Hi guys! All you author games veterans can just skip this, as this is a standard game. But this is for the people new to author games.

First and foremost, author games are a writing competition based on the realm of the hunger games trilogy. Overtime, author games have developed into ones that aren't even in the world of hunger games. However, for this game in particular, it is in the world of hunger games.

Now here are the categories explained:

1) Tasks
2) Deaths/Ballots
3) Voting
4) Alliances
5) Sponsorship

1) Tasks:

Every round, there is a task. This task will be a scenario that the Gamemakers have created, and you will have to write your tributes reaction to the scenario. The scenario will most likely contain a compulsory action, such as taking down a mutt, or incorporating a song into your entry etc.

2) Deaths/Ballots

Every task comes with a death count, this means the maximum number of tributes you're tribute either killed or witnessed the death of. This is not compulsory, but the tributes you witness die or kill will add a point to their death counter, so use wisely.

Every task also comes with a ballot count, this is the maximum number of tributes you can ballot. This is also not compulsory but who doesn't want free kills? Your ballot will not be revealed but it will still add a point to the death counter.

3) Voting

After every task, a select number of tributes with the lowest accumulative score will be put up for votes. This number will be specified in the task itself. Then you will either comment or pm me your vote for them to move on to the next round, the number of people you will be able to vote for will also be specified in the voting chapter. The tribute with the highest number of votes will move on while the others will be sadly leaving us.

4) Alliances

This is a complicated topic, as there are many types of alliances. But basically, it is a group of authors/tributes who work together. You're entries do not have to be synchronised as long as you show that you guys are working together in your entries as well.

5) Sponsorship

Sponsorship is when an author is recognised to write particularly well and is rewarded. Task 1 will be a sponsorship task, and after that, each Gamemaker will be sponsoring two tributes. These six tributes will have some perks throughout the rest of the game.
