LIAM'S POV

When I walked into the training room I knew something was up. The atmosphere was still and tensed  and the room was filled with various smell.

I could tell Aurora's friends and the Alphas are present. Focusing I calculated the number of hearts beating.

Ten, there are ten people in there, Aurora's friends included. Xavier growled.

Walking faster I entered the weapon room my jaw clenching at the scene.

I'm so gonna kill someone. Xavier growled.

Aurora's friends were in a face off with both alphas, enforcer Michael, maxwell and two other people who are assassins.

From their stance, I could tell that they were pissed and inpatient. Although it seems to be overlooked by the Alphas.

Making my presence known, all eyes turned to me. "What's going on?" I asked moving closer to the group.

"And why does it feel like they're being intimidated right now?" I asked walking closer to stand beside them facing the Alphas and their entourage.

Enforcer Michael forced out a smile, "its nothing, we are just checking on Aurora's friends".

"And I'm wondering why they're here and not in school" Alpha Miguel spoke.

"I needed to see them concerning Aurora and about them being absent, you should know that they are sick" I sneered

"So the four of you are sick?" Alpha Stevens questioned raising a brow.

"Just Kate and I" Dave shrugged. "Neil and I stayed behind to watch our mates" Mary mumbled.

"I'm glad you're not sick Neil, we really need you tomorrow" Alpha Stevens grinned.

"Thanks, I guess. Anyways, I'll take up your offer for drawing the tattoos" Neil added shrugging.

"I knew I could count on you. You're an awesome artist and I'm glad you agreed, no one would do this better than you"

Obvious much. Xavier grunted.

"So why are you guys meeting up with Liam?" Alpha Miguel asked.

"Because I asked them to. And why are do you want to know?"

Maxwell glared at me "not like its your business but we were concerned for her friends. I know it must be hard on them with Aurora still missing".

Dave snorted, "we really appreciate your concern but we're good. Besides Liam always checks in on us".

"Is that so, I wonder why he does that?" Enforcer Michael scoffed.

I glared at him, "because they're my mate's best friends. If that's all can you excuse us, I promised the guys we would scout around"

"I thought you were sick how can you go looking for Aurora?" Maxwell asked them.

"Because she's worth it" Mary answered.

No one said a word. After few moments of tense silence with the alphas looking around nervously, enforcer Michael cleared his throat "well, we'll take our leave now. Have a good day and good luck with your search".

The moment they walked out, Neil and the guys breathed out in relief.

"I wish I could strangle them with my bare hand and feel the life drain out of them" Kate growled in anger.

I chuckled "that makes the both of us. What exactly did they want?".

"Initially they asked me to be the tattoo artist for the ID ceremony but soon enough they began asking about Aurora and if she has a mate or a boyfriend and other private shit"

"Those bastards I'm sure they're behind the people who keep following us around" Dave snorted.

"They're actually the mastermind behind that and they want to have info on Aurora's mate or boyfriend so they can take him out and clear the way for Rex".

"But you just admitted that you're her mate. Won't they try to hurt you?" Dave asked worried.

I smriked "they certainly know it's me, they're just in denial. Besides I told them I would kill who ever tried to hurt me"

They all gaped at me. "Dude you're awesome" Dave chuckled.

"Why is her father hell bent on getting Rex and Aurora together anyways? Why don't he just fix him with Lisa?" Mary groaned

Kate cracked her knuckles "I want to punch the so called father"

I frowned slightly "hey, You'll have to get in line, I'm first".

"Well I wanna be the one to punch enforcer Maxwell. He's getting on my nerves real bad" Mary grumbled.

"What happened, did he threaten you?". I asked immediately,l knowing Mary wasn't a violent person.

She sighed, "he just keeps staring at me and making crude comments. And today he went ahead to wink at me".

"The only reason I didn't react is because the Alphas were present" Kate growled.

That man is in need of serious roughing up. I'm sure Aurora won't mind if we beat him up. Xavier grunted.

I grinned. She most certainly won't mind.

Dave ruffled Mary's hair, "don't worry, when Aurora gets back we'll tell her. I'm sure she'll come up with a good killing strategy".

It's concluded. I like them. Xavier chuckled.

Smiling I picked up my back pack, "let's get into today's meeting shall we?". They nodded eagerly.

"The thing is we won't be holding the meeting here, it will be at the creek".

"But why the creek?" Kate inquired.

"That way we can always be aware of our surroundings and also I have a feeling that the Alphas will be back here".

I grinned at Neil, "exactly, they're nosy people so we have to be as discreet as possible".

Nodding in unison, they picked up their backpacks and we headed out.

We sat in a circle with a map in the middle. I ensured we were out of view from the cameras and out of hearing range.

"These maps give an overview of the pack territory and the places marked with our initials are where we will be positioned when I give the signal but before then.".

"Neil you're gonna start the chaos by drawing the same tattoo on Lisa and Luke and ensure to make it a huge visible tattoo, one that will take time to get off".

"Mary your job will be to make Lisa and Luke know that they have matching tattoos. And when the argument starts, I'll need you to ruin Ophelia's dress but make it seem like an accident caused by one of her friends, this will prolong the initial chaos".

"Dave you're gonna distract the guards at the main entrance to the hall. It would be easy cause I ensured they're both gay. While they're distracted, Neil and Mary would sneak out and hang around till I give the signal"

"The moment they sneak out, I would hack the cameras and give a false alarm of an intruder by the Eastern border. The Alphas will be notified immediately and that is where you will come in Kate".

"You'll cause another chaos by claiming to be attacked at the training grounds and this will be done in the great Hall. This will make everyone restless and rowdy then you leave the room with Dave and you all will head to your stations".

"While at your stations you have ten minutes to change out of your clothes into the new ones stationed there and when its time up we'll meet somewhere for the last part"

"And what is the last part?" Dave asked. I grinned "Well that is a surprise".

We chuckled but I because serious immediately.

"Listen, I know what we're about to embark on is dangerous and something you're not used to or didn't ever think of doing. But I really need your help".

"This doesn't mean it's not your decision or choice. You're free to backdown now if you can't do this. I know I haven't told you the reason for all this but I need you guys to trust me".

They looked at each other, with matching grins on their faces, "when do we kick off?"

When the door opened I chuckled at the surprise on his face but nodded in greeting .

"Liam, I wasn't expecting you"

I shrugged "That's cause I needed it to be a last minute thing".

He rolled his eyes at me but opened his door wider motioning for me to come in, "why are you here?".

I glanced round his room, he was fidgety and something was off but I decided to act neutral.

"I'm gonna need your help tomorrow, it's going to be...". "I'm in" he interrupted.

I frowned, "you don't even know what I need your help with"

He shrugged "and I don't care, so long it's going to disrupt merging the packs, I'll help you with anything you need"

I couldn't help but ask "Mark, why exactly are you doing this?. The last time I asked you, all you said was that I owed you. I want to know what it is now".

He stared at me for a while before sighing. "Kassandra it's safe, you can come out".

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. Kassandra Stars, daughter of Alpha Miguel came out of the bathroom.

And she was just in his shirt. Looking back at Mark I noticed he was just in shorts.

Great we interrupted their session. I mumbled to Xavier.

That explains the nervousness and being half dressed. He snickered.

She waved at me nervously and I could tell something was wrong. And the moment she came close I knew what it was.

"She's your mate and she was forced wasn't she?". I asked clenching my fist.

They both nodded.

Kassandra hugged Mark "Father wanted me to join the assassins at all cost but I kept refusing. I guess he had enough of my No's, that he had me kidnapped and sent to the lab, I don't want to recall all that happened but I know someone helped me".

"Why do you mean?".

"Yeah. Someone gave them shots of neutralizers. They are given more dosage than usual and that shot saved their lives".

I nodded recalling how furious I was when I found out. "But how did you find out she's your mate?"

"The next morning, Damien and I were assigned to feed them and check on their progress"

"I had never felt the mate pull with her until after that night. I guess the drugs made her wolf more prominent and I was able to pick on the fact that she's my mate".

Kassandra blushed when Mark gave her a short kiss.

I'm so glad mate was able to break in and gave them the shots. Xavier mumbled

Well she's certainly gonna get a long ass kiss when I see her. I snickered.

Mark sighed heavily "The elders have gone too far with this project and she isn't the first person who was forced".

"I know it's gonna sound cruel but I want to hurt my father. I want to hurt him real bad". Kassandra growled.

I ran a hand through my hair, "have you been going through any training?".

She nodded smiling fondly at her mate "Mark teaches me and not to brag but I'm sure I can hold up on my own against two at a time"

"Good. But I don't know if you're gonna be okay with what I need you to do".

Mark kissed her hair "What do you need our help with. We are totally in".

"How about you two coming with me, I've got some people I need you to meet".

They all glared at Mark.

"Why exactly is he here, in my room?" Neil growled.

Mark cleared his throat "Listen I'm sorry for being a dick to you guys".

"Yeah right" Dave scoffed.

"I really I'm sorry, I know you don't believe it but I need to be in on this, my mate's sanity depends on it".

At the mention of mate Dave stepped closer, "you have a mate and what does it have to do with this?".

"The league of assassins I told you guys about, he's mate was forced in" I cleared up.

Mary gasped, "those bastards".

"Who's your mate?" Kate asked.

Kassandra walked into the room timidly moving to Mark's side.

It was quiet for a few seconds then Dave ruined it.

"You're hot but what is a hot girl like you doing with ugly duck of a Mark"

We all laughed and I was grateful Dave eased the tension a bit

Mary and Dave hugged Kassandra "welcome to the club" they shouted in unison.

When they all sat down on Neil's bed, I took out my tablet.

"Let's go over the plans one more time"
