Keefe's POV

                Keefe felt Sophie's panic. He wanted to step in, but he was frozen. Frozen to the spot. How was Fitz here? What had Bex done? So far, nothing besides smirking. Bex rolled her eyes. "Stop staring at me like I'm evil, okay? I just... I really want to find my mom. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I knew you wouldn't let me, no matter what I threatened. I don't know what's happening, and I feel... really helpless. So can we please just skip the arguing and go?" Bex pleaded, all traces of smugness gone from her face. 

                Fitz was glaring at them both with a rage that had Ro taking a step back. Everyone was silent for a little until Keefe decided to brave it. "Listen, I know you really want to find your mom. Actually, wait. I take that back. I have absolutely no idea what you are feeling right now. If my mom went missing, I would be partying. But if one of my friends went missing, then I can understand how you're feeling. But you said that we could go, and now you're taking back your promise?" Keefe asked.

                 "Actually, I didn't promise anything. I just blackmailed you, and said I'm not forcing you to take me. But I really, really, want to go, and Dex was definitely going to say no, and you guys are my best bet. Please, Sophie? We're family!" Bex begged. 

                  Keefe was surprised when he looked over at Sophie. She wasn't shocked anymore. She just had a cold, hard gaze facing Fitz's angry, blazing look. "Fine. Bex, you can come. I don't know why you brought Glimmer and Fitz, but they can't come," she said.

                   Bex sighed in relief. "Thank you." she turned to Fitz and Glimmer. "Sorry, I know you wanted to come, but I tried. Bye." Bex didn't seem that sorry at all as she bounded towards Sophie and hugged her. "Wait. I really want to come. And I have something that might convince you. But please don't tell anyone until I'm ready." A voice came from behind the hood. From Glimmer.

                     Sophie started to shake her head but paused when Glimmer reached for her hood. She pushed it back, and it fell behind her. Keefe couldn't believe his eyes. "Linh?" he whispered.
