The hall was silent, waiting for either one of the Alphas to speak. After a while Alpha Miguel stood and cleared his throat "Good evening everyone, am sure we all have questions about last night's incident".

Immediately murmurs arouse from the crowd. Raising his hand, silence ensued again, "your questions will be answered after a run down of our findings is given".

He sat down while Maxwell stood, clearing his throat "the wolf that attack our pack last night is obviously a dangerous wolf, one that is strong and deadly. We believe it's from a rival pack and this same wolf is probably responsible for the disappearance of our own pack member Luke".

He looked round the crowd before speaking again "from now henceforth we will be more cautious, don't go out alone, avoid lonely and secluded places and try to link with your friends constantly when you're alone. Like I said earlier, this person or wolf is deadly so if you find anything suspicious or feel threatened don't hesitate to notify someone from the mind link"

My father stood "there will be a mandatory training on Saturdays. No one should be found absent except children, pregnant women and other excused people."

"Now you can ask your questions?" Alpha Stevens asked.

A hand went up immediately, giving her the go ahead she stood "does this mean that a war is coming?"

Alpha Stevens shook his head "no, its obvious that whatever rival pack against us doesn't want us merging. There were quite some packs that I rejected their merging offers, I guess some weren't too happy about it".

She nodded and sat down. Another hand went up "how many casualties from last night's incident?"

"Unfortunately we lost seven people. Six men and a woman, their families with be greatly compensated" Father answered.

Another hand went up "so what's the next step?"

Alpha Miguel sighed "we should be on alert, from last night's incident you can tell that the wolf is able to mask it's scent, so you need to be report any suspicious person, friend or not"

A guy stood up Immediately "are you saying that we have a mole in our midst?"

"No,am saying we should be careful and vigilant" Alpha Miguel answered. "Any more questions?"

A man stood up to ask and I smirked.

Let's get this party started, let's feed them their worse fears. Cora snickered.

Concentrating deeply I ventured into the head of the man standing, filling his head with screams and gory images. He stopped talking and held his head, letting out a loud scream.

Maxwell who was already standing, hastily walked down the podium towards him, halfway to meeting him I stopped and ventured to a woman who was at the front row.

Since she was mated I filled her head with images of her mate, dead and his body covered in blood.

She screamed and held her head, standing she looked around frantically probably searching for her mate.

"My mate, someone please help my mate"

The next was a man who was worried about his pregnant mate, smirking I began filling his head with images of his mate dying at childbirth.

He held his head and began growling.

Looking straight at the podium, I saw Alpha Stevens frantically trying to calm some people.

Wanna play with him a little? I asked.

Hell yeah. Cora howled.

Giggling a bit I filled his head with images of Rex dead. He growled loudly and gripped his head.

"Head to the hospital and check on my son now" he ordered Mark

Chuckling I ventured to my last target Maxwell.

Let's give him something sweet, Cora chuckled.

Getting into his head was a bit difficult but the moment I did, I gave him images of being powerless and unable to shift, making him watch himself being killed by the one person he hates and fears the most.

He growled and held himself from shifting, I could tell that his shifting was a form of confirming that he's wolf was intact.

I felt a twinge of pain shoot through my body.

Mate....Mate is hurt. Cora growled.

Looking through the crowd I couldn't find Liam and I saw my father trying to control the crowd but they were all screaming and calling to various people.

Almost like he knew I was searching for him, Liam stood from the ground holding a crying baby and a lady.

Guess someone bumped into Liam and they fell.

It's okay Cora, it's just a fall.

You're right. Sorry I startled you, it's just that it felt intense.

Guess he hit his head hard.

Yeah. But damn girl, can you sense their fear. It's euphoric.

Smiling I looked round, the hall was in chaos, just the way I wanted. Going straight into the pack link, I released images of their worse fear and terrors to random minds, not caring who it was.

While sending those images I ensured to make it painful, the more realistic it felt, the better.

Now this is perfect chaos. Cora chuckled.

I know girl. I know.

Deciding to add more thrill I turned to my friends with a frown on my face, "what do you think is going on?".

Mary held on to Kate, Neil stood scanning the crowd. Turning to me, "let's help stabilizing the crowd".

I nodded and we headed to the middle of the hall avoiding broken chairs and swinging arms. Moving in the crowd I let go of Neil's hand and slipped through the door at the side.

Going outside carefully to avoid the cameras, I slipped to the side of the building. Moving on the wall I climbed to my room window.

On entering my room I changed into my spy clothes that consisted of black leggings, black tank top, black gloves and socks, black wig and blue contacts and finally three black bulky jackets.

The jackets made me look big and coupled with the short and guy like wig, I looked like a guy.

A short muscled guy. Cora snickered.

Putting my previous clothes in a small bag I climbed out through the window and went down stealthily avoiding cameras and guards.

Edging towards the training ground, I rolled on the floor so the clothes would smell of Earth and dust.

Masking my scent, I ran out purposely catching the eyes of the guards around.

And they gave a chase.

Running through the forest I opened the pack mind link partially.

The guards had informed the Alphas and Maxwell of a male intruder with a bag and more guards were told to join the chase.

Zipping my way through the forest I quickly climbed a tree and sat on it's branches, holding my breath.

The guards ran past and I counted at least thirty of them, some in human forms others in wolf. I could also smell the assassins among them.

When they were out of range, I jumped from tree to tree till I got to my treehouse.

Going in, I saw a sleeping Luke.

Kicking him, he woke with a scream.

"You scream like a girl" I scolded covering my ears.

He moved forward "you bitch you left me here for days without sustainance, do you want me dead"

"Yes I want you dead but not today and certainly not by starving" I deadpanned while unchaining him.

Dropping the food on the floor I went towards the door "help yourself and damn you stink".

He only ignored me concentrating on the food before him.

Taking advantage of it, I changed back to my clothes and placed the other clothes in the bag, zipping it lock and dropping it by the conner.

Turning on my phone I decided to check the cameras, the previous feeds showed me running past but my attire and shirt curly hair gave the appearance of a guy. I went to the system and created a glitch, that way they would think it was the outsider trying to cover his tracks.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow"

Locking the door with a spell I jumped on the trees and headed to the pack house.

Going back to the mind link, the hall was in chaos from the mind terrors and the fact that an intruder is in the pack.

The Alpha Miguel and my father were trying to check out if anyone was missing. No one was allowed to leave nor go in. The entrance to the pack house was guarded by assassins and I knew they were on high alert.

Guess I'll have to sneak in again. I mumbled.

And be quick about it. Cora muttered.

Realising a deep breath, I summoned my power, the red mist surrounding my glowing slightly.

The assassins sensed the power and began searching round. Using their distraction as an open way, I sped to the side of the building.

With a bobby pin, I picked the window lock, opened it slightly, but a lady was holding her baby by the window and she was blocking my entrance.

Sorry lady but we have to do this. Cora winced.

I entered my mind and filled it with images of her child gasping for air and choking.

She growled as she shook her baby, using the moment I swiftly entered inside and closed the window, at the same time she screamed and held her baby tighter.

Placing a hand on her and stopping the image I took the baby from her and began rocking the crying child.

Am sorry baby. Cora cooed.

After a while the baby was calm so I handed her child back. Scanning I noticed it was still in chaos.

Let's give them some rest. Cora chuckled.

Nodding I linked back to the minds and stopped the images, using my alpha command on their wolves I settled them.

At once the screams stopped and everyone was calm.

I could feel the relief and confusion of the pack but more enjoyable was the fear still emitting off them. Even Maxwell was shaken up.

Tables were turned over,chairs broken, some had shifted, some were fighting.

The scene was beautiful.

Taking a deep breath I tried to calm myself, breaking into people's mind wasn't easy. Plus I had used my powers.

Scanning the crowd, I headed to Dave "have you seen Neil, I lost him in the crowd".

He shook his head, his eyes glazed over and I knew he was contacting him. "He's heading this way".

Mary and Kate came to us "where were you guys, I couldn't find you" I asked hugging Mary.

"It's s huge hall that contains hundreds of people, it was easy to get lost and stomped on" Kate grumbled wiping the blood of her arm

"What happened to you?" Dave asked gripping her arm and applying pressure on the wound.

"A shewolf who thought Kate was her dead stepmom who came back to kill her" Mary explained.

"Sorry about that" I rubbed her back soothingly.

We picked some chairs and sat down waiting for Neil while the Alphas and Maxwell were trying to calm the shocked crowd.

"Are you okay, I got worried back there?" I asked Neil the moment he got to the table.

"Sorry a lady held on to me thinking I was her brother. What the hell was that anyways?".

"I don't know but whatever it is, it's really strange. Am quite scared" I mumbled.

Scared my ass, Cora snickered.

After a while, the hall was finally silent. I looked up at the podium but couldn't find Liam.

Liam, where are you?

At the security room. Someone messed with the footage.

He's voice sounded off and his wolf was pissed.

Liam what's wrong, are you okay?.

Yeah, I'll talk to you later I need to go.

Okay please be careful.

You too baby girl, I'll see you after the meeting.

"Is anyone hurt?" Alpha Miguel asked the moment there was silence.

Murmurs and chorus of No's and Yes's rang out.

"Please I need someone to tell me what happened to you. Individually".

A man stood up "Alpha, I felt immense pain and I had images of my mate dying during child birth. And she's pregnant ready to pop at anytime"

A lady stood up "mine was my mate dead and covered in blood. He's a guard at the border"

"Mine was my sister being killed my rouges and she's one of the trackers you sent out"

All around, tales of their worse fears were told.

Alpha Stevens stood up commanding silence, "I think we were given images of our worse fears. Mine was my son dead".

At the statement I looked at Maxwell, he seemed composed but I could tell he was worried. He cleared his throat "the intruder made it to the pack border, so he's out. For now"

"But know that all activities are put on hold for now and we'll be on lockdown. No one goes in and no one goes out. Movement in some areas would be banned" Alpha Stevens continued.

"Please bear with us, it's for your safety" Alpha Miguel implored.

A speedy chorus of 'Yes Alphas' rang out.

"We should all head home, you can visit the hospital tomorrow, for now we have guards checking the perimeter. Well that's all goodnight and remember to be vigilant" Alpha Miguel finalized tiredly

The moment the elders left the Hall, everyone fled out in a rush to get to their loved ones at home.

My friends and I waited behind for the doorways to clear out before leaving.

Taking the elevator to our various floors we bid each other goodnight.

Stepping on to the hallway I saw Liam leaning on my door.

"Hey you" I greeted, smiling he spread out his arms for a hug. Walking into them I leaned totally into him, his head tucked in my neck and his arms tight around me.

He was tensed and restless so I held him tighter.

After a while he pulled back "thanks, I needed that".

"You're very welcome". Opening the door I gestured for him to come in.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked when he sat down.

He shook his head, took off his shoes and moved to the middle of the bed. Patting the side he motioned and for me to get closer.

"Give me a moment to change", taking my PJs I headed to the bathroom.

Yes, we're gonna cuddle tonight. Cora cheered.

Shut it Cora. I mumbled trying to fight my blush.

Don't deny it, you wanna cuddle. She sang.

CORA.

I splashed some water on my face to cool it before heading out.

Liam had taken his shirt off and was down to his briefs.

"It's a sin to look this hot" I mumbled out.

The moment the words left, I covered my mouth. Liam chuckled "it's okay baby, I think you are the sinner since you're way hotter".

Blushing I moved towards the bed, his imposing size making my bed look smaller. My head went on a rampage with the thoughts my horny wolf were giving me.

"You do know we're not having sex right, I just want to hold you" Liam asked.

I nodded "sorry it's just that I haven't cuddle with anyone before". "Am glad, come on" he waved.

Climbing on, I moved to his side but he pulled me so I was laying on him, "is this okay?" I asked nervously.

"This is perfect". Snuggling closer, I kissed his chest "goodnight Liam".

"Goodnight baby".

I was almost asleep when I felt him kiss my hair and whisper "I won't let him hurt you, I promise".

I didn't know why he said that but I have a feeling it had to do with the mind terrors we caused today. Cora said worriedly.
