The clothes San had picked out were definitely reminiscent of the mediaeval times in Hongjoong's world. The material was soft and loose, but they weren't see through. The shirt was a pastel red colour, and the pants were a darker reddish brown. The only problem was the fact that Pixie's didn't wear shoes.

"Don't worry" San smiled, "the ground here isn't rough and rocky, so we don't wear shoes. When we travel, we usually fly so we have no need for them"

"I'll have to put mine back on when we leave here then" Hongjoong muttered.

"Mhm" San agreed as the two exited the room.

Yunho and Seonghwa glance at them, the dark haired elven Prince humming in approval.

"They look good on you" Seonghwa nods.

Hongjoong can feel his cheeks heat up as he stared at the ground, shuffling around a bit on his feet.

"You're way too nice Hwa" Yunho chuckles at the prince.

Seonghwa shrugs, "hes our guest, and I'm not one to be rude or make him feel uncomfortable unlike Felix and Jisung were earlier"

"Those two really need to be put in their place" San deadpans, "they're too flirtatious for their own good"

"Do they not have partners?" Hongjoong asks.

"Jisung does, but Felix doesn't" Mingi walks into the room, running a hand through his red hair, "blondie can't seem to settle down with anyone"

Hongjoong nods, turning to Seonghwa who was looking at him curiously.

"Why are you looking at me like I'm some sort of alien?" Hongjoong queries, his face blank of any expression.

San bursts into a fit of laughter, Mingi soon joining in. Yunho facepalms, shaking his head as a grinning Jongho peaks his head around from the kitchen.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you" Seonghwa throws his hands up in the air in a 'I surrender' motion.

"I wasn't offended, I was only wondering why you were looking at me like I was something to pick apart and investigate" Hongjoong chuckles.

"I'm just...curious about you, that's all" Seonghwa hums, "so, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable with my staring"

"I'm not uncomfortable, trust me. I've gotten a hell of a lot worse than just stares so it's fine" Hongjoong shrugs.

Seonghwa nods, humming in understanding. All of a sudden, they hear Yunho gasp in shock as if he's just remembered something.

"Damnit all, I completely forgot it was the Blue Moon Festival tonight!" Yunho exclaims, scrambling to his feet.

"Wait, that's tonight!?" San squeaks out, blinking rapidly.

"Oh sugarplum, Mingi and I have to go help set up!" Yunho grabbed Mingi's hand, the red headed pixie complaining a little but nevertheless allowed himself to be dragged off by an overly eager Yunho.

"Blue Moon Festival?" Hongjoong asks.

"It's a thing that happens once a year, and the entirety of Aurora celebrates it. For all of three days, the moon is full and a brilliant shade of sapphire blue light emits from it" Seonghwa explains, a soft smile on his face, "I used to celebrate it with my mother before she died, but I'm not quite into the celebrations anymore. I quite like just watching the moon as it rises"

Hongjoong wanted to ask about Seonghwa's mother, and how she died, but the look San gave him told him not to go there. Hongjoong was curious, but he wasn't that curious, so he left the subject alone.

"Tonight we'll go to the top of the tree and watch the moon rise" Jongho calls out, "I'm sure you'd like to see a real blue moon Hongjoong?"

"I mean, it seems pretty cool to me" Hongjoong grins.

"Then it's settled" San claps his hands, "we'll all watch the moon rise together"

:::

As it got closer to late evening, Yunho and Mingi has finally gotten back from helping some of the other pixies decorate the entirety of Pixie Place. There were bright yellow and bright green lights displayed across the houses and bordering what was a makeshift dancefloor, Hongjoong guessed.

"Are you any good at climbing Hongjoong?" Seonghwa suddenly asks.

"Uh yeah, a little" Hongjoong replies shyly.

"Good, because we're about to climb up to the top to watch the moon rise" San clapped his hand on Hongjoong's shoulder, "but don't worry; it's not that difficult of a climb" the red and black haired pixie grins.

Seonghwa is the first to walk out the door, San, Mingi, Yunho and Jongho following closely behind with Hongjoong being the last to leave. San suddenly grabbed Hongjoong's hand, the blue haired boy jolting in surprise.

"Sorry, it's just we have to fly up to the tree and climb from there" San smiles sheepishly as his other hand grabs onto Jongho's.

The second they reach the tree, Hongjoong looks up. Not difficult of a climb San had said, but it did in fact look a bit difficult. Hongjoong gulped, his heart jumping in his chest when he feels Seonghwa's hand squeeze his all of a sudden.

"If you're not confident about climbing up there, I'll give you a piggy back up there?" Seonghwa offers.

Hongjoong hesitates, but accepts Seonghwa's offer. Hongjoong jumps into the older's back, and within second Seonghwa starts to climb. It doesnt take very long to reach the top, maybe at least two to three minutes but when they reach the top, the moon is just beginning to rise.

The all sit down with Seonghwa on one side of Hongjoong and San in the other. Hongjoong's eyes widen as the blue moon slowly begins to rise, in awe of how beautiful it looks.

"I never thought that I'd ever actually get to see a real life blue moon, like ever" Hongjoong chuckles.

Seonghwa glances sideways at Hongjoong, smiling but not saying anything. He's still curious about the younger boy, but he doesn't want to bombard him with pointless questions.

He would save those pointless questions for another time...
