I was huffing and panting by the time I had dragged all the woods and equipments I needed for my tree house. I had bought some from the hardware store across town but the woods were from the pack shed.

Ensuring that all were in the middle of the trees, I walked out of the circle.

Thanks to my high IQ, remembering the disguise and soundproof spell wasn't going to be an issue.

Going on my knees I concentrated on my power. The thing with my power is that it has the dark and light side and for this spell I needed the both of them but at an equilibrium.

Its was a battle but I was fully concentrated, when they were finally balanced, I started chanting the disguise spell, halfway through it I stood and walked round the circle of trees that would hold my tree house.  After that, I entered the circle of trees and started chanting the soundproof spell.

When I was done with both spells, I walked round the trees again chanting a spell that would hinder the sniffing of scent from outside the circle.

Finishing with the three spells, I went into the middle of the trees and broke the bond between the light and dark power. Collapsing on the ground I tried to catch my breath, keeping both sides of my power on balance was a toil.

I needed the last spell so when one came within distance they wouldn't get the scent of anyone within the circle but I could sniff the scent of the person outside the circle.

When I caught my breath I stood and headed towards the training ground.

After the talk with my parents, I told them I would think about it and let them know. Cora and I decided that we would do it because this was one way of getting to know more about the assassins or as the ignorant pack calls them soldiers.

When I asked my parents why the Alphas wanted me to join them father smiled proudly.

He said that the head of the soldiers was interested in me since the fight with the beta, because I defeated him and it took him time to heal which was unusual.

And the alphas agreed because they think that there's a possibility I'll accept Rex back as my mate and so I need to be a strong Luna.

As I got close to the training ground the stench of the assassins hit me like a ton of bricks.

Cora stood and started pacing, her agitation was awakening my powers. When I got to the grounds I gasped.

About fifty of the people here were the assassins including Luke and the others that weren't were, my siblings, Rex, Mark, Nathan, Neul, Kassandra and some other people I didn't know.

I could feel the anger building and my powers were slowly creeping on me, urging me to do what I always wanted. Revenge.

We have to bear Aurora, we can't ruin this now, try to calm down.

I closed my eyes and tried to breath,

It's funny how few seconds ago you were pissed and now you're clamming me.

Liam, he's Wolf's presence clammed me.

His wolf did what, how is that even possible, we didn't accept him as mate.

Well I don't know but it did, maybe you should go look for Liam, am sure he'll clam you.

Cora what the hell, am so not ready for any mate stuff or talk now ok.

I laughed a bit, Cora was certainly insane.

When I stepped into sight I walked straight to were father and a huge man stood.

"Aurora dear, am glad you decided to make it", he said while opening his arm for a hug.

Ignoring the gesture I greeted them, "good evening Mr Micheal".

Recovering from the rejection, "this is Maxwell, he's the head of assa-, I mean soldiers"

"Good evening Mr Maxwell" I greeted.

He's staring at us and he doesn't trust us because he can sense that we're strong.

"Evening Miss Michael"

"It's Knight Mr Maxwell, Aurora Knight" I corrected.

He looked between father and I then smiled, "Knight it is then".

And the creep is interested in us and wanna do you.

He wants to fuck you Aurora.

He brought his hand for a handshake but knowing what he was thinking I shook my head, "I don't like body contact Mr Maxwell".

He nodded and retreated his hand, "and please call me Maxwell, Mr makes me sound old. I mean am still single".

I shrugged without answering him.

"Well dear, what do you think" father spoke up again.

"About what, Mr Micheal"

"The training, Maxwell already picked someone to train with you, he's the best so far for his age and he's really good".

I nodded, "okay then, but I hope you don't mind, I can't start my training today".

Maxwell rose his brows "and why is that".

"I would like to see how the training is done and what am expected to do. I haven't trained before so I can't just dive in immediately".

Father looked confused "but you defeated Mark".

"That was mainly my anger, he disrespected my parents I just vented that little anger at him".

Maxwell grinned at me "am sure you'll be a strong fighter".

I just nodded, I didn't want to seem excited at the prospect of being trained.

"Yes your personal trainer is here" father said while looking behind me.

Without turning I knew who it was, I could hear Cora purring in my head.

"Enforcer, Uncle" he greeted as he stood beside me.

Wait this man is his uncle, now this just gets worse.

Maxwell smiled, "this is Aurora and you'll be her trainer but training starts tomorrow for her".

Liam turned to me and smirked "hello Aurora am Liam" he said while stretching his hand.

I kept a blank and uninterested face and nodded.

Seeing his hand still hanging father spoke up "Aurora hates any form of body contact". He was smiling probably because he wasn't the only one I ignored.

Liam looked surprised but nodded.

"Why don't you two go ahead and get acquainted but might too familiar" Maxwell spoke.

"Sure uncle, shall we?" He gestured towards the training ground. I moved first and he followed.

The tour was a silent one, he only spoke when he was identifying the various training units. The training ground was really wide giving each training unit enough space.

After 30 minutes of moving round, we were finally done with the tour and I was ready to sleep. The spell I had casted had taken some strength so I was hungry and tired.

"So I'll see you tomorrow after school?" Liam asked as we headed back to the pack house.

I nodded.

He moved to stand before me, at any turn I took he would move, I was getting pissed.

"What do you want?".

And to my surprise he smiled and when he did it brightened his features, his hazel eyes seemed to shine and his face looked relaxed.

Shaking my head I turned to move but he still blocked me, I looked up at him again. I could feel my neck cramping up from staring upward, the dude was 6'7 and I was barely 5'5.

"Liam am tired, hungry not to mention cranky so what do you want?".

"Just wanted to hear you talk thats all".

"You're kidding me right now?".

But he shrugged his very broad shoulders "well I haven't heard you talk since I've know you and we spent an hour together but you didn't say a word".

"Because I have nothing to say, now if you'll excuse me I have got stuff to do".

With that I brushed passed him and moved in direction to the pack house.

When I got to the kitchen I saw the guys waiting for me including Liam, Mary handed me a plate of food and I smiled gratefully at her.

"So how was your first day of training?" Dave inquired.

"I didn't train today just had a tour but my training starts tomorrow after school".

"Who would you be training with?" Neil asked.

"Liam, he's the nephew to the head of soldiers" Luke supplied.

Wait for it in 3 2 1 and....

"OMG, girl you're gonna train with that hot piece of ass and meat and muscles and all" Dave screamed while jumping.

Neil growled and tugged Dave closer "he's hot we get it, now quit getting excited over him".

I laughed when Neil pouted and Dave kissed him.

Luke smiled, "I agree on that count he's really hot. Too bad he's straight".

"Who's hot and straight that isn't me" Nathan asked as he stepped into the kitchen with Rex, Mark, Damien.

"We're talking about Liam, he's Aurora's trainer" Luke answered.

I could see the tensing of Rex's body, not wanting to stay and talk more I turned to my friends.

"Am gonna turn in early, I'll see you guys tomorrow".

Mary walked to me, "are you okay, you look tired".

I just nodded, "I'll be good when I get some sleep, goodnight guys"

When I passsd by Rex, he grabbed my arm and whispered "Liam is no good, you should stay away from him".

I pulled my hand "am pretty sure he's my kind of good".

With that I went to my room, my body shutting down the moment I hit the pillow.
