I wish that I could see your face as you're watching me grow
I wish your eyes would shine again as I'm saying "hello"
I wish that you could see how warms she makes my heart when I'm cold
And that when I'm with her, I'm bold

'Cause yes, her smiles can light my days up when I need it the most
But lately, with "Her-addiction", I have been diagnosed
And I get way too frustrated when I can't be with her for so long
Sometimes I can't go along

If there would be something I could ask for I wouldn't even think
I'd want you to be here with me maybe just until I blink
So you could wipe my tears away and hug me close just once again
You'd try to reassure me, and then

You'd notice as my mind gets worried 'bout non-existent "nos"
So you'd look in my eyes and say "Dear, you gotta let it go
We all know that she loves you and she'd only try to make you feel
Like she's someone you can hold on to heal"
