Rainy Puzzle

Jupiter remembers how lonely he is

++++++++++

Bad days are always portrayed as dark and gloomy. Heavy rain clouds cover the sky, and the promise of rain not too far away, always there to come crashing down at the perfectly emotional moment, setting the mood. But some days the appearance of the world is so ill-fitting to the moods of those who are having a bad day. A bright and sunny day, making the world look happy and bright, with the promise of only enjoyment and gladness throughout the day. How uncomfortable it must feel, with the sun excitedly shining down on you, while you cry.

It was easy for Jupiter to imagine how it felt. His window wide open, allowing the sun's glow to fill his room with a warm yellow, as he laid, blank faced, at the wall. He didn't stir, almost seeming to not breath, as the sun rised, engulfing him in the bright sunshine of the day. It took him moments of staring at his wall for everything to fit like peices in a puzzle, a dark, rainy, gloomy puzzle. One in which would be seemingly black from a distance, but up close would be built up of rain clouds, full of water to drip down onto equally gloomy pedestrians walking down the road. His eyes welled up with tears, that began to slowly slide down his face as he gripped the only blanket laying on his bed.

He felt the need to vomit, or move, his body having gone numb long ago. He couldn't remember how long he had been laying, staring at the wall, waiting for some form of emotion to spark up inside him. He now wished that nothing ever clicked. And instead he laid numb, ignoring every emotion one could feel. Unfortunately not everything works out as he hoped, its unlikely for things to ever go that way.

The loneliness he felt crept up on him, crippling him. He no longer felt any need to do anything anymore. Why should he, no one would be there to care, be proud, anything of the sort. He was alone. Alone with the bright sun, happy to impose the opposite of his dire mood.
