Quiet. But not in a meek way. Quiet in a way that, if you listen closely, if you pay attention, you can see the clockwork of her mind shifting behind her eyes, hear the tick of the wheels as they turn. Adora has the sort of gaze that makes people question themselves, that makes them stutter and falter. That makes them feel like she knows their deepest, darkest secrets. And, to an extent, she does.
