I am 19 years young!

What and who inspired you into reading and/or writing?

My Great-Grandmother inspired me to do both! She's a goddess.

What was the first book that you read that started your love for reading?

Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery

What was the turning point in your life that you decided to take your writing seriously?

It was when I was 16 years old. My friend and I got into this good series by Lauren Kate and decided, hey, we could do this too, you know! It can't be that hard to write words you enjoy on a piece of paper. Ha, turns out we were in for way more than we bargained for.

What is the inspiration for your stories?

The inspiration is honestly from a mixture of my favorite fallen angel concepts. From the fantasy version to the biblical. I have this obsession with the names, abilities, and history's behind Fallen Angels and I find it hard to resist making my own stories about them.

Do you outline your stories or write whatever comes to mind?

I outline it and then let whatever comes to my mind trail right behind. Like when I'm in the middle of washing dishes a thought pops up in my head. Then I go, well what do you know, that would go great in my book!

What is your method of beginning to writing a book?

To write the names and characteristics of your characters, then jot down the different settings they will live in or be placed in sometime in the book, Make a gripping plot, make the climax of the story even better, then end with the start in mind. Haha, let it marinate.

Do you ever get attached to the characters in your story? If so, what part of their personality or quirks do you find relatable?

Oh my Goodness, YES! I am most attached to Gia. She's my witty, blatant, bad influence, and sociable character. I find all of her traits relatable to me. She is my MC's best friend.

Do you base your characters on people in your personal life, imagination, or both?

Both...The people in my personal life lesser than, though.

What is the best part of writing a story?

Exploring the different characters' traits, habits, and talents. They give me so much more life than I ever thought I could have. If I were without them, I would probably be in a crazy house by now!

How do you deal with writer's block?

WOW! Do not speak of that energy! Seriously though, I listen to music to inspire and prepare for me when I'm finally over it. And I don't care what any author established or not says, Writers Block is NOT an illusion!!

Would you want to see your story or stories be adapted? If so, who would you want to play your characters?

Failure is the first option! Love it and then see what it will do to help you succeed in the long run.
