Nori didn't know how to fly one bit.

"Now it's really simple, just focus your own energy into your boosters and tell them where you want to fly and how fast you want to go," Westflyer explained.

Nori nodded and did what Westflyer told her to do, hoping it would work. Not long after a white and blue sphere formed around a dark circle that was on her back and she started floating up off the ground.

"Wow! Okay! This is giving me weird feelings! Very weird!" Nori cried out as she started getting further and further away from the ground.

However she found it difficult to steer and gain balance, mainly because of the new tail she got as it was constantly throwing her off balance. "Wow! Um Westflyer! I need help on balancing! Please tell me how I can balance with my tail?!" Nori asked in panic as she started floating back and was about to crash into some of the tall pine trees behind her.

Weastflyer reacted and grabbed onto her arms and brought her over to him, making sure she didn't hit the trees before he grabbed her. Thankfully neither herself nor the environment had any harm done so it was all good. "Hey kid, why don't I teach you more at the training center. That way we can avoid you getting hurt and possibly destroying something," Westflyer explained as he held onto Nori.

"Okay but will you hold onto me while I'm flying?" Nori asked.

"Sure, in fact I'll carry you till we get there, my energy boosters were made on my feet so you won't block them. Just watch that tail of yours and make sure it stays away from them," Westflyer explained.

"Alright! Let's go then! I'm excited to see the training center! So is Nebula! She's been dreaming of this moment for a long time and now it's finally coming true!" Nori cried out happily.

Westflyer nodded while smiling and flew off to the training center with Nori. As they were flying Nori decided to ask Nebula about the anger she felt earlier. "Hey Nebs, can I ask you something?" Nori asked.

"Yeah what's up Nori?" Nebula questioned.

"Well earlier before we left the house, I felt a jolt of anger coming from you. So I wanted to ask, but why were you so angry?" Nori questioned.

"Oh that, well, it's... it's just some personal stuff with me and my mom, that's all," Nebula said, not really feeling like talking about her issues at the moment.

The same feeling flowed through Nori so she decided to ask her more questions later. They all soon arrived at the training center, so Westflyer landed and Nori climbed off of him. The other Tecncars and Fliers all looked over to them and when they all saw Westflyer they straightened up and saluted him.

"Everyone, I'd like to introduce the new Tecncars and Flyer, Nori and Nebula," Westflyer declared as he stepped aside, allowing everyone to see Nori properly.

Nori smiled and waved while also opening her chest open, allowing Nebula to climb out. Nebula grinned and waved to everyone while bouncing widely, excited to begin her first day of training. Westflyer then opened up his chest and let Raven out so he could take care of the work regarding Nebula's promotion. The two Tecncars let their partners down to the ground so they could get to work. "Alright, Nebula, you come with me and we'll discuss where you'll be living and sleeping here. Westflyer meanwhile will show Nori where she'll be staying while here," Rave explained.

"Understood, I hope things go well," Nebula said nervous, about everything.

"I know they will kid, I have heard you've been dreaming of this for a long time," Raven stated.

Nebula smiled and followed Raven into the building to have everything sorted out. Nori looked up at Westflyer who ginned down at her, before wrapping his arm around her. He led her to the resting/charging stations where the other Tecncars stayed after a long day.

Meanwhile Nebula and Rave were inside of the main office talking to the head of the training center General Eathans. He was already informed of the new Reapers and about Nebula's promotion, along with the reason why. So he was just having her sign some needed paperwork as it will allow her to be officially a Flyer training. Despite it being boring Nebula knew that it was all a part of protocol so she just dealt with it and signed the documents. She soon finished with all the paperwork so now she waited for Eathan's response.

"Alright kid, welcome aboard to Flyer training, you'll be staying in dorm A2 with three other Flyers. Their names are Carol, Rebecca, and Anthony," Eathan explained as he slid folders containing pictures of the three Flyers on the desk.

Nebula looked down at the folders and took a good look at her new roommates. Rebecca had pale skin with a beauty mark on her cheek, gray eyes and deep black hair. Nebula has heard of her but has never talked to her as the two were three years apart in both age, and status in the Training Center. Carol was a young man who was mixed race with Chinese and Mexican culture, his skin was brown, he had crystal blue eyes, and short shabby brown hair. Finally Anthony was a young man who was of japanese culture, his hair was dark blond, he had heterochromia so one of his eyes were green and the other was blue.

Nebula found each of them interesting with the way they looked and their backgrounds. She'd always liked to have something about herself that made her unique but everything about her was just normal. However now she had an unusual Tecncars so she felt proud about that and hoped others would as well.

"Now Nebula the three Flyers here have more training experience with their Tecncars but you're new here and freshly bounded with her so things will be hard for you to adjust here, but I hope you'll be a great fighter like your father was," Eathan explained.

Nebula nodded as she understood that things will be a bit hard to adjust to, but she was determined to prove herself here. Now with everything settled Nublua was now on her way to her new room. Meanwhile Nori was shown the rest and recharging area for the Tecncars. She was pretty excited to meet other Tecncars, so she watched as Weastflyer opened the door leading into the large room before he led her inside. When she saw the large area Nori was astounded by other Tecncars like her; however, most of them were a bit taller than her by their head.

"Everyone! I like you to meet someone!" Westflyer called out getting the attention of the younger Tecncars. They all looked over to the door where Westflyer was standing and were surprised to see a newbie with him. "This is Nori. She's new here alongside her human companion so I want you all to make her feel welcome," Westflyer explained.

"Hi! Nice to meet you all! I was just made a few days ago!" Nori exclaimed, wanting to get to know everyone here.

"Oh well, Hi, I'm Big Bertha, but you can just call me Bertha," a big red and white Tencars said as she walked up to Nori with a smile on her face.

"Hi Bertha! It's really nice to meet you!" Nori exclaimed while bouncing a bit.

"Hey their newbie, you can call me Thunderblade!" A Blue and black Tecncars called out. Nori smiled at the kind introductions she was receiving from the other Tecncars.

"Alright I'll be showing Nori where she will rest and recharge, after that I want you all to get in your booths to recharge for tomorrow's training session," Westflyer said.

The other Tecncars nodded and went to their booths as Westflyer led Nori to her own. Nori was led to her booth that was in the middle of the area. She looked inside it for a bit before climbing in herself, Nori stood there for a bit and found a bit and looked around inside. She soon found a button inside it that had three z's on it, so even if she hadn't been alive for long Nori figured that the button would allow her to sleep. So she pressed it and the booth closed up and Nori soon found herself falling fast asleep, excitement flowing through her for the next day.

Currently Nebula made it to the dorm she'd be staying in with her roommates. She pressed her new phone up to a scanner and it scanned the ID on it. The light on the door turned green, allowing it to slide right open, when it was open Nebula walked in and got a good look at the dorm. The room had a small kitchen big enough for around four people, a space with a sunken couch, TV, and some workout equipment. To her right were the rooms and she assumed that the bathroom was at the end of the hallway the bedrooms were in.

"Hello? I'm the new recruit Nebula! Anyone here?" Nebula asked, hoping someone heard her.

"Hang on! I'll be there to greet you in a moment!" a girl's voice called out.

Nebula stood there for a moment waiting for the girl who called out to her to come out. After sometime a girl that Nebula recognized as Rebecca from the files she was shown earlier. "Hey you must be the new Flyer right?" Rebecca asked.

"Yeah I am, where are the other two boys?" Nebula asked as she noticed the other two roommates were missing.

"They're asleep right now. I'm more of a night person so I stayed awake a bit later than them," Rebecca explained.

"Oh Okay, I guess I'll see them in the morning right?" Nebula asked.

"Yeah you will, your room is the first one in the hallway so go on and get ready for the night as we've got a big day tomorrow," Rebecca said as she went back to her own room.

Nebula went into her own room to rest up for the night. She opened her room door by scanning her fingerprint on the handle, it slid open allowing her to go inside. The room contained minimal items such as a desk, walk-in closet, and a bed. Feeling tired Nebula dropped all her stuff onto the floor, walked up to her bed, and passed out right on the spot. Allowing herself to be taken away by her dreamland before her first day tomorrow as it was gonna be tough.
