We all look at Jack, stunned at what just happened. We all snap back to focus when some of the furniture drops back down to the ground, making a loud thump when they do. Everyone jumps, but my attention is still on what Jack just did. He used his power to help me. I'm surprised he was able to calm me so quickly. I'm thankful too, if he didn't, I would of destroyed everything in this room. If my power charges up long enough and Shadow doesn't swap over, I'd release a blast that is as strong as a nuclear bomb. No one moves for a long stretch of time before I pull out a small device from my pocket. Layla takes it as a signal and retrieves an arm band that looks like a small shock collar from the medicine cabinet.  

The band is then wrapped around my left arm bicep and Layla flicks the switch to activate the device. A green light shines from a light on it before a feel a small prick of a needle. Once the device in my hand is turned on, I hold it against the power pack of the arm band. I wait for the device to beep before checking the small screen on it. My jaw drops when I see what comes up on the screen before showing Layla. We both just stare at Jack. 

Mark: "What's going on?" Mark breaks the silence. I clear my throat before standing up and slowly walk over to Mark to show him what it says on the screen.

"This device shows how stable my power level is in a number value. After that I should have a high reading, a thousand being the highest I can reach." After explaining it, I show Mark the small screen and his jaw drops. On the screen shows a one, meaning my power level isn't even noticeable on the device which is why everyone is surprised except for Jack. I made sure to explain it to him too. He's shocked just like the rest of us then he seems pleased for what he was able to do.
