•EIGHT•
Hongjoong was in absolute awe of how large the moon was, because it was definitely larger than the moon in his world. He felt as if this was some kind of dream, but a voice in the back of his head said that this place was indeed very real. The moon had an almost unnatural blue glow to it, almost like a glowstick was circling around it but a thousand times brighter. It wasn't blinding, but you couldn't look at the light surrounding it for too long or you'd be seeing blue spots for hours.
"Ah, look, the party is in full swing down there" Jongho giggles, the Banshee wanting nothing more than to join in on the festivities.
"Go join them Jongho" Yunho smiles, nudging the younger.
"Nah, I'll feel so out of place" Jongho giggles.
Yunho frowns, turning to Mingi.
"Yunho and I will go with you then. Come on" Mingi stands up, grabbing Jongho and Yunho by their hands.
"H-hey, I wanna go down there too!" San exclaims, scrambling to get to his feet as he glanced back at Seonghwa and Hongjoong, "will you two join us? You don't have to dance; there's some tasty food down there as well"
Seonghwa looks at Hongjoong, the younger shrugging, "I wouldn't mind having a bite to eat. I'm kinda hungry" Hongjoong smiles softly.
"Alright then, we'll head down the tree with you San"
:::
The smell of the various different types of food invaded Hongjoong's nose, the younger's mouth watering. Seonghwa giggled at the expression Hongjoong had; widened eyes as the human stared hungrily at all the food they past by.
"So, what would you want to eat?" Seonghwa asks.
"At this point, I'd eat a whole horse" Hongjoong chuckled.
"Well, they do offer horse ribs somewhere here" Seonghwa hummed.
Hongjoong blinks in disbelief at the prince, "you're joking...right?"
"No, I'm not" Seonghwa frowns in confusion, "you do not eat horse in your world?"
"Uh, no, definitely not" Hongjoong squeaked.
"We, we ride them and eat them" Seonghwa nods.
"U-uh, I'd rather not uhm, eat horse, thank you very much" Hongjoong licked his lips, "but I do smell curry coming from that way"
"You like spice?" Seonghwa glances at Hongjoong.
"Sort of. I can do mild spice" Hongjoong shrugs.
"Well then, let's go" Seonghwa grabs Hongjoong by the arm and drags him over to where the smell of curry was coming from.
"This curry is imported from the Fairy Mountains. They do love their spices and herbs" Seonghwa grins, "this must be a...boar curry by the looks of it"
"Well, that's not that ba-" Hongjoong cuts himself off as he sees that the meat still has the skin and hair on it, "nevermind"
"Oh come on, you'll love it! It's a mild spice curry" Seonghwa turns to the seller, "two bowls of the boar curry please and thank you"
'Let's just hope I can keep this down' Hongjoong gulps.
"Just be sure not to eat the skin and fur" Seonghwa warns.
Hongjoong looks at him with wide eyes, and Seonghwa laughs at him, "you really thought that we ate the skin and fur too? Gods no"
'Oh thank-wait, Gods? There's more than one God here?' Hongjoong suddenly thought as he tasted the soup.
He hummed at the taste, nodding, "this is...unlike anything I've ever tasted. It tastes like something I've had before but at the same time it doesn't"
"I told you you'd like it" Seonghwa smiled as they both wander off with their two bowls of boar curry in hand.
"So...there's more than one God here?" Hongjoong asks.
"Yes. To be more specific there's four. There's the Pixie God Dawn, there's the Fairy Goddess Hyuna, there's the Elf Goddess Chungha and then there's Aurora's Creater, the God of the three other Gods, Taemin" Seonghwa explains before his expression turns dark, "and then there's the self proclaimed 'God' of the Outer Shade Forest who commands the forces of the dark, Mikaelis"
"I'm guessing he's not actually a God?" Hongjoong asks.
"Of course he's not; he just calls himself one. He's a powerful and dangerous Sorcerer, more powerful than even Jongdae. In fact...he's actually Yunho's older brother"
Now that made Hongjoong nearly drop his bowl, "wait, what!?"
"Yeah. Well, half brother. They had the same mother but different fathers and were born about 200 years apart. Sorcerer's can live for a very long time if they know the correct spells, but Mikaelis has only lived this long through the use of dark magic"
Hongjoong just nods, falling silent as the two wander around the festival. Soon enough, they bump into San who ends up pulling the two out on the dance floor. It took a little bit, but Hongjoong quickly got confident enough to dance around like an idiot.
He had no idea that he was being watched...
And after a billion years, I finally update this disaster of a fanfic XD
