The judge will read the first 3-5 chapters of the book depending on the length of the chapters. These chapters determine how engaging the book is. If the judge decides to read more chapters to further evaluate, they may do so.

Depending on how many chapters a book has may vary in length. It's recommended to read at least 5 five chapters to save time.

In this awards, the judge is in charge of evaluating 5-10 books. To avoid burn out, it's better to have at least 2-3 judges per genre to make the judging process much smoother.

If there are less books submitted in a certain genre, this judge could help aid another judge evaluating a more popular genre with the remaining books if it were the case.

This situation can also apply to the mini awards.
