Chapters 46-57 — The Grimm Dossier by BellOfSilence

Summary: The protagonists face the villain in a final battle and therefore the longest fight compared to the other entries.

Chapter 46 - Encounter

In this encounter Ben goes armed to face the antagonist as he finds the girl.

Chapter 47 - Name reveal of the villain

This villain goes by many names within the story, but his preferred name is the Dragon of Manaton.

Chapter 48 - Villain approaches child/victim

The villain approaches the little girl who is in deep slumber under his spell.

Chapter 49 - The Pact and details of the murder

The pact made between the deceptive demon and the innocent orphan girl was to fulfill a wish — to make the fairytales on her storybook come to life. Not knowing that the demon would fulfill her wish to murder the victims in a similar shown in the storybook.

Chapter 50 - Use and reload of firearm (including actual fighting)

Ben uses the firearm though its inefficient against the shapeshifting antagonist as such the Dragon of Manaton overpowers him.

Chapter 51 - Ben shoots the monster, Kyle appears

As it is implied, Ben manages to shoot the monster before Kyle is translocated to the fight and the chapter explains how he got there.

Chapter 52 - The villain is identified as either a dragon or a demon; the wizard goes to rescue Annabeth (a girl) while Ben prepares to shoot.

Kyle draws a circle to imprison the demon while Ben distracts the demon, he ran out of ammo.

Chapter 53 - Kyle uses his magic to make the roots detain the demon and for the trees to bury him.

Chapter 54 - Kyle urged Ben to pray, before Manaton got back up.

Chapter 55- Ben prayed, and finally a bullet shot out, hurting Manaton. The chapter ends with the beast ready to kill Ben.

Chapter 56 - Kyle brings the weapon to kill Manaton.

Chapter 57 - The demon gets slain by the sword Kyle brought and the chapter ends when the little girl wakes up.

Chapters 1&2 — Cierra's Tale by Snowhearts19__3

Summary: It's a well-written short story about a swordswoman fighting against her opponent.

Despite that it only has 2 chapters, the story relays a message in the ending.

Even if the protagonist won against her opponent she is also aware that she had lost knowing that there are women out there who are struggling to survive.

This element to the short story is simple, yet profound to gloss over that the protagonist has a long way to go in order to make a change.

Chapters 6 & 7 (Mariya Vs Koiya) — Top Of The World by the_mf_world

Summary: A fight between two strong women in the ladies' restroom. The fight starts near the end of chapter 6 and ends on Chapter 7 (around two or 3 minutes tops).

The chapter contains lots of tense errors. The details of fight are near the end. Sound effects are captivating despite the story itself is more of a script.

The fight was entertaining at least.

The fight ends with Mariya defeating Koiya with her beast form. Leaving Koiya knocked out and a broken sink (if I'm not mistaken).

3rd Place go to Kurokun07, the_mf_world & withyejide

Chapter 43 — Trinity: TTT by Kurokun07

Summary: A fight between a guy named Daniel and a martial artist called No.7 at a tournament.

The chapter of the fight has details throughout. A couple of grammar and spelling mistakes.

Quick fight. Fun concept.

The fight itself had to be brief in order for Daniel to defeat No.7 under a time limit within the match. It was more or less a stepping stone related to the plot.

It's well done despite being a short chapter.

Summary: Jauhruno is brought to an academy located on an island courtesy of a man alongside with a man, this man has connections with the headmaster of the academy.

Once Jahruno steps foot into the academy, the man shows him the tour. Jahruno was unaware of Rye's presence until he sees him, Rye wants to avenge his hospitalized brother and wants to settle the score, a fight breaks out. The two duke it out throwing punches. I found the interaction somewhat funny.

Funny with a side of no homo.

The fight ends with Jahruno defeatimg Rye, Rye goes to the infirmary to treat his injuries and the chapter ends with the man taking Jahruno to the headmaster, Mr. Bates.

Chapter 23 — Rogue by withyejide

Summary: Eniola discovers Keone is Paradox.

The tense atmosphere is ideal for the fight to take place. The build up for the fight was properly placed and neatly written in terms to the storyline, though it wasn't Eniola's best fight.

Eniola gets searing pain from her arm caused by Paradox, a fiery bolt of some sort. The reveal of the anatagonist is crucial though the execution itself raised questions.

If he's the one causing the glitches in SCOPE how is he tampering with the real world? I get it, there are hackers in the story but I'm trying to grasp the impact with this fight specifically.

What I could read regarding this fight is that Keone left hints that he was behind the glitch and this realization hit Eniola.

The delivery is a hit or miss in my opinion.

Chapter 13&14 (Loubouton Vs Dolche) — Top Of The World by the_mf_world
Chapter 13- Master pupil-esque interaction. Dolche tries to hit Loubouton whilst Loubouton avoid the attacks effortlessly under the time limit of 2 minutes. The match ends though Dolche wasn't able to land a hit on Loubouton.

Chapter 14 - Loubouton goes all out on Dolche and defeats Dolche easily.

7. Chapter 14&15 (Dionte Vs Nanjo) — Top Of The World by the_mf_world

Fight breaks out because Nanjo calls Dionte and his mom, Bell, bozos.

Dionte destroying the gym equipment or part of the gym with his technique along with Nanjo was greatly exaggerated in my opinion.

Dionte defeats Nanjo easily with his technique. Then they get along after Jahruno informs who is whom and clears the misunderstanding.

8. Chapters 11&12 (Asher & Isabella against Maria and her coven of witches) — The Tribrid Prince by Denyefa4

The entry is anulled due to the story no longer being available on Wattpad. I tried finding the chapter with the link previously placed on the author's bio. The link was there, but couldn't find the chapters of the book. So, this entry is deemed invalid.

Chapter 12 (War in the library of dark arts) — Secrets of the last witch by Alienatarea51

As I read and re-read the chapter, the fight looked more of a rescue mission or an escape plan than an actual fight. Sure, it featured explosive potions but I couldn't pick up what was happening.
