(Sleep paralysis AU)

Balloon was just brushing his teeth, doing basic night routine stuff. But it all happens as soon as he falls asleep. He wakes up in a dream, unaware that he wasn't actually awake at all. He continues his day in the dream as if it was normal. But some things just don't seem to sit right with him.. He discovered that he couldn't feel pain at all, no matter what he tried. He got scared, this wasn't normal at all. Everyone in his dream was being different too. They were treating him unusually kind and respectful. He felt like that was something to be worried about since everyone in the hotel either ignored him or made fun of him. Balloon got scared. He tried to injure himself on purpose but was stopped. Then, it hit him. He was in a bad dream. One that he couldn't wake up from. He freaked out and started screaming and crying in his room, still in the room. But meanwhile in the real world, OJ was worried about Balloon, since he hasn't came downstairs or even left his room. Terrified of what might happen, OJ went to Balloon's room immediately and saw him asleep. But this was no normal sleep. He was crying while tossing and turning. Balloon looked like he was scared and shaking and was also screaming quietly in his sleep. OJ immediately called his husband, Paper. As Paper came he heard OJ trying to comfort Balloon as he's still in his nightmare. When Paper came, he immediately gasped and ran over to OJ, asking what's happening. But OJ didn't know. He was just as worried as Paper. OJ quickly dialed Test Tube, as they were cousins including Balloon. Test Tube came rushing in, also scared for her cousin. Seeing Balloon, she soon realized what was happening with him. She shakily said that Balloon was in a sleep paralysis. As the two husbands heard it, they both started panicking. OJ was the most terrified, he didn't want to lose his cousin. Even though he wasn't the best in the past, he soon became more nicer to Balloon. OJ couldn't bear Balloon having to stay in that horrible nightmare. He screamed if there was any way to wake him up. But Test Tube hasn't had any problems like this. She didn't even know what to do when an actual sleep paralysis happened. Paper hugged OJ, scared to what might happen. They didn't have any idea what to do about this so they left to do research. But Balloon's nightmare became more complicated and more difficult to deal with. Balloon has been going insane. He felt like he was going to be in this dream forever. He counted the days that he's been in this dream. 5 days . 5.. months..? He's been trapped in his nightmare for 5 consecutive days?! OJ.. Test Tube.. FUCK EVEN EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT HIM!! He misses them all.. As soon as he gets out of this mess of a dream, he'll go hug his cousins. Take them out to eat as a family, play games, and more. God.. He just wants to be free from all of this already. But he suddenly had an idea that took him do long to figure out. He'll have to try and kill himself in the 'dream'. Why hadn't he thought of this?? Was he that much of a fucking idiot?! He immediately ran into his 'room' and pulled out some drugs that he secretly took just in case. He'll try any way of suicide to get out of his nightmare. He tried so many things but as soon as he decided to use the knife, he finally woke up. He.. was awake. HE WOKE UP!! He immediately screamed of happiness, alerting his cousins and Paper. They ran up to him and found him awake at last. Balloon immediately went to hug them but he got scared. What if they hated him even more cause of this..? Balloon was about it overthink it when OJ placed his hand on his shoulder. And.. gave him a hug. Balloon was shocked. He hasn't had any interactions since those 5 days.. 5 DAYS WAS TOO LONG!! WHY AND HOW DID HE MANAGE TO STAY IN THERE FOR 5 DAYS?! Balloon starts crying and shaking, hugging OJ back. Test Tube and Paper quickly joined the hug. Balloon was so happy to be back in his real life now..
