It's now Sunday afternoon and you sigh as you dread having to work tomorrow.
Yesterday, after your phone sex session with Yoongi, you spent the rest of the day running errands and doing all of the boring chores that come with being an adult. Today, you're hoping to spend the day relaxing and pampering yourself as you prepare yourself for a brutally boring week at work.
You decided to draw yourself a bath and are currently waiting for the tub to fill while scrolling aimlessly on your phone.
As the tub is filling, you decide to text Irene while waiting.
Y/N: So, I got Yoongi's personal number.
Irene: I'm still a little offended that you'd rather have a random guy's phone number instead of going out with the hot guy I set you up with 🙄
Y/N: Just because someone's hot doesn't mean you're compatible.
Irene: You were plenty compatible until he asked for permission to kiss you.
Y/N: Yeah because that just makes the situation so fucking awkward. At that point, just kiss me. This isn't a K-drama where the guy waits until episode 7-8 to kiss the girl.
Irene: What are you going to do with Yoongi's number?
Y/N: Well, I'm thinking after a few more phone sex sessions, I'm going to try to video chat.
Irene: He better be hot or I'll be even more mad at you for not giving my guy another chance.
You merely roll your eyes at her response before glancing over at the tub and seeing that the tub is completely filled. You then set your phone back onto the counter and reach for the tap, turning the water off.
Looking through the many bath salts, you eventually decide on a vanilla bath salt and reach for your self-care book. You smile to yourself before starting to rid yourself of your clothes.
You dip your toe into the bath to make sure the temperature is correct. As the warm water comes into contact with your skin, you let out a soft sigh and finish getting into the bath. Once settled, you lay a small tray onto the tub in front of you to hold your book and a small glass of red wine. You then glance over at your phone on the bathroom counter, contemplating whether you should place it onto the tray in front of you.
Eh, no. This is your time to relax.
You lean back in the tub fully and allow your knees to be slightly above the water as you hold your book in front of you with one hand and the wine in the other.
Taking a sip of the wine, you read the next chapter of your book.
Self-love.
You're a person who has slowly gotten better at this aspect of improving yourself for the better. You had a phase growing up where you were insecure and felt not good enough for those around you. A phase where you constantly would stare at yourself in the mirror and judge yourself based on your physical qualities rather than all qualities of yourself.
Granted, most women deal with this on a daily basis. You're not the first and are by far the last to have thoughts like this. In fact, these thoughts still occur here and there. However, learning to give yourself the respect and justice that you should always give to yourself, it's gotten better.
You smile to yourself softly as you read the affirmations that the book recommends you say to yourself.
You set the wine glass onto the tray in front of you. Reaching for the mirror in your shower used to ensure there's no shampoo in your hair and to shave, you hold the mirror up and stare at the makeup-less, most vulnerable version of yourself.
"I am worthy. I am intelligent. I am loved. I am beautiful. I am unapologetically myself." You state while staring at yourself in the mirror. As you say these words, you can't help but smile softly at yourself in the reflection. Though you say similar things to yourself mentally every morning, hearing the words out loud gives a stronger impact on the statements, enforcing them.
Tilting your head to the side, you notice the slight flaws in your natural skin. A few post-acne scars scattered along your cheeks, current pimples spread across your chin and forehead, slight dark tints under your eyes, and the cracked, dry appearance of your lips.
You inhale a deep breath as you start noticing these flaws before speaking.
"Acne is normal, I am normal." You mumble to yourself.
You know the acne can be treated, the dark circles and dry lips as well. In your mind, you remind yourself of the fact that these superficial things do not take away from the inner qualities of yourself that the world would miss out on had they only judged your physical appearance.
You are very smart, finishing all of your work hours ahead of schedule. You are very kind, willing to drop your activities for any friend when they are in need of comfort. You are unique, your thoughts being only yours and no one being unable to mimic these thoughts. You are determined, dedicated to achieving only the best things for yourself. You are strong, able to overcome any hardships life has to throw at you.
Biting onto your lower lip, you set the mirror down and wrap your arms around your frame, holding yourself as you take multiple deep breaths. You allow yourself to comfort yourself as you reassure that you are deserving of good things and love, whether it be platonic or romantic.
Whilst you're in the middle of holding yourself, your phone beeps.
Your head immediately turns as you hear that it's a phone call. You furrow your eyebrows as you hear the ringtone.
You just talked to your parents a few days ago, it can't be them. Irene hates talking on the phone, it's not her either.
Curious, you push the tray in front of you a little bit before standing up slightly just to get a view of the phone. As you do, your body involuntarily shivers as you feel the cool air hitting your body once more.
It's Jieun.
You press your lips into a thin line as you stare at the contact.
You're off work today. As much as you love the bubbly girl, you hate associating yourself with work over the weekend, let alone on a Sunday.
Whatever it is, it can wait until tomorrow morning.
You immediately shake your head before settling back into the bath once more for a few seconds.
Just as you start to close your eyes, you hear the phone beep once more, this time indicating that you have a voicemail.
You narrow your eyes over at the phone.
Surely you're not her emergency contact... right?
No, she has her brother to contact for things like that. It couldn't possibly be an emergency.
You shake your head to yourself as you lean back into the bath, taking deep breaths. Closing your eyes, you inhale the scent of the vanilla bath salts and find your shoulders physically relaxing now that you're settled in the tub once more.
That is, until your anxiety starts to trigger as you grow concerned as to what Jieun could've possibly needed from you to call.
Groaning, you tab on the plug of the bathtub, allowing the water to start draining as you stand up. You reach for your towel to dry your body before wrapping yourself in the warm, purple fuzzy robe that you had laid out for yourself. You reach a hand up and remove your hair from the bun that it had been in to prevent it from getting wet in the water, seeing as you just washed it this morning.
You remove the tray from your tub and set it on the bathroom counter and remove the book from it. You then grab the glass, chugging the rest of the wine to finish it and setting the empty glass onto the counter. You are then holding the book in one hand as you use the other to check your phone.
You put the phone on speaker as you open the bathroom door to make your way into your room to set the book back down onto your nightstand.
"Hi, Y/N, it's Jieun. I know this is so last minute and I'm so sorry to be calling you on a Sunday but tomorrow afternoon, I'll be meeting with SUGA. I know I said I'm meeting him on Friday but I can't pass up the opportunity to have two sessions in one week. It's rare that he does two sessions with an artist per week unless he really thinks the song has a lot of potential. Anyways, you don't have to call me back or anything but can you text me and let me know if you're okay with going? If not, I can try seeing if my brother can go with me but at least think about it first. Thank you, have a great day, I'll see you at work tomorrow. Bye."
You raise your eyebrows at the lengthy message, trying to process everything she just said.
You shake your head for a second.
This girl talks a little too much sometimes.
Taking a deep breath, you set your phone down and decide to think it over for a bit. It is afternoon after all, so you should have your answer within a few hours.
You disregard the message for now and continue to do your pamper routine.
You shave, exfoliate, smother yourself with a hydrating lotion, and get dressed into your most comfortable pair of pajamas before digging through your skincare. You find a hydrating mask along with a hand and foot mask. You put all of them on, covering the foot one with socks meant to be worn on top of these as you still want to be able to walk around the house.
Sighing, you go into your living room and grab the leftover food in your fridge to heat up.
As the food is heating up, you look for something to watch.
That is, until you get a text.
Yoongi: I know I sent you my schedule for work but tomorrow I'll be working late... hopefully you don't need me to help satisfy you tomorrow.
You roll your eyes at the arrogance spewing out of this text message.
Why are all the hottest guys the most ego-driven?
Your thumbs ferociously tap against your phone screen to type a response.
Y/N: Haha. How thoughtful of you to tell me ahead of time. Fortunately for you, your services aren't required. I just so happen to have plans also.
Yoongi: Aw, a hot date with one of those losers who can't make you cum the way I do?
This response gets another eye roll out of you as you scoff.
You stare down at the screen, seething as you try to come up with a response.
God, this man makes your blood boil... and your pussy wet.
Y/N: Please, you aren't that good. It's actually my vibrator that does the work every time we talk.
You smirk to yourself as you hit send, pride filling your body as you believe that you've won this teasing exchange.
That is, until your phone beeps again.
Yoongi: If it's your vibrator then why would you need to hear my voice? Be realistic, baby girl, your vibrator wouldn't make you cum without you having my dirty talk to listen to.
You grit your teeth together as you stare down at the message.
Y/N: My vibrator could make me cum even if I were lying in my bed in silence, relying on my dirty thoughts to get off to.
Yoongi: Prove it. Think you can masturbate right now and prove you can cum without hearing my voice?
You bite onto your lower lip, shaking your head as you read this response.
You know, though you'd never admit to Yoongi, your mind would end up thinking about the dirty things he's said to you in the past.
Granted, that's still not cumming to his voice directly because it'd be based on past conversations, but you'd still lose that bet based on this fact alone.
Y/N: You're not tricking me into masturbating for you to prove that I can come to other things, I'm not an idiot, Yoongi.
Yoongi: Worth a shot.
You let out a laugh now, covering your face as you shake your head.
Yoongi: Have fun with your plans tomorrow. If it is a date, be safe.
You smile softly at his second text before sighing softly.
This man is something else despite you never seeing his face before.
