"ओ बेखबर ओ बेकदर
बेताबियाँ बेचैनियाँ है जवाँ
मेरी नज़र ढूंढें तुझे तू कहाँ
आ तुझको मैं आँखों का काजल बना लूँ"
Myra woke up the next morning, her head resting on Abhishek's chest, his hand gently holding her waist. She smiled, remembering the previous night's proposal and the love that had filled the air. But she also remembered the ring she had bought for Abhishek, the one she had been planning to use for her own proposal.
Slipping out of bed quietly, she tiptoed around the room, gathering some candles and flowers she had bought earlier. She wanted to create a special moment before Abhishek woke up. She set everything up in the living room, making sure the atmosphere was perfect.
Just as she was finishing, she heard Abhishek stirring in the bedroom. He walked out, rubbing his eyes and looking around in confusion.
"What are you doing up so early?" he asked, his voice groggy.
Myra took a deep breath, her heart racing. "I have something to say," she began, trying to steady her nerves.
Abhishek looked at her, curious. "Uh huh? Kya?"
She led him to the living room, where the candles flickered softly, and the flowers added a sweet fragrance to the air. She took his hand and guided him to the couch, making him sit down.
"Myra, what the hell is going on?" Abhishek asked, a smile playing on his lips.
Myra knelt in front of him, pulling out the ring she had hidden behind her back. Abhishek's eyes widened in surprise as his hand make his way to his face hiding the slight red that fainted his cheeks.
"Abhay," she began, her voice trembling slightly. "Yesterday was perfect, but there's something I've been planning for a while now. You've always been there for me, through thick and thin. You've made me laugh when I wanted to cry, you've supported me when I doubted myself, and you've loved me unconditionally."
She took a deep breath, trying to keep her emotions in check. "From the moment we met, you turned my world upside. Literally. You've annoyed me the most honestly. Purposely as well.
I remember once, you spilled a drink on me at that party, and I thought you were the clumsiest person ever. But then you spent the whole night trying to make it up to me, and I saw the kind, caring person you are."
Abhishek chuckled, remembering that night. "I was nervous, alright!"
"You were adorable," Myra corrected with a smile. "Our first date, our spontaneous road trips, our late-night talks about our dreams and fears – you've been my best friend, my rock, and my greatest adventure."
Abhishek's eyes softened, filled with love and warmth. Myra continued, her voice becoming steadier. "You proposed to me last night, and it was the most beautiful moment of my life. But I've been planning to ask you something too."
She held up the ring, looking into his eyes. "Sharma, you are my everything. Will you please do me the honor of being my husband?"
For a moment, he was speechless."You beat me to it," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
Then, he broke into a wide grin. "What took you so long?" he teased, his voice thick with emotion.
Myra laughed, her own tears threatening to spill over. "You ruined my surprise!"
Abhishek reached out and pulled her into a tight embrace. "I love you," he whispered into her hair. "More than words can say."
"I love you more," Myra replied, her voice muffled against his chest.
He pulled back slightly, looking into her eyes. "Yes, I'll marry you. A thousand times yes."
Myra slipped the ring onto his finger, and they shared a tender kiss.
As they broke apart, Abhishek smirked. "You know, you didn't have to go through all this trouble. I already said yes."
Myra playfully smacked his arm. "Aye, moment kharab mat kar chal !"
Abhishek laughed and pulled her back into a hug.
They spent the rest of the morning basking in their love, enjoying the quiet moments together. It was the start of a new chapter in their lives, one filled with endless possibilities and unending love.
