Their friends keep wondering as to why Jihoon seems that bitter over the fact that Sunyeong's dating the underclass man. He never seems to be the type to get bitter over others' relationships, and this is about Sunyeong- his bestfriend since forever.

But no one knows how much it hurted Jihoon when Sunyeong called him at nights because he had a fight with his boyfriend and he cried and cried the whole night, Jihoon was the one to sooth him down, and listened to him until he fell asleep.

No one knows how painful it is for Jihoon to know that Sunyeong's in a toxic relationship but can't save him, because even when Jihoon is willing to be the one to offer him his shoulder to cry on, he'll still choose that guy over him.

And Jihoon thinks no one ever understands how pathetic he is, because it's not like he never tried to tell Sunyeong about his feelings. He did confess to him, but all he ever got from Sunyeong was just a sad smile and a saying "let's be just friend", because Sunyeong can't let go of his toxic boyfriend.

So now, Jihoon is sitting alone in the corner of their favorite coffee shop, laughing at himself for being a mess. Seungkwan, oh so dear Seungkwan, Seungkwan is sweet and he never means to hurt anybody, but yesterday Seungkwan snapped at him for giving a mean comment on Sunyeong's boyfriend and told him to "go get a life, really".

But then again, Sunyeong is his life. And he's now with another man.

"Seriously, Seungkwan, I tried."- he wants to say, but nothing ever makes sense anymore, since it seems like everyone in town has heard about him being a bitch over his bestfriend's relationship, and they all looked at him with the question "what's wrong with you, why can't you just be happy for him?".

How can he be happy for Sunyeong when all he ever tells him about his boyfriend is that they agrue a lot and sometimes violence is involved? How can he be happy for Sunyeong when sometimes he comes to class with red puffed eyes and tears stain on his shirt? How can he be happy for Sunyeong when he knows very well Sunyeong is not happy with his relationship?

Jihoon curses himself for thinking like that, because too bad for him, even when Sunyeong is not happy with the relationship, he still chooses that guy.

Sometimes Jihoon wants to ask his bestfriend if he really loves his boyfriend that much, why did he kiss him, that day, back in college, when they were still just a new couple?

And why did he keep him by his side all this time?

He needs an answer, and maybe he'll cry, like a hell lot, because he already knows the answer, but he needs it.
Because no matter how in love Jihoon is with Sunyeong, he is now tired.
And he doesn't want to try anymore.
