I stood back and studied my building with pride. The treehouse was coming along just good. I was more than halfway done and so far no one has suspected anything. Not like anyone came to this part of the forest.

Thanks to being super strong and fast lifting, hammering and sawing was definitely easy, which made the work faster.

It's been a week since I casted the spells, started my training and began my treehouse.

And it's been a week since Luke left, am nervous, anxious, and worried. And the fact that Maxwell and two other assassins were called away as well didn't help matters.

My birthday is this weekend and am anxious to finish this treehouse before then. The reason being that on my birthday my power always increases thereby sending a huge wave of power.

It first happened on my 17th birthday and I was shocked when Dad Vito bowed in acknowledgement to my power. According to Mum Celine any werewolf within hearing or sniffing range could feel my dominance and they would be forced to bow or submit.

While I thought it was cool I knew it was dangerous because it could lead the assassins to me, so I needed to avoid them hence my need to finish the treehouse by Friday since my birth was on a Sunday.

Well technically the twins birthday was on Saturday but since I am as born at exactly 12am, mine was on Sunday.

My watch beeped letting my know it's time for me to head for training, I could feel Cora's excitement and I chuckled at her enthusiasm.

Training with Liam has been going well so far. I still maintained my ignorance about fighting and he's a real good teacher. After the night of our first training he made it a habit of walking me to the pack house, bidding me goodnight and heading off.

Getting to our training spot am surprised Liam isn't here yet, he's usually here before me.

After about 35 minutes I saw him walking towards me but he looked stressed out.

As he came closer Cora whined and howled, it was obvious he was in pain or hurt. I didn't know how I knew but I felt it.

"Liam are you ok, what's wrong?" I asked the moment he got close.

He just shrugged and rubbed a hand down his face. He looked sad. Cora whined again urging me to hug him and without second thoughts I did.

He was stiff for a few seconds but he relaxed, placing his face in the crook of my neck he inhaled deeply then exhaled slowly. We stayed in this position for a while before I broke it.

"Thanks, let's begin".

All through the training he was off and distracted so I stopped.

"Why don't we skip it for today, you look tired maybe you should rest".

He shook his head "no, we have to finish up, you still have a lot to learn"

I folded my arms and glared at him "well am not doing anything".

He looked at me then sat on the grass "fine then".

I sat beside him not sure how to ask him on what was bothering him.

Maybe he needs to relieve some stress, Cora suggested

Cora am not having sex with him,

She rolled her eyes, I wasn't talking about sex, I was referring to a run in his wolf form. But it seems you think otherwise

I blushed Cora was definitely an abnormal wolf.

"Wanna share why you're blushing?" Liam asked

Shaking my head I stood and stretched my hand to his. He stared from my hand to my face then back to my hand before taking it and standing.

"Follow me" I ordered and surprisingly he did.

We walked for a while before I stopped dropped my bag and took off my jacket and shoes.

"Wait, are you stripping?" I nodded, but he took some steps back and shook his head, "Am not sure I wanna have sex with you Aurora" he commented and I cursed my cheeks for blushing again.

"No we are not having sex, I want us to go for a run" I corrected.

"Why are we running" he asked confused, I rolled my eyes at him, "cause you're in a shitty mood and running helps clear your head, especially running in your wolf".

He was quiet for a while before walking back I thought he was heading back but was surprised to hear the shuffling of clothes. Soon enough he shifted and walked to me.

Holy shit I want him to mount me right now, Cora exclaimed.

I nodded dumbly then shook my head as I realized what I did, Cora stop with the sex ideas

Like you don't like them, she snickered.

Ignoring her, I walked behind another tree, took of my clothes placed them in my bag then shifted.

When I walked back to him I tilted my head forward but his wolf shook it's head still staring at me.

He wants us to use the mind link

Liam's wolf was still staring at us so I unblocked him and let him in the mind link.

Where to? He spoke first

The creek, do you know where it is?

He nodded, "race you there"

And he took off, seconds later I followed.

"Well this is my stop" I gestured to the entrance to the pack house.

"Yeah, goodnight Aurora and thanks again for today". I nodded in reply.

"See you at training" he says before turning back and heading off.

We had been in the forest for over two hours and after running to our hearts content we shifted back and got dressed.

While we ran we communicated through the mind link and it was weird. The only person I ever mind linked with are the Knights but am not gonna deny that hearing Liam's voice in my head was comforting.

When we were done we sat down for a while none of us speaking. It was obvious that Liam was worried but I knew he didn't want to talk about it so I didn't push.

Going straight to my room, I had my bath, changed my clothes and headed to Dave's room where the others were.

"Hy girl, how was training?" Dave asked the moment he opened the door.

"Was good, tiring as usual" I answered as I sat down. "Ewwww guys keep it PG", I exclaimed to Mary and Kate who were making out, more like already having sex.

They broke apart with Mary blushing hard.

"It may be tiring but at least you get to see Liam shirtless" Dave gushed.

I rolled my eyes, "unfortunately I don't get to see him shirtless cause he doesn't take his shirt off".

"Does this mean you want to see him shirtless" Kate asked with a smirk

"No, that's not what I meant" I replied defensively.

Mary then squinted her eyes at me "then why are you blushing?"

I wanted to reply but I knew it was hopeless, so I shrugged.

Dave took it as a yes and began singing loudly, "Aurora and Liam sitting on a tree KISSING".

And that didn't help my blushing. I stood to knock him but he hid behind Neil, Mary began singing as well so I just rolled my eyes and sat down.

When they were done singing, we joked around till we decided to get dinner.

While packing the snacks we needed Rex and entourage walked in.

"Hy atta girl, how's training going?" Nathan asked, Rex rolled his eyes.

"Good, Liam's actually a good teacher" I answered, Dave nudged me "yeah, hot ass teacher" and we laughed.

Lisa scoffed, "yeah like he would notice a girl like you.

Deciding to ignore her I turned to my friends, "done packing yet?", they nodded and we went back to Dave's room.

It's midnight and I was ready for bed when I had the sudden craving for apple. Knowing it was Cora's cravings not mine I knew I couldn't ignore it so I headed down to get it but decided to take the stairs.

I was almost at the kitchen when I heard voices, I stood still and tried to listen.

It was the Alphas so I decided to stay put so they won't get my scent.

Tuning to their conversation I listened,

When will they be back,

Maxwell didn't say, he thinks they still need to scout the area.

Well I hope they're in time for the 2nd phase.

When is it scheduled?,

Friday, so far the system shows progress but I only hope it's correct.

Yes, it will be implanted in them during the ID process, although Luke is not done with the system upgrade.

When he returns that's the first thing he'll do, we have to avoid it being hacked or glitching.

I haven't been to the lab, but I've seen the video footage. So far there's progress.

Good then and Rex's plan on getting his mate back.

He hasn't said anything yet but hopefully he wins her back. She's of great importance.

And they walked away the conversation drifting off.

I stood still for a while before going down for my apple and heading back to my room.

Setting up my laptop I hacked into the packs security system. It quiet difficult but after a while I got through.

Going through the system, I noted that there were camera at almost every angle of the pack territory. Including the school, pack house, training ground, garage, and hospital, which is where the secret lab is located but underground.

And this lab was were the enhancement took place. I saw werewolves in different rooms and it was not a pretty sight.

We have to do something to help them, Cora growled in anger

And I know just what to do

I connected the live feeds to my phone so I could watch it anytime.

Tomorrow we pay a surprise visit.
