It's been a few days since you and Yoongi had lunch at his apartment.

You're sitting on your couch, eyes glued to the TV as you watch the latest gossip channel. Biting onto your lower lip, you can't seem to stay still, fidgeting every time they change the topic, knowing that any minute now, they'll be talking about Yoongi.

"Jesus Christ, Y/N, we scripted the perfect response, he'll be fine." Irene groans once she enters your living room after stopping by the kitchen to get some snacks. She has some chips and candy in her hands as she walks over to you before plopping onto the couch next to you.

"I just need to hear what the news outlets are going to say about it." You explain, immediately reaching your hand into the bowl of chips to grab a handful. Then, you stuff your mouth with the handful of chips as Irene stares over at you, sighing softly while shaking her head.

"It doesn't matter what news outlets say. If his fans are okay with it, then it'll all work out. He just needs his fans' support." She responds. You sigh before nodding your head.

Once you both grow quiet and eat the snacks, the magic word is said on the television.

"Onto celebrity news, record producer SUGA has been caught in a scandal involving posting sexual audios onto a personal social media account." The announcer states. You widen your eyes and put your full attention onto the television. "He has since issued the following statement in response to the scandal."

They then proceeded to show the statement that both Namjoon's PR team and Irene drafted together and read it aloud. You bite onto your lower lip as this is the fifth time you've had to listen to and read this statement.

"Please..." You utter under your breath, causing Irene to put a comforting hand on your shoulder. Taking a deep breath, you shut your eyes for a moment.

"What does everyone think about this statement?" one of the hosts question.

"I think it was really irresponsible of him to have an account like this." One of them states, causing you to tense up slightly. "He knows the age group of his fans are younger than him and he's being a horrible influence."

"I disagree. I believe the age range of his fans varies and majority of them are likely adults as he discusses harder topics like anxiety and depression in his music. I've seen the people on Twitter behind the hashtags and events they hold for SUGA and there are plenty of young people but there are a lot that are older than SUGA himself." One of the other hosts states. "He's a grown man and if he wants to be sexual, he's an adult and there's nothing wrong with adults expressing themselves. What's the difference between him doing this and someone else who isn't famous doing OnlyFans and posting moaning audios on there? There isn't one."

"You all are forgetting that he didn't do this primarily as a reason to be sexual. If you had watched his documentary, read the books he's published, and listened to interviews he's done in the past, you would know that growing up, he had money struggles and was often working 3-4 jobs at a time to help his family despite being in high school." Another host states, causing the first to speak to roll their eyes. "When you're at a hard place in life with money and you have to act like an adult and have the responsibility of an adult when you're just a teenager, it makes sense that he did something, anything to get the money his family needed."

"You can get plenty of normal jobs like working at a supermarket or working at a fast food restaurant." The first host states.

"Yes but those clearly don't pay that much if he was working 3-4 of them at a time." The second host responds. "I did see the documentary and listened to him talking about his struggles. At one point, he did mention even with those jobs, he had to sometimes choose between taking the bus or being able to eat a meal. You're being far too hard on this man. He's rarely been in any scandals compared to other producers."

A fourth host decides to chime in, causing your heart to speed up.

"My issue with this is the fact that he would do personal phone calls with these people." They state. "You can't verify anyone's age and confirm they aren't minors. You can only trust what they tell you and who knows how many of the people he's had phone sex with are minors?" he questions.

"That's a valid point."

Shit.

"I'm sure upon hearing voices that sound like anyone who's underage, he would've hung up." The second host states. This causes the fourth to shake their head.

"That's the thing, you could have a young-sounding voice but be of age but you can also have the small chance of an underage person having a more mature voice." They respond. "Posting the audios isn't a problem, it's not his fault if someone pays for an audio from him. The issue is when he does the phone calls where it's double-sided communication." They respond.

This causes everyone to grow quiet for a second. This silence makes you shut your eyes tightly to avoid seeing their expressions.

You press your lips together and shake your head.

"Doesn't sound good..." you state.

"It's fifty-fifty." Irene states. "Just like any other scandal that any idol has, regardless of how ridiculous the critics sound. This same fifty-fifty scenario happens when female idols wear revealing clothing and half the internet slut-shames while the other defends the artist."

"This is more than clothing." You can barely let out as a murmur. Irene glances over at you, tilting her head to the side as she sympathizes with you. Sighing, you slowly opens your eyes and look back at the screen.

"Regardless, at least a statement was issued. I'm sure his company will contact those he did have double-sided communication to confirm that no one was a minor." The third person states. "No company would want questions like that outstanding for the public to make assumptions about. I'm sure his company would want to clear up things like that to avoid further scandals regarding the matter."

You sigh a breath of relief.

Irene opens her mouth to say something while turning the TV off. However, she's interrupted by your phone ringing.

"Hello?" you question, answering without looking at the Caller ID.

"Just saw the news article... just to confirm, you didn't lie to me about your age, did you?" You hear Yoongi's deep voice questioning in a teasing tone from his side of the line. You roll your eyes upon hearing this.

"That's not a funny joke."

"Who said I'm joking?" he further interrogates. You grin for a second before quickly shaking your head.

"Nope, I can show you my driver's license to prove it." You state.

"Yeah, I might need you to come over to show me." He suggests. This causes you to shake your head.

"Okay, no more of this conversation, it's getting weird now." You state, causing him to laugh on his side of the line.

"Fair enough," he starts before speaking again. "I do want you to come over though so I can see you." He states, causing you to smile softly.

"No can do, I'm with Irene right now." You state, causing Irene to give a smug smile as you say this.

"So? Kick her out." He states.

"Hey, little man, I heard that." Irene states loudly, apparently able to hear Yoongi's voice from where she's seated. This causes you to widen your eyes and cover your mouth to hold in laughter as you hear Yoongi.

"Did she just call me 'little man?'" he questions.

"I-" you start before failing to hold the laughter in upon speaking. "I think she did." You say in between fits of laughter.

"You tell her I'm literally taller than her." He argues.

"I know you're taller than me. I wasn't talking about that." Irene says while smirking to herself.

"I really hope you didn't hear that." You state while reaching a hand up to face-palm yourself.

"Oh, I definitely did." He states before laughing softly. "But I'll let it slide if she gets out of your apartment so I can see my girl."

"Was already on my way out now that I've saved your ass from that scandal." Irene responds, causing you to laugh softly. She then gets up, grabbing her bag before giving you a quick hug. "Bye, Y/N. Bye, Yoongi." She states into the phone as she gives you the hug. This causes you to laugh.

"Alright, she's gone now." You say as she steps out of your front door, giving you one last wave. You wave back before he speaks up.

"Am I free to stop by your place?" he questions. "I really do want to see you, you know, after everything that's been going on."

"I'll tell you what, if you pick up a pizza while on your way here, yes." You respond, causing him to laugh softly.

"Just text me what toppings you want and I'll place the order for pickup right now, baby." He responds. This causes you to smile widely as he says this.

"Will do. Wow, you must really like me to say yes to anything I ask." You tease, causing him to laugh.

"Well, don't get a big head about it." He states, causing you to laugh as well. "But yeah, I guess I do like you... sort of... maybe." He jokes, causing you to roll your eyes.

"Okay, Romeo, enough sweet talk out of you, save it for when you get here." You say.

"Yeah, I should probably save it for when I get there. My sweet talk always ends up with you being naked, wouldn't want that happening when I'm not there yet." He says. You can practically hear the smugness in his voice and can picture the wide smirk on his face.

"Goodbye." You say in a sing-song voice before hanging up the phone and shaking your head.

So arrogant, yet so hot.

I figured I would post the next update a day earlier just because of me missing update day last week. Enjoy!!! We only have 4 chapters left.

I've already mentioned this on my profile but for my readers who may not follow me or may not have seen it, I figured I should give a disclosure here too. With Donald Trump becoming president again (unfortunately), I've heard things about him being associated with Project 2025, a plan that is essentially going to backtrack where I live. It has many policies they plan on putting in place and one of them includes banning porn and pornographic content. Now, as my stories do contain smut, I saw some people online saying some writers living here who write smut may be affected by this. I'm praying and hoping that I'm overreacting and this isn't going to happen but with that being said, if this is put into law, my stories could quite literally be banned where I live.

Now, I of course didn't study law and didn't major in government or anything of the sorts so this could be something that the Senate and Congress could prevent from happening (I say this because it could be something that is considered to be against the peoples' first amendment right). I genuinely could be overreacting/being paranoid and I honestly hope that's the case. If it's not, I hope there are actions that can be taken to prevent these bans if they were to be put in place.

Now; do I have a plan? No honestly. I don't know what I would be able to do if this were to be a reality. That's why I'm hoping it's an overreaction or my anxiety getting the best of me.

I just wanted to be fully transparent with that topic because I did mention it on my message board a week or two back. It's just worth mentioning if *knock on wood* it becomes a reality.

Again, hoping I'm wrong on that.
