"Alright, see tomorrow morning! If you live." The bratty kid who dared you to climb Mt. Ebbot laughs and begins to walk back towards town. You turn to your best friend. 

"Y-you don't have to do this. It's just a dare." You nod, but explain that a night in the mountains isn't that bad. Your friend sighs. "I guess you do seem very determined.. I won't stop you." They give you a hug and begin to follow the other kid.

You turn around and continue your hike up the mountain. After a bit, you begin to run. You stop, as a large ravine comes into view, but trip over a vine that was lining the ground. You fall into the ravine, screaming. (Go ahead. Wherever you are, scream like you just fell into a ravine. Do it. I'll wait.)

You wake up on a bed of purple flowers. You carefully stand up and look at your surroundings. There is a hallway leading to a door. You cautiously walk down the hall, and look back at the flower bed. Knowing that such small plants were able to save your life, and may save another, fills you with DETERMINATION.

You turn back to the door and open it, revealing a single purple flower in the middle of a patch of grass. It moves a bit, despite there being no gust of wind. The flower turns around, and you see it has a face. You stumble backwards, tripping over your own feet.

"Woah there! D-don't be scared of little ol' me! Howdy! I'm Flowey." Flowey holds out his leaf like a hand so you can shake it. You hesitate, and the flower looks a bit irritated. "Listen, I know I may seem suspicious, but you really need to trust me." You shake his leaf, and Flowey smiles. "Good, now we just need to avoi-"

"HoI!" You turn towards the voice, to see a small, cat, dog, thing..

"Oh god." Flowey facepalms, or, face-leafs. "Hey, Don't t-trust it!"

"yOu SeEm NeW tO tEh UnDeRgRoUnD! mAyBe TeM cAn ShOw YoU tEh RoPeS!" The world goes black and four buttons pop up.

"YOu SeE dAt LiTtLe HeArT dOwN dEr?" You look down, and sure enough, there a f/c heart protruding from your chest. "DaS uR SOUL! iS tEh VeRy CuLmInAtIoN oV uR bEiNg! DoWn HeRe, ItS aLl AbOuT LV. wUs LV? WhY, LOVE oF cOuRsE! u WaN sUm LOVE, RiGhT?" White sparkles appear next to Temmie. "dEeS r FrIeNdLiNeSs PeLlEtS! dEy GiVe U LOVE! cAtCh ThEm AlL!"

The white 'friendliness pellets' fly towards your SOUL at a slow speed. You duck under them, siding with Flowey, and not trusting Tem.

Temmie has an annoyed expression. "uHm, HOI!!! u StUpId? U gOt CaTcH tEh PeLlEtS!"

They fly at you at a quicker speed than before, but you dodge.

Temmie glares at you. "wElL, fUk DiS." The pellets encircle you and begin to close in. "dIe! TEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE!"

A fireball hits Temmie in the face. "OwIe!" She absorbs into the ground, right before a large trident spear hits her.

The area goes back to normal and you see a female goat monster,  and a male one. The female steps forward first. "My child, are you alright? I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. This is Asgore." You ask where Flowey is.

Asgore steps forward. "Do you mean the purple flower?" You nod

"I'm right over here.." Flowey pops up. You run and hug Flowey. "H-hey! Get off me!" He hisses at you, and you let go.

"If it was not for this flower, you may have died. He came and notified us about you." You walk over and look up at Toriel.
Hug her?

❤Yes  No

You hug her and she hugs you back.

"N-no! G-get away from me you s-stupid ghost!" Another flower pops up next to Flowey. Hes golden and his petals are ripped and damaged.

"Fell Flowey, you ok?"

"T-this stupid g-ghost won't leave m-me alone." Fell Flowey locks eyes with you. "O-oh no, a human.. What I-if one of t-the other Toriels f-finds them!" You question why there are two Floweys.

"Oh yeah, I guess you don't really know what's going on." Flowey pops up in front of you. "Since I'm the Flowey of this universe, I'll explain. Ok listen, there are different universes everywhere. A knew one forms basically everyday. Each has a different timeline and a different story. Every one has the same people, unless they die, but every personality is different. Each world has a different name. Like that Toriel is from the original, Undertale. This Asgore and that version of TEM-TEM you saw, are from Underswap. This other Flowey is from Underfell, and I am from This universe; AUtale. This is the place where all the different versions of all the different monsters hang out, I guess. There are many other Floweys around, but most of them are in their own worlds. Unfortunately, a lot of the Toriels are here. Most of them have gone insane, or just weren't sane in the first place. They will either kill you, or trap you here forever."

"I-I guess it isn't very safe here.. My child, I'm sorry..." Toriel looks away for a second.

"Hello? What is with all this chatter?" Asgore shoves you behind him, and the Floweys pop up next to you.

"Oh thank goodness, it's only AU Toriel." You are still confused. You step out from behind Asgore to see another female goat monster. She looks very weary, and has cataracts covering one of her eyes. Her clothes are more of a blue color, with lighter blue on the top, bottom, and sleeves.

When she sees you, she becomes even more serious looking. "They need to leave."

AU Flowey comes out. "Can you teleport them to the door?"

"Only the child, and one other person." You sit down on the ground, cause you still have no idea what's happening.

Toriel grabs your hand and you stand up. "I will go."

"Ok then. Are you both ready?" Toriel nods, and you look back at AU Flowey before nodding. When you blink, you are in a different place. In front of you is a large door. Toriel looks at you and kneels down.

"My child, there will be many monsters on the other side of this door, but there will always be one to protect you. I know you may not know me enough, or even trust me, but I love you." Toriel leans down and hugs you. You embrace her and you feel tears on your shoulder. Knowing that an almost complete stranger cares enough about you to cry, fills you with DETERMINATION. And a bit of sadness.

She lets go and stands up, beginning to walk back down the hall, but she turns around. "Ahm, please be careful. And s-stay away from Lust Sans. Or any of the Lust characters." You nod and Toriel walks away. You turn around and open the door.
