Bidding my friends goodbye I walked down the hallways to my class. A girl by a locker waved while the guy beside her winked at me.

And they were not the first ones to do that. It seemed like everyone in the pack suddenly knows about my existence.

What's with all the sudden popularity? Cora asked confused.

Almost like the girl heard her question she stepped towards me, "Hy am Lillian"

I raised my brows "well hello am Aur..." "Yeah I know who you are".

I nodded unsurely "okay how can I help you"

She shook her head with a smile "it's actually how I can help you and I want you to know that I fully support you whooping Rex and Theo's ass"

I tilted my head "weren't you one of my bullies?". She gulped nervously "yeah about that, am really sorry for not doing anything then. I was really scared of Rex, Mark and Theo".

Cora rolled her eyes. Yeah right.

"It's okay. Anyways I won't say it was nice talking to you but have a good day". I walked past her and got to class.

The moment I entered it was suddenly quiet. Everyone was staring and smiling at me, some guys even winked.

Ignoring it all I walked to my seat passing by Rex and Theo's seat that was still empty. None of the populars were even in school.

I think we should go pay them a visit today after school. Cora suggested.

Yeah, let's see how they're doing and rub our victory in their faces.

Flopping down on my seat I got my books out looking up when Cora perked up.

Oh shit what the hell is he doing here.

Maxwell walked into the classroom room with mother in tow. I stared in shock. Now this is weird.

We all stood up and bowed. Well they bowed while I stared out the window.

Mother stood at the middle of the class, "Good morning all. This is enforcer Maxwell and he'll be your new teacher for calculus. Do well to make him feel welcome"

The class answered a yes while Maxwell smiled. Turning to me mother tried catching my gaze but I looked away.

Giving up after few tries she called out "Aurora can I speak to you for a moment. Maxwell you can  continue with the class"

I huffed but followed her outside "yes ma'am". She smiled "please we're out of class, you can call me mum"

I raised my brows at her "I don't see why I should since you're not my mother. Do you have any particular reason for calling me outside".

She nodded "I wanted to know how you're doing today and if you were affected on Friday night".

"You should get it straight that am not your daughter and asking after me ain't gonna change that. I suggest you give the concern to the birds", walking away I headed to class.

And classes went by without problem.

Okay scratch that, classes went by with everyone staring at me, or trying to talk to me or asking me out on dates. Cora almost chopped a boy's head for indirectly saying he would make a better mate than anyone else.

Can't blame her though, I doubt anyone is better than Liam.

Back to the staring and whispering, it got worse when I entered tbe cafeteria. Walking to my table I sat down to complain but Mary beat me to it.

"I don't know what happened but we're suddenly popular because of you". "What wait do you mean".

Neil shrugged "people have been walking up to us asking to be friends and all. Someone even had the guts to ask Dave out".

I chuckled a bit "sorry about that. But I've been having the same problem too. Everyone's been staring and talking, what do you think is the reason for that?".

Kate frowned a bit before gasping "the spar between you and Theo".

Dave snapped his fingers "exactly, you're popular because you dealt with them. Stupid people, now they want to be friends".

Glancing round I noticed they were still staring and some tables close to us were very crowded. Turning to my friends I smiled "I know just what to do".

Walking to the center of the cafeteria I coughed loudly and it was quiet.

"Hello people I wanna ask something. Do I look like the Moon goddess?".

They looked confused but answered no. Allowing Cora to speak with a little hint of dominance I growled,

"Good, now let's get something straight, am not friends with you guys and neither are my friends, so back the hell away from us. Just cause I won a spar doesn't make me your role model and don't think I've forgotten what you guys did to me. So now instead of suffocating me with your fake attitudes I suggest you move on with your lives. Am I clear?".

It was quiet for a while but I growled out again "I asked, am I clear?". They all chorused a Yes.

Heading back to my seat smiling I sat down munching on an apple "well that should do it". My friends laughed and lunch continued.

I took my time walking back to the pack house having declined a ride with my friends. I rode with them to school today opting to leave my car behind for the surveillance I needed to do before heading for training.

Whistling softly, I glanced round the territory taking note of the guards and their positions. It's was obvious they added more guards mixing them with assassins.

Sneaking out is gonna be tricky these days. I mumbled.

Cora chuckled. And that's where the fun is, sneaking in and out without them knowing. Or maybe with them knowing and not being able to do anything about it.

I rolled my eyes at her. You seem way too excited about sneaking out.

She stretched. Considering the fact that they claim to be strong and vigilant, we being able to sneak around is one assurance that no matter what they do. We'll always find loop holes to destroy their plans.

I laughed out loudly gaining the attention of some people walking behind me.

Damn Cora, you're good. And that's why I love you.

When I finally got to the pack house I headed to my room to prepare for training.

Liam was already at our spot but I groaned when I smelt someone else.

I wonder what he wants now. Cora muttered sensing father's presence.

"Good evening enforcer Micheal, Liam" I greeted grumpily, the conner of Liam's lips lifting slightly.

"Aurora dear, we were just talking about you" father replied all smiles.

Do I wanna know what this is about?. I linked Liam.

I'll let him tell you. He replied obviously annoyed by something.

Rolling my eyes I nodded "why were you talking about me".

"As you know the full moon is close by and well you rejected Rex. The Alphas and I were talking and as your father I think you should accept Rex, he's an Alpha and you're pretty strong yourself. You'll make a good Luna plus if..."

"And where are you heading to with all this?" I interrupted agitated.

Father glanced at Rex nervously before turning to me "well you and Rex can mate by the next full moon. He woke up this morning although his injuries are yet to heal fully but am sure he'll be fit before the full moon".

"So you want me to mate with a scumbag of a bully and weakling of an Alpha" I asked masking my anger.

He gulped "Aurora, as your father I have your interest at heart okay"

I laughed shaking my head "that would be if your are my father. But am gonna act like you didn't just butt into my life and make stupid decisions also we're gonna forget this conversation took place. If you guys are so desperate go find another girl for your young Alpha, okay"

He nodded excused himself and walked off briskly.

Liam walked to me, pulling me in his embrace "I planned on skipping training today and had lunch prepared for us. But we can still train if you wanna blow off some steam"

Nuzzling my face in his chest "lunch please" I mumbled.

Liam smiled giving me a quick kiss before pulling me towards the creek, where a blanket and basket of food were waiting.

Rushing to the basket I opened it and brought a burger out, taking a huge bite "you're the best mate ever. I was starving". Chuckling he sat beside me on the blanket.

We ate making slight talks but to Cora's disappointment and maybe mine also we didn't make out.

Curse you guards that stand and stroll around. Cora grumbled.

Stuffing my hands in my coat pocket I strolled into the hospital. It still looked same as it did the last time I was here.

Walking to the receptionist I smiled at her "excuse me ma'am, can you please tell me what room the young alpha and Theo McWells are?".

"Sure thing dear". She pressed a few buttons before smiling back at me "both are in room 105. Take the hallway by your left and use the elevator to the second floor"

Smiling in return I waved "thanks ma'am".

Taking her direction I found myself before the room. Listening close I could dictate just four heartbeats. Knocking lightly I entered inside.

The first person I saw was Rex's Mom, Luna Stevens but walking further I saw Ophelia.

Guess the ladies are keeping watch. Cora snickered.

Luna Stevens noticed me first, she glared at me standing up "you, what are you doing here, you came to finish up my son right?". Ophelia hearing this stood and came towards "Why are still here? Leave this instant"

Rolling my eyes I walked further into the room casually searching for cameras.

Who knows we might need to pay them a late night visit. Cora smirked.

Taking note of one in front of the door and two in the corners of the room, at the left and the other at the right.

I shrugged "I actually came to check on them, enforcer Michael told me they're awake so I decided to see how they're doing".

Ophelia scoffed "yeah right like you care"

I nodded with a smirk "of course I do care. I mean, am the reason they are here, so I might as well pay them a visit to check on their not so quick recovery".

Luna Stevens growled "you bitch get out of my sight I don't even know why you came back, you are an embodiment of bad luck, you have ...." "Mom".

We all turned to Rex who laid on his stomach he grunted calling out again "mom"

Luna Stevens yelled for the doctor then ran to his side with a cup of water. A doctor came in and helped hold him up so he could drink the water.

I stood by the side sending a wink to Ophelia who scoffed not noticing her stirring mate but I called out "your mate is up also". She turned so fast am surprised her neck is still intact, with a strangled gasp she ran to Theo smothering his face with kisses.

I stood by the door watching the scene with a smile, wondering how long it will take before I hurt them again and kill Theo.

My phone tinged and I saw a message from Mary asking if I was still on for the movie night. Texting a quick reply that I was on my way, I left the room

You know we can still kill Theo tonight. Cora suggested.

I laughed at her thoughts, we could but there are lots of guards around. We've got to lay low.

How about Luke?

Now that's is possible. We need him so we can exercise our fists.

Smirking I left the hospital to meet up with my friends.

I watched Aurora as she left the hospital a smile on her face, she placed her phone in her pocket and walked gracefully to the pack house.

Yeah. She was at the hospital but is heading back to the pack house.

Okay then, keep close eyes on her.

Sure thing sir but I need to know why you have me watching her and what I should look out for.

I think there's someone in her life. I need to know if she's found another mate.

And if she has.

We take him out. Boss was clear on one thing, no one gets her except him.

I looked back at Aurora as she got to the pack house. I wonder what the girl has to offer that makes whoever is after her so desperate.

Someone's got eyes on your girlfriend, I suggest you mate with her before the next full moon. And remember to be discreet with your dates and all. The boss who I still don't know yet has eyes on her and it might not just be me.

Looking at my watch I walked towards the hospital. Time to visit Rex and Theo.
