It was barely morning and the sun wasn't out yet. I stood at the conner of the tree house observing Luke.

He looked tired, miserable and weak.

How I love his look. Cora cooed.

I chuckled softly. I can't wait to start torturing him.

Yeah, especially now he has no wolf. Cora snickered. But when do we start?.

Soon Cora. Soon. I promise.

I can imagine her rubbing her paws and licking her snot. Giggling at the image I decided to alert him of my presence

"Do you know that you stink?"

Luke screeched like a girl when he heard my voice, he began looking round before he saw me "And I wonder why?" He scoffed.

"Took you long enough to notice me, I wonder why?"

"Because I turned off my bitch radar"

I laughed loudly and released his cuffs and chains. Setting the food I brought on the table I sat opposite him.

"Eat you're gonna need your strength".

"How can I be sure you didn't poison it?" He asked sniffing the food.

"Luke if I wanted you poisoned I have my claws for that" I deadpanned.

He stopped and stood up harshly only to fall down, "my wolf, what have you done to my wolf. What happened to Dex?".

I shrugged "he was gonna be a nuisance and I hate burdens. Am surprised you didn't notice sooner"

Luke growled at me. Well a human version of growling.

"Did you kill him. I swear Aurora am going..."

"Do what Luke. There's nothing you can do. You don't have a wolf again remember" smiling lightly I picked an apple and took a huge bite. "You should check within" I said chewing slowly.

After a moment he breathed heavily, sat down and began eating.

"Am surprised you haven't asked how your mate is faring" I said causally.

Luke choked on his food and began coughing loudly, I just sat there eating my apple and watching him.

When he managed to calm himself I frowned "why didn't you take long. I was enjoying your suffering".

He glared at me "well you're going to wait for long because a simple choking won't kill me".

I smiled "of course you won't die by choking on your food. Am gonna kill you myself"

He gulped and continued his eating. After a while he raised his head "am sure Rex is doing fine. Unless you're making him miserable".

I raised my brows at him "I meant your mate Luke, not your crush".

"Rex is more than a crush" he growled out.

"Yeah sure whatever floats your boat" I snickered.

He slumped on his seat "how did you know Lisa is my mate?".

"She told me" I stated simply. Luke gaped at me "that's not true, she would never do that".

I cocked my head "and why's that?"

"Because we haven't even spoken about it or even considered being  mates".

I stared at him in disbelief "you don't consider being mates Luke. The moon goddess paired you two, so what the hell are you two considering?".

He shrugged "I want Rex, she wants Mark no I think it's Nathan now".

I shook my head "you guys are stupid you know. Well that's your problem but my joy".

"And why's that?" He asked suspiciously.

I shrugged "well you guys are mates, tell me Luke, what happens when a wolf can't feel her mate's wolf?".

He was confused at first before he understood my point.

"You fucking bitch"

I laughed "too bad you guys are not mated. She would have felt all you've been going through, but then again, it will be fun seeing her suffer since your wolf is comatose".

Luke stood up to hit me but I pushed the table at him knocking him off his feet. Squatting at his side I gripped his neck and began squeezing gently at first before adding more pressure.

"You see Luke, you're forgetting something. Am just getting started and there's nothing stopping me until I wipe every one of my targets. You should get used to that idea now".

When he started turning red I released his neck. He fell back gasping for air. Dragging him up I chained and cuffed him again.

"You're so cruel you know" he sneered at me still huffing but I smirked

"Am more than cruel Luke. Am a nightmare dressed like a day dream"

Chuckling I left him.

Liam's POV

"So you think someone broke into the Alphas office?" I asked with my brows raised

Maxwell rubbed a hand through his hair "yes the office was broken into. When Rex and I ventured through the windows we saw lots of people at the training ground.".

Currently Maxwell and I are at the security room waiting for the tech guy to bring up last night's footage.

According to him, he followed the Alphas to their office, while inside the office they heard a snap followed by a heartbeat. That was when they noticed that both windows were open.

"So you heard a heartbeat but no scent. How is that possible and what if one of the Alphas forgot to close the windows?"

Maxwell glared at me "I was the one who locked those windows myself before we left for the meeting. And everyone in the room heard the heartbeat okay".

I shook my head a little. This morning is not going well for me.

Finally the tech guy brought the footage but we decided to wait for the Alphas to get here before watching it.

When the Alphas and enforcer got here we sat and watched the footage.

And we knew someone was actually in the office. Too bad the person left a trace we couldn't follow.

But the problem was who broke into the office and why.

I stared at Aurora while she went at the punching bag.

Damn she looks hot. Xavier growled.

I nodded in approval.

Looking at my watch I called out "time out".

She stopped, panting for breath "how did I do?".

I smiled "pretty good" and she punched the air.

Chuckling I strode to her careful to keep some distance but close enough to see her bright green eyes "you were awesome mate".

She blushed before stepping forward "well I have a pretty awesome trainer".

I smiled "yeah you do" she leaned closer to me with a smile "good thing that..."

"I didn't know you need to be that close to teach" a voice interrupted.

This young Alpha is getting on my nerves. Xavier grumbled.

You and me both buddy.

Aurora cursed and turned to face Rex he was with a friend of his that wasn't the Beta.

"Rex, Theo, to what do we owe this visit" Aurora asked folding her hands.

The Theo guy snorted "pissed we interrupted your intense training?"

"Yeah I am" Aurora answered back.

"Am disappointed in you Aurora" Rex grumbled.

Aurora gasped "really, this is awesome and relieving. What took you so long?".

I snickered and some laughters could be heard. That was when I remembered that there were other trainees present.

Rex wasn't pleased with his mockery stepping forward he growled "watch it Aurora, I won't hesitate to have you beaten up by Theo".

She chuckled "have you forgotten Rex, I had your Beta beaten up without undergoing training. Now imagine being trained, Theo is gonna be a child's play"

Rex glared at her "then I'll handle you myself"

I growled and stepped before her facing him "I would advice you to watch it, you're crossing the line here". Getting closer I whispered "threatening my girl could get your ass beaten Rex, not like it's a first"

I smirked when I saw the flicker of fear and apprehension in his eyes.

He cleared his throat and stepped back glaring at us he left the room his minion in tow.

"What did you say to him?" Aurora asked with a smile, I shrugged then smirked at her "wanna go for a run?".

Giggling she nodded excitedly.

Rex's POV

I stood outside the Alphas office tapping my feet impatiently. Why the hell are they taking long.

I had a plan and I couldn't wait to put it in place.

"That bitch better watch it or I'll show her" Theo growled.

I rolled my eyes at him but grunted in consent. Aurora was getting on my nerves but I'll admit it was a turn in to see her stand for herself and oppose me, especially the way she dissed Theo like a kid.

"You want revenge right?" I asked Theo. He nodded although he looked confused.

"Then play along and you'll get a chance at that".

When the couple in the office stepped out I walked in with Theo.

"Good evening Alphas" we greeted in unison.

My dad waved at us motioning us to sit "why are you here?".

"I want to take up training Aurora" I stated.

Alpha Miguel looked up "and why's that. Last I checked Liam was handpicked by her father".

Dad nodded "yes and he's also the best. So why do you want to train her?"

I shrugged "I don't think Liam has good and pure intentions towards her. Earlier today he was too close to her and when Theo and I intervened he didn't even let her speak. And also I've seen them training, he actually pets her and goes too soft on her".

Dad turned to Theo "is this true?" And Theo nodded.

Alpha Miguel seem to think for a while before speaking "fine I want a spar between Theo and Aurora. If Aurora should lose then you get to train her but if she wins then Liam continues her training"

I acted like I was pondering on it "fine then".

"Is this okay with you Theo?" Alpha Miguel asked.

Their nodded with a tiny smile.

"Give me a moment to link Liam and Aurora". Dad stated

Few minutes later they walked into the office sweaty and out of breath.

My wolf Zack growled at the sight.

I wonder what they were doing. He growled.

Patience Zack, we'll have her soon.

Greeting the Alphas they sat beside Theo and I.

Liam spoke first "you wanted to see us Alphas"

Dad nodded "I would like to know how your training with Aurora has been going".

They looked at each other before Liam spoke "it's been good, I upped her training as requested".

"Liam is actually a good trainer, although he might be training me like am going for war" Aurora spoke softly with a laugh.

The Alphas smiled at that before dad spoke again "Rex thinks Liam is not doing a good job at training you".

She glared at me then turned to them "Liam has been patient but tough in his training. I assure you he's doing a very good job".

Alpha Miguel nodded "that is why we have come to a conclusion "you're to spar with Theo who has also been training, if Theo should defeat you, Rex will take up training you but if you should win Liam continues".

It was quiet for a while before she nodded "I agree Alpha".

"Well it's settled, tomorrow by 5pm you two will be sparring. You're dismissed".

We all trooped outside the office.

Theo turned to them with a smirk "get ready to lose bitch".

Aurora only smiled and pulled Liam with her. The action making Zack growl lowly.

The moment they were out of hearing range Theo faced me "what the hell dude?".

I shrugged "it's a win win for us man".

"And how's that?"

Smiling I placed my hand on his shoulder "you get to defeat Aurora and I get to spend time with my mate after that" I looked him dead in the eyes "unless you can't defeat her".

Theo glared at me then shrugged my hands off "I can and I will. Thanks for the opportunity, but don't hate me when you see her injuries" with that he walked away.

Strolling to my room I smiled to myself.

Tomorrow Aurora you'll be mine.  Do enjoy your last moment with that bastard cause he's going to be out of the picture soon.
