Name~ Ashikaga Masamune (means righteous)

Appearance~ Masamune is 6'2'' and a muscular build due to years of
training and a scar which starts below his right eye and ends to the
left one. He has silk, straight, long blood-red hair which he usually
wears up in a ponytail and has calcined, unnatural light blue eyes.
He casually wears a black kimono with both haori and hakuma. His skin
is pale which proofs the hours he spend training during stormy days.
His posture is straight but that does not reveal an air of confidence
since most of the time he is concentrated to his thoughts, many times
losing himself in them. His face doesn't disclose any clues about his
character as it's impossible to read him just from seeing him; the
expression in his face is straight and emotionless.

Weapon of choice ~ Even though Masamune has trained and succeeds in
wielding a wide variety of weaponry his specialty is tsurugi\ken as he
tends to use nagamaki as well.

Personality~ Masamune as his name reveals, is a righteous man. Patient
to impartial, he is a keen person who would rather wait for the right
time and then attack precisely. Humble and suave to the one he trusts,
steep and sullen with the others. Quiet and observational, hiding in
the shadow analyzing both of the coin's options. Sometimes he appears
arrogant and stealthy revealing the stress he has been under the last
years, making him lack emotions and personal feelings. One feature he
would be recognized for is except his cold manners, is that he is
cunning always finding a way to escape as he uses everything he can in
his advantage. Strict as well to the others but himself as he finds
the strength from inside. Finicky to the work he was done, judging
mostly himself.

Background~ Not much known about his early years. During the year of
1539 a baby was born in the Ashikaga family, but no one knew the
father. It was raised by Ashikaga Yoshihide as three years later his
younger brother was born. Masamune was always known as the black sheep
of his family with results having him training non-stop from the age
of seven till he became a grown up. At the time of the year of 1548 a
group of warriors captured him, taking him with them, teaching him
assassin techniques. He spent four years with them, then he finally
surpassed them and escaped returning home just to find out that the
only member of his family, who was still alive, was his little
brother. Two years ago they had all died from ronin samurais. Masamune
then had to take the leadership, which caused him the stress as he
never transcended their death, leaving an open wound to his heart.
After all of these events he swore to his brother that he would
protect him, so he trained even harder and became one of the most
succeeded samurais in his family history.

Influences decisions in battle~ Masamune is the type who plans before
attacking. So before he attacks he will have studied his opponents'
moves, planned the best strategy and analyzed the options.



Belief~ He believes in his weapons, his katana but never depends on
others. He is afraid of losing them. The only person he believes is
his little brother.
