On their way to Pewter City Ashley caught a Shiny Caterpie, a Shiny Pidgeotto, and a Shiny Weedle.   before Ashley and Misty got to the first gym they spent a lot of time training to which Spearow and Pidgeotto learned Air Slash and Air Cutter, Caterpie and Weedle couldn't learn any more moves since they were maxed out at the moment, Gyarados learned Dragon Rage and Dragon Dance, and Riolu learned Close Combat and Aura Sphere. After training Ashley and Misty went to the Pokemon Center to rest. That night Ashley couldn't sleep as she tossed and turned. In her dream she saw a large Pokemon that she didn't recognize. It stood at 6 feet 7 inches, and looked menacing...yet it showed compassion and sympathy for her. It reached out for her begging her to come with it. But when she looked behind her she saw everything burning around her. She woke up drenched in sweat and looked at her surroundings only to find that everything was normal save for Mew, Spearow, and Pidgeotto who looked at their mistress with concern on their faces. Riolu was asleep curled up beside her mistress and woke up confused at the sudden action. "It was just a dream. I'll be right back guys." She left for the bathroom to splash cold water on her face. 

"Was it though? Was it just a dream? Or was someone or something trying to warn me?" She asked quietly to herself.  The next morning Ashley went down to the cafeteria and got breakfast. Her Pokemon still concerned for her. 

"Guys. I'm fine...really." Ashley lied. The others nodded but Mew knew something was up but didn't press it. That nightmare Ashley had last night got her on edge. Whatever that dream was about it certainly didn't look like any random night terror...and Mew knew that. For now at least she needed to be there for her dearest friend.  Meanwhile in the Hall of Origin. Arceus the God Pokemon had seen the vision that haunted his Chosen One all night through his Psychic Plate. To say that he was on edge as well would be an understatement. Arceus paced back and forth deep in thought. He could very well just end it here and now by destroying that accursed Island, but then he stopped his pacing and looked into a pool that shown his beloved Chosen One getting ready for her day as usual.

 'Let us wait and see. She is probably the only one who can stop this before any blood spills.' He thought to himself as he smiled at her. Despite his optimism for the girl his anxiety only grew. He took a shallow swallow and assured himself that everything was going to be alright.  Back on Earth Ashley and Misty entered the Gym. 

"Who goes there?" A voice boomed.  "I'm Ashley Ketchum from Pallet Town and I challenge you to a Gym Battle!" Ashley replied.  Suddenly all the lights came on and standing in front of her was a boy in his late Teens. But upon seeing Ashley Brock got all flirty only to have Mew toss him back with Psychic. Spearow wanted so badly to peck this boy's brains out for flirting with his mistress. Unworthy cunt. Pidgeotto tried to look stoic but like Spearow she also wanted to peck his brains out. Mew glared at him and immediately Brock got the message. 

"Eh...two on two good with you?" He asked rather nervously.  "*Sigh* Yes that's fine." Ashley replied as she and Brock stood opposite each other on the field.  "Geodude go!" Brock called out as Geodude took the field.  "Riolu. You have a type advantage against Geodude. You're a Fighting Type Pokemon while Geodude is a Rock and Ground Type. You're up sis." Ashley said as Riolu jumped off of Ashley's shoulder and landed on the battlefield.  "A Shiny Riolu? Where did you get to be so lucky? You're just a beginner aren't you?" Brock asked.

  "I guess Lord Arceus just knows what I need and sends them my way." Ashley replied.

  "Funny thing is Riolu aren't even native to Kanto." Brock added. 

 "Riolu's my starter...unlike the normal three that I should've started out with. Then again I'm not exactly your average little girl." Ashley commented causing Brock to raise an eyebrow. "Riolu use Aura Sphere to start off!" Ashley ordered as Riolu sent Geodude flying. 

 "Geodude get up and use Rock Throw!" Brock ordered as Geodude did what he was told.  "Riolu dodge and use Quick Attack then go in for a Close Combat!" Ashley countered.  "Geodude Defensive Curl then use Rollout!" Brock countered Ashley's counter but was too late. One moment Geodude was bulldozed next thing he knew he was being punched and kicked repeatedly. Then he was out like a light.

 "Geodude return. Get some rest. Onix go!" Brock called out as the Rock Snake Pokemon took the field.  

"Riolu return.Good job girl. Gyarados I choose you!" Ashley called out as the Atrocious Pokemon met his opponent eye to eye.  

"A Shiny Gyarados? Where is she getting all the luck?" Brock asked to himself. "Onix start off with Bind!" He ordered. Onix then wrapped around Gyarados causing Ashley to growl. "Gyarados or not I will earn your love and admiration by taking down your strongest Pokemon!" Brock declared.  

"Gyarados use Hyper Beam!" Ashley smirked as Gyarados gave Onix a face full of Hyper Beam deflating Brock's flirty proclamation.  They recalled their Pokemon and Ashley walked out of the Gym with a badge in hand. Brock sat on the floor dejectedly crying waterfalls. When they got out the door however the man they had met earlier (Flint) walked in and started talking to Brock. Curious Ashley and Misty leaned in to hear something about how sorry the man was for leaving and that Brock should travel to fulfill his own desires. Brock immediately jumped at the chance and said yes. Then he started giving the man a list of chores, then left.

 "Hey Ashley do you mind if I travel with you?" Brock bluntly asked catching the girl off guard.  "What about the Gym though?" Ashley asked.  "My dad is going to take back control of the Gym so I can pursue other dreams." Brock replied.  "You don't want to be a Gym Leader?" Ashley asked in surprise.  "My true dream is to be a Pokemon Breeder. I have no intention of going back to the Gym life." Brock replied.  

"Well the more the merrier I suppose." Ashley thought as Brock gained that goofy look on his face but stopped when he saw the glares from Ashley's Pokemon with a "flirt with her and you're dead" look.  "Hey Ashley do you mind if I ask you something?" Brock asked seriously which surprised the girl considering he tried to flirt with her earlier.  "Uh...sure. What is it Brock?" Ashley asked.  "How did you get such a rare and strong team when you've only just started on your Pokemon Journey?" Brock asked.  

"I won't hold any information back. *Sigh* I'm what the Legendaries call the Aura Goddess a divine being sent here to keep peace in the Pokemon World. Mew was basically the only friend I had. I tried to make friends with the other kids but they just called me a freak and started bullying me...especially Gary Oak." Ashley explained but mumbled the last part...although they all got what she said. "*Sigh* It was because I was always bullied that I secluded myself and became a recluse. As for the Pokemon. Just like I said before, Arceus is sending me Pokemon that I might need on my Journey." She explained.  "Wow." Brock simply stated. 

 Unknown to them all our favorite Team Rocket trio thought the same as they hid behind a bush. "I'm very surprised that she didn't join us." Jessie thought in disbelief.  "Really. Most people who joined Team Rocket were pissed at someone for some reason." James agreed.  "But if she's so powerful. Why doesn't she do something about those bullies?" Jessie asked.  "Who knows. Maybe she's just too kind to do anything." James replied.  "Regardless. We need to inform the boss. I'm sure he'll be very pleased." Jessie thought. "Plus if she doesn't join us willingly. We'll just force her to." She added.

  "Capturing the Aura Goddess." James mused. "Sounds like a plan." He consented.  "I'm all for it." Meowth agreed.  What NO ONE knew however was on an Island, contained in a chemical bath was the same being from Ashley's dream. He reached out with his Psychic Powers and was made fully aware of these people's intentions. Then he found the one from his dreams. 

He found her at last. And was determined to keep this innocent and kind girl away from his creators. He now knew that himself and this girl were going to be turned into weapons of mass destruction. He had to break free of this prison. He had to protect her. No matter the cost. And he doesn't give a damn about who get's in his way. He was going to save her from a terrible fate. As he finished that thought a crack appeared on the glass container.
